How did you find out? I was feeling pretty crappy yesterday and had a pretty bad headache so I tested last night before bed. It was super faint so I tested this morning again and it was darker.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)
I am Canadian but I live abroad in the Netherlands. I have a 13.5 month old son and a 10 year old dog. Both are absolutely wonderful. My husband is also Canadian. Tomorrow is our 3 year wedding anniversary so I will tell him that I’m pregnant tmr night at dinner. I love baking and cooking, reading when I get the chance, barre, and, most importantly, traveling.
First appointment? Any symptoms?
Trying to schedule it now. Headaches, wave of nausea, heightened smell, sharp boob pains, and exhausted.
@fitzfizz, I just had a feeling between the gross yogurt the other night and the headache. I’m sad to leave TTGP even if I wasn’t there long. But I’ll be stalking to see more of y’all leaving! Feels weird to just leave the board 😅
Due date: I don’t really know. I think maybe June 22. Just had Mirena IUD removed and never had a period.
How did you find out: Took a test October 16th. I got my IUD out September 25th and still hadn’t gotten my period. I know I ovulated September 28th cause I usually feel it. Wasn’t expecting to get pregnant 3 days after my IUD coming out!
About me: I’m 36 so AMA. I’ve been married almost 9 years. We have a 7 1/2 year old son. Just never felt like the right time to have another but decided to go for it. I live in Washington state. I work at a police department. Previously I was an associate registrar at a university. We have 2 cats and 2 dogs. I was doing low carb to lose 25 pounds, was 10 pounds down 15 to go. But an hour after finding out I was pregnant that went out the window.
First appointment in person is November 6th. I have a phone in-take appointment October 30.
I don’t know why I’m so much more nervous this time around. Maybe it’s because I’m older. I was 28 when I was pregnant with my son. I just can’t wait to go in and hear a heartbeat and see everything is going ok.
Hi there. My due date based on LMP is June 30, but I think I ovulated early, based on when we DTD. Let's just say I was VERY surprised to see that BFP.
Period was late by one day. Decided to POAS just because, and was shocked at the dark line.
My husband and I have 3 year old identical twin girls (nov17 bump board, but my girls were born early on September 24). I stay home with them. They're such a delight and I love having twins. Also, they still nurse, so we'll see how they react if milk dries up.
We live in Brooklyn in a small apartment. I kind of want more twins. 😂
Due date: June 30 for now, which also happens to be our 9th wedding anniversary! But baby will most likely arrive mid-June by repeat c-section.
How did you find out: Took a test last Friday (10/16) just for the heck of it and saw a faint line. Been peeing on sticks ever since because I’m so impatient. This morning I got a positive on a digital!
About me: I’m 33 and DH will be 38 in November. We have been married for 8 years and have 2 kiddos. DD is 5 (September 2015) and DS is 2.5 (February 2018). We also have a golden retriever that we adore and he’s 8. I am a SAHM and used to be a third grade teacher. I decided to stay home after my daughter was born.
First appointment is on November 9th.
I’m super excited for #3, but I also have some fears that I am battling. My pregnancy with my daughter was an awesome, textbook pregnancy. My son was a totally different story. We found out at his 20 week u/s that he had 3 spots on his liver and we had to go for ultrasounds all the time to check on them. Had genetic testing done to rule out some things, and all was well. The spots ended up just being calcifications. Then at 35 weeks I was diagnosed with cholestasis. He arrived at 37+1 completely healthy. Then when he was 5 weeks old, we ended up in the ER at our local children’s hospital and he was diagnosed with SVT. He spent 2 weeks in the hospital & was on heart medication for a year.
Needless to say, it was a wild ride. I’m hoping and praying for a healthy, uneventful pregnancy this time around!
TTC #1 Since April 2014
Me: 27 | DH: 31
08/2006 - Laparoscopy/Stage 1 Endo
10/2014 - Bloodwork normal, HSG all clear
10/2014 - DH's SA 15mil/mL, 35% motility, 6% morphology
@bklynchica yay and welcome! We just found out we're having twins (fx they both stick). I'm so happy I will have a seasoned twin mom to ask all the questions!
Due date? June 29 (edited, because I can't count 40 weeks properly)
How did you find out? Period was a few days late, so I took a test. The ladies in the TWW dailies over in the TTGP group know that I've been in serious denial the past couple of days, but I finally broke down and tested. I'm not sure I quite made the 3-month cutoff on that board so I haven't shared over there.
Tell us about yourself My husband and I are both 35, been married for 3 years and live in Washington, DC where I work for the government and he does operations analysis in the private sector. We've been trying for a while and have had difficulties (see spoiler for details), but if all goes well this will be our first. We have an old lady cat who's 13 and absolutely loving the fact that we've been teleworking for 8 months so she can have laptime anytime she wants.
**TW** Loss
We've been TTC since June 2018, but in that time I've been pregnant twice (June 2020 and December 2020, I'm apparently on a 6-month rotation). We unfortunately lost both pregnancies, the first a TFMR due to T21 and cystic hygroma and the second to a MMC at 15 weeks. The second loss is still technically unexplained, though in my RPL testing they found that I have a Factor V Leiden mutation so I'm taking baby aspirin to help with blood clotting issues.
I'll admit, this one doesn't feel real yet. When I told me husband I followed up "it was positive" with "but the line isn't that dark, so it may not last". FTR it wasn't a squinter, it's clearly positive, just not a blazing dark line like my prior positives and I'm inherently pessimistic given my losses. I also had some mild cramping last night/this morning which freaked me out. That said, I'm a lot calmer than I expected, though I'm sure I'll have anxiety leading up to the appointments.
First appointment? Any symptoms? On the phone waiting right now, but will probably have a viability scan in four weeks. I generally don't have strong pregnancy symptoms (don't hate me), but noticed the past several days that my sense of smell is more sensitive (if I'm in our bedroom when my husband turns on the stove I can smell the gas, which is not normal), lower appetite, and I'm super bloated. Also had some cramping last night/this morning which scares me a bit, but I do remember having that very early on before
@akoros the PTSD after loss is so difficult. You are certainly not alone on this board and many of us are navigating the anxiety of 'hoping this one sticks'. We all hope this is it for you. :-)

