@krash_ I too have an amazing BMB from my first. A group of us were going rent an airbnb last summer in FL before the pandemic hit. Hoping this can be another great group especially with all the MN moms in here

That would be amazing, my last bmb there we only 3 of us from minnesota and they lived 3 hrs away so didn’t see them often. Lots from Iowa though so we did a “Midwest meetup” every summer until last summer!
@justyouraveragemama I was the only MN mom in the group that went to FB. There was a WI and a couple IA so no one close enough to really meet-up with. We did have a midwest meet-up once in IA
Hi! I’m due with baby #4 on 9/3. The day after Christmas I felt a little funky and realized I was not having typical monthly cramps. Took a test and surprise!
I have a small farm, too many animals to list ha! My hubby and I are excited for our little bean sprout. 4 was always our dream # of children!

I did that with my first BMB too! A few girls flew in and we all met in the cities and rented a place together. It was so much fun
I thought I was out this cycle so I tested a few days early so DH could be around to console me this time. Turns out I was surprising him instead!
I'm currently a SAHM, 2 kiddos, one 3.5 and 1.5. I was hoping to return part time to my job as a substitute teacher but COVID hit right when I was going to end my leave. Now it looks like I'll be on leave for next year too, lol! We're on the west coast and have been putting up with some crazy rain for the last month or two but today was beautiful sunshine and such perfect timing to find out the news!
Hi all! I’m due with baby 3 on 9/11 (ish). I have 2 girls - a 2.5 year old and a 9 month old so our lives will be chaos for a while! My husband and I live in Northwestern Ontario and we just got a puppy in September, so we are doing alllll of the hiking these days. Can’t wait !!
Hi ladies! I'm so happy to join this group, I've been impatiently waiting to see the results from my blood work last week!
Due date? September 15
How did you find out? Tested about 5 day before when I expected my period and it was totally negative, but I wasn't entirely convinced; my last cycle was very early so I wasn't as sure when my next would be, and I'd been feeling lousy. Tested again a few days later (last Monday) and the test was positive before I even turned it over to wait so I assumed it was defective lol but got 2 more BFPs over the next 2 days, all of them showing up almost instantly. I'm honestly shocked, we just started trying again; it took about 9 months for me to get pregnant with my first so I did not expect to get pregnant on our first go this time.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I'm 34, my husband is 39, and we have a son who's 18 months. We live just north of Toronto, Ontario, with our (okay, my) misbehaving cat. I opted not to go back to work after my maternity leave so I'm now a SAHM, but previously worked in health care regulation. I love to read (34 books last year, thanks to all the staying home!), am addicted to tea, I usually have an organizing project in progress, and am fairly involved with my church.
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) Feeling mostly good, but definitely have more noticeable nausea than I did during my first pregnancy. Otherwise just tired and bit irritable, but mostly feeling good and looking forward to my first ultrasound next month!
ETA: I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you! I still chat with a group of ladies from my June'19 BMB so looking forward to being part of another community for this pregnancy!
Hi everyone! I was a member of the BMB for my 2 other kiddos, and I am happy to have support as well as give support again!
Due date? Based on using the due date calculator, we are looking at September 19th, 2021.
How did you find out? Well. I started having weird brown spotting a day before period was supposed to start. Then a day or 2 later, still no period, just brown spotting. I had a pregnancy test in my closet, so I figured I would test to just see what's happening. Well, it was positive! My husband was home. I walked out and just handed it to him and said, "There are 2 lines." in total shock. I was NOT expecting a positive. I was shaking sooo much. He hugged me, and told me to call my doctor. I then went to buy a couple more tests just to "make sure". And they were positive too.
