We have a TON to do, and I'm just kind of.....doing everything else, LOL! I need to pull out the bitty clothes, but then it seems like a waste since I don't know where I'm going to put them, so why wash them yet? Same for the PNP/Swing/Bouncer/etc.
About the only thing I'm gonna do is go to Target at some point this week, show them my registry print out, and get my $20 gift card. I also found a 20% off infant item coupon on their website, so I'll be putting that towards the RNP I want. Hoping that a cartwheel coupon will pop up sometime before it expires to earn even more savings.
How did you get a 20 dollar gift card? All I got was a crappy 10% registry completion and there isn't really anything I want!
DQ around here has cheese curds as a side... Seriously, cheese curds and ice cream and my life is complete. Mmmmm....
Also, say a little prayer for my DH tomorrow. He takes the CA Bar exam and if he doesn't pass, I might lose my mind.
What's a cheese curd? I think I've heard of them before, but I've definitely never had one. I'm pretty sure we don't have them here.

@-) A cheese curd is the little piece of heaven intermingled between French fries and gravy in a poutine. Eaten on its own, it's a very squeaky-sounding cheese when chewed...and fucking DELICIEUX!
Definition: Cheese curds in cuisine, or cooking, are the solid parts of soured milk either eaten alone or used in various regional dishes, mostly in Quebec and the northeastern and midwestern United States.

Seriously?! This does not sound very appetizing.
I had no idea that that's what it actually was. All I know is that they're amazing. The good stuff squeaks like styrofoam, which also probably sounds unappetizing. However, it's amazing. But then again I'm Canadian, and I'm pretty sure you have to love cheese curds here. It's sad though because being on the west coast our cheese curds are nowhere near as amazing as the real stuff from Quebec. When people go to Quebec I make them bring some back for me. Try it one day - but don't think of it as sour milk curds. Because that's gross.
---------------------------------------------------------------------- We love our cheese curds here in midwest Murrica too. A&W (fast food burger chain) has them as an alternative to fries...They're breaded and fried like mozzarella sticks, only better... And when they're all hot and melty in the middle... MMMMMMMMMM. Cheesy squeaky melty salty deliciousness.
Got a sample pack in the mail from The Honest Company. They had a lotion and a "healing balm" that said was for irritated, sensitive skin. Decided to have DH try the balm on my belly, as the ingredients read like some Shea butter mixes I see marketed for stretch marks, and the belly has been pretty itchy lately. DH squeezes some out and starts rubbing, and we get more and more confused . . . It's really thick, and not spreading like I expected. So I go online to see ideas for use, and sure enough, it's diaper cream. I just had DH rub diaper rash cream all over my torso. Awesome. At least I'm pretty sure I won't be itchy tomorrow.

I'm with ya sister! Almost 2am and here I am writing haikus on TB.

I can sleep until 3 or 4 but then I have to get up and sit up/move around for awhile because my body is SO sore from trying to sleep. No matter what position I'm in. I never imagined sleep would make me feel so bad!!
I don't like going to sleep at night either. It is just not pleasant. I wake up every 2 hours to pee and I think I have crushed all the cartilage in my ears from sleeping on my side and am convinced I have torn every muscle and ligament in my lower left abdomen. My husband woke up at 4:45 to go run football workouts and I was already awake with shin splints. Seriously shins? I haven't done anything marginally athletic enough lately to get shin splints.
I think I have to stay off my facebook feed for a few days. Huge protests going on in Iceland right now and while I totally agree with them, its just too negative for me. And I can't vote anyway. So, maybe its time for a bubble?
Though it was entertaining when our minister of foreign affairs said Malta is not an autonomous country and that Europe is in the midst of famine right now. /rant

There have been other answers, but seriously-you have no idea how good cheese curds are.
I have no idea why it's better than a normal mozarella stick, but it is! The cheese is super gooey and the batter is more smooth than breaded-almost like a beer batter instead of crumbs. Obviously cheese curds differ from place to place, but I grew up in Minnesota and Wisconsin and the cheese curds there cannot be beat. In Kentucky they are more like bite sized mozzarella sticks, but if it's fried and cheesy I'm eating it. I think around here the only places that have them are DQ and Culvers, and yes I will go to both and only order the cheese curds (and probably an ice cream).
Thanks for the T&Ps everyone. This is so incredibly hard but I am just trying to remember what a happy girl she was and be grateful I could spend so much time with her towards the end. At least the house won't feel so empty for long, right?
Took the words right out of my mouth @jellysparkles and @CollenSwerb. Pardon my snark, but no, what you are experiencing is not normal - only every other pregnant woman has felt tired, and potentially you could be in labor, but honestly, how the heck are we supposed to know?! I can't take another two months of this stupid...
Hope everyone's day started better than mine! Mine began with my 2 year old in his crib, covered in poop. Apparently he decided to take his diaper off at some point. Yup this is what you have to look forward too.
@imnatari I wouldn't say they are efficient but they'll get it in one box if they can. Unless it comes in it's own box. Then they just ship it in that.
anyone ordered a really large order from bru? are they efficent order packers? Im curious to see how many boxes im going to end up with on my porch from UPS when my registry completion order arrives.
Im sure the UPS guy already hates us because of the amount of amazon orders we make... and the guy at the cardboard station at the town dump thinks were hoarders.
My huge bru order was shipped from three different warehouses so I got three boxes but one of them was a huge box with out 20 items.

@ImnAtari I have received multiple boxes via multiple shipping companies on different days, all from the same order. All of the bedding was in one box and came USPS, the extra car seat base came a few days later from UPS, and there was another box for that order too.
Our mailman and delivery guys have hated us since I started planning a wedding and shopping online years ago. I think there have been a few days that we have had 2 separate UPS trucks come and deliver things (but that is their fault for not being organized).

I ordered like 8 things and got it in 3 packages. Mind you it was a boppy cover, 4 sheets, 2 sets of hangers and something else so it's not like it needed to be split up.
I have 26 items coming... i have this picture in my head from the santa claus when he gets the naughty / nice list delivered to his house!! My neighbors openly judge us for our packages... I should just shop in a store like a normal person (
Meh, they're just jealous.
the guy who lives across the street told my husband his wife thinks were terrorists because of the amount of packages we receive. DH says he was kidding, Im not so sure.
You can't have any more than my neighbor across the street. The UPS man is there every day picking up about 10-15 packages. Granted, he ships a ton of stuff for work. (I don't remember what he does out of his house now, but I know it's normal and boring.) My dog enjoys it though - the UPS guy tosses him a cookie if he's outside when the truck stops!
I'm in the gym at work just walking on the treadmill and theree are a bunch of news stations on. One of these stations is discussing a story about medicine and pregnancy bla bla bla scare tactic but they are showing a lot of belly shots of women who are barely barely showing. I want to send them a pic of my belly and be all like, "no this is what a really pregnant woman looks like, ass."

Ugh. I am annoyed with that story. It's about tylenol use during pregnancy being linked to ADHD. Correlation does not equal causation bitches--just quit it stupid news people. Thanks for giving us pregnant ladies something else to worry or feel guilty about.
Also, the pregnant "models" make me stabby.
I'm just going to send them this picture in my portfolio, it will be titled "real pregnancy."
they have been trying to tie a lot of things in pregnancy to increased rates of ADHD. I feel like every time i turn around theyre telling me another thing im doing to cause one thing or another in my unborn child.
can we outlaw the things I dont want to do, like work or pump gas instead? lets do some studies about that...

Folding/putting away laundry causes ADHD.
I hear sweeping floors and working with stupid coworkers causes ADHD.
