Enjoying the last quiet, calm Christmas we will ever have. I got a snoggle pillow last night and it's the first time I've slept since being pregnant... I'm thanking sweet baby Jesus for that one. In other news, I'm bored. No work, Internet is out, and nothing is open. Now what?!

LO must be excited that it's Christmas as well; my belly keeps wiggling. I think it's time to feed him some Christmas cookies by proxy.

Merry Christmas ladies! My puppy and I are still sitting here in Pacific time waiting for my lazy bones husband to get out of bed! Poor pups, he keeps sniffing at all the bones sticking out of his stocking I'm just glad to have these quiet moments at home feeling baby girl kick as I drink my coffee and reflect on all the amazing changes I've been thru this year...new city, new job, new house, new marriage, new puppy and baby on the way! Wow! I've always been a woman of extremes lol. Hope everyone has a lovely day with time to reflect

AW-ness ahead.

I just love seeing the fruit in my ticker change! I would have thought that I'd get more and more nervous the closer I get to 29 weeks (when DD was born), but I think I'm actually getting more confident that I will make it to term/closer to term this time. I hope it stays that way.

I saw a baby in church this morning that looked to be around 9 months old.  I was so distracted during mass thinking about how different next Christmas will be in the best of ways.  To think our little ones will be crawling around, trying to eat the wrapping paper and having more fun with the boxes than the toys.  I can't wait!

My kid is an oddball; she's never cared about the paper or boxes! Maybe her brother will be the normal one (by baby standards).

Merry Christmas!  We went to church at midnight last night, came home and watched Elf, and fell asleep.  I planned to sleep in today until 10 or 11.  That would have given me an awesome 7 or so hours of sleep. 

I woke up to flutters and kicks at 7am instead. 

This kid is hilarious.  Hilarious, and grounded as soon as she's born.

I told the dog this will probably be her last Christmas - next year there will be a baby, and no one will remember the dog. Poor thing! Santa brought her tons of presents, and she was so excited. Here she is mouthing off to me about having to sit for a picture!

DH and I randomly decided to road trip across the west! We have 5 days we're gonna get a onsie in each town we stop in. :x we will to stop in park city to see family and ski (well DH is I'm going to shop)

I got baby related stuff only because I couldn't think of tons of things I wanted or needed! I got a good mix of stuff for me and babe! DH got some sports related baby stuff but it was a good mix!

Braxton hicks make me feel like I have an uncontrollable need to pee ASAP. I don't like them. Didn't have them with dd or DS, and not enjoying them now haha.

Nope I haven't gotten one either yet--you aren't alone! Luckily I bought some for DH to open so it's still fun baby stuff. My SIL got me a random selection of baby clothes that are cute but will be totally out of season. Looks like my son will be wearing snowman PJs from April-June?

So my husband bought me the back and belly huge pregnancy pillow. Well after he saw mine and tried it out, he bought himself one! So now we have these 2 huge pillows fighting for space on the bed. Thank heavens we have a king size bed. Shhh don't tell....he would kill me if he knew other people knew.....lol!

No baby gifts here, although I did get a bunch of maternity clothes which was great! DH got me a yoga set and signed me up for a prenatal yoga class - I'm psyched about that the most since it'll make me feel better and get me out of the house for some me time!

We mainly got baby things since I probably won't have a shower and don't need anything personally. My dad got a remote control helicopter and has been tormenting the dogs all day. Quite hilarious.

Saw American Hustle, turns out the theater is packed on Christmas Day! But I doubt we will see a movie on Christmas for a very long long. It was good, the acting was amazing but it wasn't as funny as I thought it would be.

Now I'm in bed. The day after Christmas always makes me a little bummed. Hope you all had a fabulous day!

I almost lost my shit today when MIL said "well once you gave this baby, you'll have to come visit us more". Um, NO, you will have to drive the six hours to come see us more (they haven't been to our place in almost 2 years). Thank God DH was there to calmly explain that to her. Ugh!

This is exactly what my fil said the other day! We've lived driving distance from them for almost 3 years and they've never visited us. No way I'm driving up there if you won't come here!

I'm getting one on 1/10 because he didn't cooperate enough at our AS. Otherwise I don't think I'm supposed to. DH got me a 3D/4D for Xmas so I know I'll have at least one more opportunity after our scheduled one to see little man.

How does that work? Where do you go for it!

I only got the two. I only get one more if they think the baby is breech and want to try to turn him. But, look on the bright side, you get to see the real deal in the not too distant future!!! Way better than the kinda fuzzy us :-D

The only baby related Christmas gifts we got were 2 outfits from a friend of mine and a baby blanket from MIL. I don't mind, there will be plenty of time for baby gifts :-) I got a snoogle from my sister, a crock pot from my mom and DH got me a GORGEOUS diamond and emerald set of earrings to match the pendant he got me for our first anniversary. He did good ladies :-) Hope everyone else had a wonderful Christmas as well!

That's the common situation, yes, unless you are at risk for any sort of complications. (That's the only reason I'm getting extra ultrasounds. I have one a month until baby is born to keep tabs on growth and probably to check the uterine arteries.)

Really? I have to ask my doctor about this. I swear I remember them telling me we would get one more around 34 weeks to check everything and see her position...I could be wrong though...
