Hm interesting! That's how I've been saying it.  My MIL corrected me that is was "Ann-Eye-Eese" but I still said it "Ah-Nai-Is"

I actually just checked into this because I wanted to confirm for my car and use.  I have LATCH anchors on the two outside seats, but not the middle.  I can install a car seat base in the middle with the two inside anchors from the outside seats because BOTH my car manual allows it, as does the car seat I'm going to be using.  Essentially, the car manual says "it's ok to do this if your car seat can use LATCH up to 20" apart" and my car seat manual says "this seat can accommodate Latch up to 20" apart, but check your car manual"

So I know weight is a somewhat taboo topic around here, but is it bad that one of my big reasons for being excited to give birth is to lose weight? Like not baby weight, but the excess slowing-me-down weight that I was trying to shed BEFORE we got pregnant. I want it to be spring/summer right now. Our complex's pool opens in May which will be awesome for recovering from giving birth, and the sidewalks will be nice and clean to walk James around in his stroller. I've always been on the lazy side when it comes to getting outdoors, but I'm actually really excited for it after this winter!!! Basking in the warm sunlight with my favorite baby, planning picnics on the weekend with his daddy, and getting back to feeling normal

I've all of a sudden started getting comments the past few days too.

At church on Sunday my pastor jokingly told me that I'm not allowed to get up during service because if I do he will drop everything thing and assume im in labor. Silly pastor.

I always thought the weight topic was obly annoying when someone says "omg I already gained x, is this normal? What aboutyou? I'm so fat."

I have been getting more comments lately too.  And judging by my HDBD progression pics and overall uncomfortableness I know I am really growing.  How much bigger will I get in the next 5 weeks!?  I'm a little scared to find out.

OK so this was 4 pages back... but I just did that test out of curiosity...

My score was 75%.....

I would have thought a positive pregnancy test, feeling movement, and missing more than one period would put me at 100% but apparently as I'm not moody and don't have headaches, I may not be....

We moved in mid-November to this apartment by a gorgeous nature reserve park. It's huge and there is a giant playground (in addition to a cute playground and pool at our complex), there are walking trails, bandshells, events in the summer.... I remember my time in London and being so jealous that everyone spent their weekends just lying around in the grass at parks, and I want to recreate that this year. You know, pack up some sandwiches and supplies, grab a newspaper/magazine and just have family time outside. I never thought I'd say this, but I'm even excited for baseball season. We got these teeny tiny sunglasses, baseball booties and onesies for James and I actually can't WAIT to get some friends together and take him to his first baseball game

I just had a proud mama moment! I picked up my 9 year old and her friends, and they immediately started talking about how weird this other girl is (she is pretty damn weird) and the only thing my daughter says, "Yes, but she is a really good friend." Awwwwwww! I know this girl annoys the crap out of Avery but I've always told her not to gossip, and when the other girls gossip about something change the topic into something positive about that person. The kid actually listens to me!

Just got off the phone with my mom, and she cracks me up.  She was telling me that she had a nightmare earlier this week about the baby shower (it's this Saturday). Somehow in her dream the house was being renovated and nothing was where it should be, and the shower was being held elsewhere and she didn't have any of her recipe cards and was running around scrambling trying to figure out details and everyone was already there. I couldn't help but laugh my butt off as she's describing it all to me - my mom is super organized and planned out, so this was literally her worst nightmare! She woke up and had to go sit down and make lists to calm herself down.

Somehow we then got into discussing my personality as a child, and how I didn't take shit from anyone in my school classes (or let my friends take it from other people), even as a kindergartner.  Apparently all the teachers knew I was the girl that nobody in class would mess with because I just didn't take crap from anybody.  I always knew I had a bit of a mouth, but I never realized just how much I used it!

I kinda hope Peanut gets that trait from me, but just doesn't use it ON me...

Best thing about training a replacement teacher to cover for me in my absence? Starting this week I'm only teaching 1/2 my classes. I'm still, there, but she's in charge. It's like Christmas came early!

This made me teary eyed. I think that's a huge accomplishment in motherhood especially raising a girl. I hope to successfully do what you were able to do with your daughter with this baby.

This is exactly why I love having student teachers.  I've had 2 and they were both fantastic speech therapists.  It made work a breeze for a couple of months.