This is very very surprising. I have been taking my birth control exactly as I should. Never missed a day. I have a small fear in my heart that this could be an ectopic pregnancy. Because stupid google says if you get pregnant while on the mini pill, it's most likely ectopic. I have no control over this, so all I can do is take it one day at a time. My doctor can get me in tomorrow (1.13.21) to test. I have no idea if she suspects ectopic, or if she is going to check for it. But I have a feeling she may. Especially if I bring my concerns to her attention.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) My husband and I have been married since 10.27.13. We TTC our first for 14 months. We were just about to start looking into fertility treatments, until we got pregnant. My DS was born 8.16.16. We TTC our 2nd for about 4 months, and I experienced 1 CP during that time. I was doing all the things to try. Basal body temping, ovulation kits. You name it. It worked and my DD was born 12.26.18. I am a stay at home mom. My husband is in sales. We currently have no pets. We are gamers, video games, board games, PC games, VR. We are kinda nerds when it comes to that. We love LoTR and Star Wars. Just a family of 4 doing our thing. Getting our of debt. (Dave Ramsey style).
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) I am SO TIRED. Exhaustion actually started before I even thought I was pregnant, and now it makes sense! I was falling asleep on the couch around 3pm everyday for a few days, which was so unlike me. Other than that, no symptoms. I am feeling a bit scared about this maybe being ectopic, but I am trying to distract myself. I am also still so shocked that it was so difficult to get pregnant with our first, a little less hard with our 2nd, and now I don't even try and I am taking contraceptives and somehow I am pregnant. Of course we are thrilled, and we are very excited and I know how blessed we are. We just have to adjust our plans and goals. Haha. My first appointment is tomorrow, and I am counting down the minutes until I can get confirmed viability.
How did you find out? I took a test last night! I was feeling discouraged that it wasn’t going to happen this month, but in the past 5 days 2 of my coworkers and 1 of my neighbors told me they were pregnant and I took it as a sign that I needed to test! I’m a strict “don’t test until your missed period” girl and broke my own rule and tested one day early, but I’m glad I did!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) My name is Emily. I’m 33. I live in central Wisconsin. I work in special education- I’m only part time this year. In addition I am the assistant cross country and track coach at the school I work in. I hope to continue running throughout the pregnancy! DH and I are high school sweethearts and have been married for 10 years. He is an orthopedic surgeon. We have 3 daughters- DD1 is 7, DD2 is 4 (5 in March), and DD3 is 2 1/2. *TW- I’ve had two chemical pregnancies in the past- one in Sept 2017 and one in Nov 2020.* We have two Vizslas- both are 11. I’m a big reader (always taking recommendations!). I’ve watched The Office from beginning to end at least 8 times. I just started getting into podcasts (also taking recommendations!). And I’m really looking forward to getting to know you all!
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) I’m feeling pretty good. Some mild cramping and a little nausea. I had horrible morning sickness with my 3 girls so I’m expecting it to come on strong any day. I called to schedule my first appointment, but they require all patients to have blood work confirming the pregnancy before they will schedule an appointment (I’ve never had to do that before!) so I have my blood draw on Thursday.
I feel a little hesitant to even make an introduction here at the moment; I'm 34, have a healthy 3 year old at home with us, and I just got a call last week from my annual doctor's visit that my bloodwork shows I'm pregnant. It's very early, I'd probably be due about September 25, so I thought I might as well find this forum to get a little mental support before my ultrasound on February 1. It's a 6 week scan to see if we've got viable/healthy activity in there. We've been trying for about 7 months; some months more than others, since the pandemic and having a small child at home doesn't always make you enthusiastic about scheduling intercourse, but the early news still came as a surprise. Trying to stay calm and neutral in the coming weeks until we know more!
My husband and I started trying in November, so we started testing around when I thought I should get my period.
We have one son(Isaac) who is two years old, and 2 cats. We live in Ontario. I work for a lawn care company and my husband is a pizza chef, and a producer. We are both musicians. We love hosting dinner parties and playing board games but obviously Covid case affected that part of our lives.
My first appointment is today for a blood test and to pick up my requisition for the first ultrasound. My boobs are super sore, I have had pretty persistent but mild nausea, I get cluster headaches every night around 5pm and have been absolutely ravenous. I forgot how scary the first trimester is. I am scared of miscarriage and just waiting to be past this first phase of pregnancy.
