I remember being tired during my previous pregnancies, but the exhaustion I’m experiencing now is next level. I was supposed to teach the preschoolers at church last night because the regular leader was on spring break and visiting her family, but I fell asleep almost as soon as I got home from work and slept until 6:30 this morning. Luckily there was a second person scheduled with me and everything went smoothly for them, but I feel so bad.
ugh @UnwritteN12 that's the worst!!! I have a handful of ruined smells and foods from past pregnancies and it stinks when it happens to the good stuff.
5 weeks today, only real true blue symptom has been cramping and fullness in my uterus. I've had a few nights where I've gone to bed queasy but thats it. In my previous pregnancies the morning sickness hit at week 6 so I'm counting my blessings while I can
I almost threw up when I took a bite of spaghetti with meat sauce today… couldn’t even swallow it… so there’s that 😩 food aversions are coming along, nausea is becoming more frequent. I’m so tired and so thirsty alllll the time!
@unwritteN12 I couldn’t even look at eggs and bacon when I was pregnant with my oldest lol. And I worked at a coffee shop that was famous for their breakfast sandwiches. I almost died 😂
I almost threw up in one of my raised beds the other morning while I was watering my garden. The nausea is intense but tolerable. With my first two I was throwing up non stop so if it’s just this, I can handle it 😅 I’m just praying that it doesn’t progress.
It’s the fatigue for me this go around. I had it with my girls but it’s like nothing else this time. It doesn’t help that the nausea is at its worst in the night so it’s hard to sleep. So during the day I just struggle!
My lower abdominal muscles are definitely feeling some pulling too.
Started feeling some odd pressure "down there" last night that I don't remember having until much later on during my previous pregnancies, so that threw me off. After a bunch of google searching it seems that it can be pretty normal even in early pregnancy, it's just much sooner than I remember. Not painful or anything just distinct pressure.
@UnwritteN12 oh man. I feel you. It was eggs my first pregnancy. Couldn’t stand the thought of them. I was okay in pregnancy 2 - but I swear I smelled some raw egg the other day after my husband cooked French toast and I was ready to 🤢

My blood sugars keep dropping and it's so frustrating. I had this issue with my other pregnancies as well so it's not surprising. I just hate it. One minute I'm fine and the next I'm shaky and can't focus. At least this time around I'm wearing a continuous glucose monitor (CGM) so my phone alerts me when I'm starting to go low. Unfortunately that means that my phone is going off once or twice in the middle of the night and waking me up. 😒😴
Too early for me to test by at least a few days but for the past two nights I have been completely unable to sleep. Anyone else dealing with insomnia? I’m hoping it’s a good sign that baby will stay this month 🤞🏼
I am beyond exhausted this week. Trying to teach a classroom of kids each day, I pretty much come home straight after work every night and nap haha. Any tips?
@tayla678 the fatigue is rough! Sometimes if I force myself to do something outside for a few minutes instead of sitting down I can muster up a little more energy lol. But usually by the time I get dinner finished I’m falling asleep standing up 😂
my sense of smell is next level haha I’m nervous it’s going to give me away at work. I came back from a long meeting and was like hmmm what’s the smell is that a sub? And my coworker was like yeah I had one for lunch three hours ago 😂
I have been bursting into tears at random ish every day this week. Yesterday I was bawling my eyes out watching a video of Taylor Swift greeting a fan and being nice. I cry a lot as it is but dang, I am an emotional wreck right now lol.
I'm finding I can't drink plain ol' tap water, everything tastes like soap. As if the cup wasn't rinsed well enough, even if I rinse the sh*t out of it before I fill it. Thank god for the Mio squirts and the Bubly syrups for my soda stream, those are saving me right now.
Also, the night sweats. I'm cold all the time so I bundle up at night, but then I wake up in a pool of sweat.

I will be 5 weeks tomorrow. I am experiencing food aversions and very low appetite. The only thing I want to eat is sour fruit. Meat is really grossing me out, and I have had bits of nausea the past couple days. Sore boobs and the fatigue is real!!
@babette-ate-oatmeal interesting your morning sickness is worse at night! it's the opposite for me, my nausea is horrible in the morning (but consistently sucky all day).
Anyone else have a time of day where their nausea is worse?
I've definitely been experiencing more nausea this time around than in my previous pregnancies. It's not extreme, and for the most part I'm keeping food down, but it's enough to make me feel gaggy and icky throughout the day, mostly afternoon and evening. My OB recommended me taking unisom and B-6 to help with it, so I'm giving that a try today.
I’m 6 weeks today and yesterday, i was like nauseous but not nauseous at the same time 😂 and today, i don’t feel pregnant. First trimester anxiety is wild.
I’m 7w3d right now and the nausea and fatigue have been super intense since 5 weeks. On the one hand, I’m so thankful. Due to my history, that is a very good sign for me. On the other hand, I’m so frustrated. We have a mini homestead. I am extremely active. This is go season for me. I’ve got plants to up pot, seeds to start and plant. Chickens to take care of and so many other chores to prepare for the summer garden season. I’m just so discouraged by how limited I feel no matter how hard I fight it. It’s just frustrating to feel like crap every single day. Okay I’m done whining now. I am super thankful, but I’m ready to not feel like I’m going to vomit if I move too quickly
@Kiek I'm sorry - I'm so with you if it makes you feel any better. I can't be productive either because I feel like such crap every day, and it's hard not to feel frustrated, depressed, and angry with myself that I let myself succumb to the symptoms. I haven't yet found something to make me feel better other than laying down and it's driving me insane.
If my body could make up its mind about how to feel, that'd be fantastic! I felt pretty darn good the past 2 days. Productive even! Today I'm back to feeling nauseous, bloated and crampy. I just want to get through this first trimester.
@runsoncoffee Right?! This is #5 for us too and I'm feeling the fatigue more than i did with the others. Starting to wonder if I can ship them off to my parents for the summer....🤔
I've been EXHAUSTED! That's my main symptom. I have been just a little nauseous here and there and actually got sick once. This week has started with me having some food aversions that come and go. My boobs are sore too. My first pregnancy was so easy and my second was really hard with being constantly sick the entire time, not being able to eat and major hip and back pain so if this pregnancy stays like this then I'm good. I'm trying to savor each moment of this pregnancy as it's our last so trying to look at the bright side of things.