Hi everyone! Super excited to be joining you all! I got my BFP yesterday, due 9/23 based on lmp. My husband and I have 2 boys already 4 (July, 16) and 1 (May, 19). We haven’t told the kids yet but I know my 4 year old will be so excited. He’s been asking for a new baby for months now. I am became a SAHM after minion 2 was born but occasionally teach an online class when my old boss needs me to.
My family and I just bought our forever home on 9 acres this summer and planned on adding chickens and goats this spring/summer along with a large garden.
Hi September Mamas! I'm Liz, 33 years old from New Jersey. This is my 2nd pregnancy. DD Indie was born March 2019 and I still keep in touch with some people from that Bump group! I am a SAHM and I run a lifestyle blog on the side which makes some spending money and gives me lots of cool perks and free products. DH's name is Stephen and we have 2 dogs, Percy & Zoey. I love to take (and edit) photos. Super excited because it took 8 cycles to conceive Indie and this time it happened on the first shot! EDD is September 17th according to Internet Due Date Calculator. Doctor's appointment to confirm the pregnancy is January 29th. As for how I'm feeling - so far so good. Mild cramping and some mid-day fatigue. With Indie I had a relatively sleepy but easy first trimester, so I'm hoping for the same this time around. *TW* - With Indie I had a traumatic birth, finding out she had a rare set of birth defects that went undetected until she was born. She had to be transferred to another hospital and had life-saving surgery at 30 hours old. So I have an added layer of anxiety this time around, wondering if everything will be OK and trying not to dwell on what happened. We've done in-depth testing and it doesn't seem her situation is genetic. We've been given the green light to have more children and here we are! She is thriving unbelievably now Super excited to be here!
Edited because it posted twice. Sorry guys. It's also supposed to be a different username this time around. I'll get this all figured out. Messages from me may change to RunningOnIndie.
Joining in at the tail end of the month here! Due date by LMP should be 9/27.
How did you find out? We have been trying for a few months now and I started temping this month. My temp was staying high so I decided to test this morning and it was positive! Just tested again and tStill super early so joining in a bit hesitantly but fingers crossed.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I’m 31 and so is my husband. We live in Pennsylvania. I work part time as a dietitian and he is an electrical lineman - travels occasionally but so far mostly on the east coast! We have two boys, age 5 and 2.5. They’re a handful and I’m sure my MIL will be questioning our sanity at having a 3rd. The older one is going to be delighted (he’s been asking for more brothers 😳). The younger one is a bit of a mama baby so not sure how he’ll take it! I love cooking, baking, gardening, and reading. I’m a sucker for a romantic story although I’ve been reading some spooky stuff lately. We have a cat and we’re currently building a house!
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) I’m still honestly a bit shocked even though we’ve been trying. I ovulated later than I thought so thought we missed the window! I’ve been nauseous on and off so far. No appointment yet, I’m not sure where I want to go for care yet.
So excited to be here and meet everybody! I kept close with my previous BMB and hope to do the same here
Due date? Maybe 9/20 if I go by my last period, 9/16 if I go by the (believed to be) conception date.
How did you find out? My first symptom is always insomnia and breakouts...last week I had insomnia every night and started breaking out. I knew we had sex twice unprotected, so I thought I should take a test and viola..2 lines appeared!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)
I live in Colorado with my husband, dog, and 2 crazy boys. My oldest son is 5 and I also have an almost 8 month old baby boy (yes..this was a bit unplanned...and yes we are freaking out).
I teach high school English and absolutely love it! We have been lucky enough to be in person this entire school year with fairly limited cases (only 2 teacher positive cases since Aug.) and no "outbreaks" traced to the school. We actually started talking about the possibility of me staying home after this school year ends because daycare costs here are outrageous - with this new addition I will definitely be staying home which I am excited and nervous about!
We are typical Coloradans in that we love snowboarding, hiking, camping, and hanging out at breweries. I'm actually selfishly upset in that I was pregnant last winter and had to miss out on snowboarding season..and now I'm pregnant again and only was able to get up the mountains once this year. I also spend most of my "alone" time reading, binging Netflix, and I love to cook!
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) So, funny enough, I actually have an appointment scheduled today for a pap and birth control consult... so I'm hoping they will test betas and do a quick check to confirm the pregnancy, but I know I'm still really early so I'm not sure. I'm feeling fine though - My last two pregnancies I experienced no nausea, so I'm hoping this one will be the same! Emotionally...I'm freaking out but hesitantly excited - I'm worried for my husband - he got a bloody nose after I showed him the test..I'm not sure I've fully processed what is happening honestly..
@chewie5990 I've also had insomnia right away, same with my other 2 pregnancies, ugh! And we live near huge mountains as well. We got snowshoes in 2016 when I was pregnant with DD and have only been able to use them maybe 4 or 5 times due to having kiddos/being pregnant. Totally understand the frustration!
Hi everyone! I just took a digital test and got my positive test a couple days ago. I'm due September 25, which coincidentally happens to be my birthday as well so we'll see how that works out.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I have 2 little boys ages 10 and 2 and a bernedoodle pup named Moose. I work as a respiratory therapist in a hospital setting and my husband and I have been married for 4.5 years.
How are you feeling? *TW* Feeling a bit anxious as I had a previous miscarriage at 17 weeks (also a little boy) so just hoping this one sticks and is healthy. Wouldn't mind adding a sweet little girl to my brood, but would be stoked either way. I'm not having any symptoms and luckily my pregnancies have been super easy as far as symptoms go so hoping this one is the same.
How did you find out? My husband and I were TTC so I was actively testing every day. I ended up finding out three days before my period was due (and I've still been testing on a daily basis just to see that second line get darker day by day!).
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I have a three year old girl and a two year old boy. We originally planned on having the same age gap between all of our children (18 months between my 1st and 2nd) but I went through a depression last year, as I'm sure many of us did, and we decided being pregnant at that time would not be healthy for any of us. However once we decided that yes, we were ready for our family to grow, we managed to conceive on our first month of trying.
I am in many ways a typical SAHM. I love baking, taking the kids to the park, going to cafes, having playdates (although we had to cut back on that an awful lot in 2020.. truly we barely left the house at all and still don't get to go out much). In my spare time I like to read, play animal crossing, and watch tv (I particularly like historical shows as I absolutely love fashion history. Bridgerton on Netflix was so much fun to watch, even though the costumes were very creative for the time period).
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) My first appointment is booked but won't be until I'm in my 9th week. No major symptoms, although my breasts have already started to become painfully sensitive again. I'd managed to forget most of the boob pain regarding pregnancy and breast feeding, but the memories sure are coming back now. Emotionally, I'm nervous. Whilst I'm excited for our family to grow, and I know we have everything prepared for both the short and long term inside of our own home, I'm still worried about the general state of the world. I'm worried about getting sick, our children getting sick, our parents getting sick etc. The idea of going in and out of hospital at the moment really terrifies me. Becoming depressed due to isolation again is also a big worry of mine, even though I've taken active steps to prevent that from happening once more. I'm worried about the division in the world, police brutality, domestic terrorism, honestly I am worried that the entire notion of having a child at this time is simply selfish, which is why we waited so long to start trying again. I am trying my best to simply focus on the things I can control. I love my children, I love my husband, I love our home. This child will enter into the world planned and prepared for and deeply wanted. I just hope that that want isn't a foolish one.
Due date? A little confusion in my cycle so I am not sure. Based on last period I am due early sept but we were actually trying to avoid pregnancy this cycle so did not DTD until later in the month so I probably had a super late ovulation like day 30. So we are looking at ~September 22nd
How did you find out? I started testing around day 38, and kept getting negatives, but I knew something was up. Today day 44, received a faint line on dye test and a not pregnant on digital. Will test again in the morning.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I live in Texas with my husband who is a paramedic, my 6 year old daughter, and 3 and 1.5 year old sons. We experienced a first trimester twin loss summer 2018, and I am feeling really nervous about this pregnancy, but trying to keep all the positive vibes. I work for a tech company.
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) even though we were trying to avoid a pregnancy, I am so happy for this new life. I have no symptoms really yet. The unknown of the first trimester is so hard, first appointment is not until Jan 29, kind of which I could go sooner. Also a little worried for my husband. He was feeling pretty overwhelmed with 3 littles and I want to protect and acre for him.
@Knottie1424663410 I hear you on the worries of bringing another child into the world with all of the current events and the state of things, it's definitely a unique situation. I'm glad we have this group of moms all experiencing it together.
How did you find out? My husband I had been TTC for over a year. I was actually supposed to have ACL reconstruction surgery done on my knee last month. It was scheduled for when I when I knew I was supposed to be on my period. The day before the surgery, I was like, huh...haven't had my period yet. Took a home pregnancy test and was surprised (but pleasantly) to see it was positive! Needless to say, had to cancel that knee surgery, haha.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) We have a 3 year old son, who is going to be the best big brother. We also have two cats, a dog, and chickens! My husband jokes that we have a zoo.
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) I just had my first ultrasound today, and everything seemed to check out okay (knock on wood). I had a blighted ovum a couple of years before I had my son, so while I am excited, I am paranoids about loss. Trying to enjoy being pregnant and am now getting more excited after seeing my LO on the ultrasound today! Physical symptoms are suuuuper sore boobs, bloating, and nausea. Also fatigue. But generally feel pretty good.
How did you find out? We were trying and just took a test today. Haven’t told my husband.
Tell us about yourself: married for 7 years, 6 year old boy and 3 year old boy. Stay at home mom, wedding planner (umm pandemic took that away)
How are you feeling? I’ve been emotional the past 2 days. Our entire household(me included) is Covid POSITIVE. I’ve been waiting for my BFP so I haven’t been taking any medicine, just vitamins and Tylenol..
How did you find out? I felt really sluggish and realized I didn't have any PMS symptoms (which usually last a week for me!). I took a test...and another. Both were positive. Hubby came home and I told him to grab something on the bathroom counter for me. He screamed more than I did.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) This is our first pregnancy, which is exciting and nerve-wracking. We just moved from NJ to CA at the end of 2020--talk about a lot at once! We had to drive as well because our dog couldn't fly (she's an English Bulldog mix).
BUT I'm a freelance blogger, which allows me a lot of flexibility for appointments. Hubby works for a large delivery company. I'm glad to be here.
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) I'm already nauseous and super tired all the time. Mood swings are HUGE. Holy smokes...I'm trying to get everything set up for a first appointment, but since we just moved here, it's taking longer than I would like.

@Knottie1424663410 I hear you on the worries of bringing another child into the world with all of the current events and the state of things, it's definitely a unique situation. I'm glad we have this group of moms all experiencing it together.

Me too, it's really nice to have people who relate and are in similar circumstances.
Due date? 9/13 according to when I think I ovulated (used clear blue digitals)
How did you find out? Tested super early and got a positive after a few days of testing
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I have a two year old son. I didn't participate in that BMB but I lurked super hard and was bummed when they moved to facebook. I promised myself I'd participate next time.
I teach at a university and I'm very grateful that we are virtual right now. My husband is awesome and a great dad to our kiddo. I got into exercise during quarentine and it's helping keep me sane. I also love trashy reality tv.
First appointment? Any symptoms? Betas look good so far. Fingers crossed. I have an ultrasound on Monday at 6 weeks.
*TW loss - I had an ectopic pregnancy before my son (that actually resulted in a lost tube). Because of that, they do early blood work and an ultrasound to make sure it's in the uterus (if you've had a previous ectopic, you're at a slightly higher risk for another). I also had a blighted ovum in October. *end TW
I am feeling super nauseous. I can't tell if it's worse than last time or just so much harder with a toddler.
I've been lurking and I'm excited to get to know you all!
Re: Introductions!
My hubby and I are excited for our little bean sprout. 4 was always our dream # of children!

BUT I'm a freelance blogger, which allows me a lot of flexibility for appointments. Hubby works for a large delivery company. I'm glad to be here.
Me too, it's really nice to have people who relate and are in similar circumstances.
9/13 according to when I think I ovulated (used clear blue digitals)
Tested super early and got a positive after a few days of testing
I have a two year old son.