lurking @akoros woohooo! congrats! i'm sure you're feeling a lot of things right now, but hopefully excited and hopeful are up there for you. hoping this is your 🌈!!!!!!
How did you find out? We were trying and I started feeling spacey. I get this word almost dissociative feeling in the first few weeks. Tested and it was positive!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I have one DS (March 2019). We have a 5 month old puppy and a geriatric (but spry!) cat. I am a SAHM. My husband and I are big foodies and typically love to travel. I also like reading a crafting. I've recently been getting into embroidery.
First appointment? Any symptoms? First appointment is October 28th. I have all the symptoms. Luckily I don't throw up too much, but the nausea is constant. And don't get me started on all the digestive issues and insomnia despite being constantly exhausted...
@omama19 I pass out during the day. Extreme exhaustion... but when its time to actually go to bed the INSOMNIA is ridiculous.

Loss and IF veteran. Current mom of DS 5.5, DD 2, and sometimes DH 40. Due June 2021 with TWINS
How did you find out? I took a pregnancy test 12 days post IUI. I’ve had 3 blood draws since that rose appropriately
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I live in Reno, NV and am a CPA. I’ve been with my OH for 12 years (married for 4). I am 30 and he is 31. We have been TTC #1 since April 2018 and have had 2 losses along the way. I have been on fertility treatments for about a year. We have two boxers and one cat.
First appointment? Any symptoms? First ultrasound is 10/29/2020. Only very mild symptoms, I wish I had more considering my history!
@ivydawn welcome. Once you’ve dealt with loss and/or infertility, it makes pregnancy so much harder because of the constant mind fuck. If you have no/mild symptoms you wish you had more as some sort of signal that the pregnancy was progressing. If you get all the symptoms/intense symptoms you feel bad about complaining because you know what a struggle it Is, and you’ll accept anything If it means a take home baby.
Glad to have you and I have have everything crossed for you that this will be a successful pregnancy

@bklynchica Hi, it's so encouraging for me to hear you had twins first and you want more. I am ftm about to go from zero to two and not sure what to expect. But if you liked it that much, so can I! Congrats on your pregnancy
How did you find out? POAS yesterday, which happened to be 4 days after we went to our first appointment with a fertility doctor. We had been trying for several months but I’m old (almost 39) and time is of the essence, as they say. My doctor is apparently really good 😂
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I’m a SAHM with two boys (almost 4 and 2) and I regularly go out of my mind trying to keep the house cleanish while homeschooling the older kid. I used to be a high school history and economics teacher and I miss it terribly. We also have two miniature schnauzers to add to the mayhem around here. DH is 40 in a couple days... we live in the SF Bay Area, I like crocheting and watching way too much political news. I also volunteered a ton in the past 18 months with some campaigns.
First appointment? Any symptoms?
Haven’t called yet! I’m bloated as hell. I usually can’t stand coffee during my first trimester, but that hasn’t kicked in yet, so my Nespresso is getting a workout until it does.
Hi. Definitely nervous to be here. Wasn’t planning to be here
Due date? Based on LMP 6/21
How did you find out? 2 tests today. The first was this morning but was left over from 2016. So I thought I can’t trust it Bc I didn’t know if it was possibly expired. So got another one.... and also positive 🤷🏻♀️
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I’m 34, married for 13 years. We have a 10 year old and a 4 year old. I was part of the N16 group for my youngest, but she was 9 weeks early. My first was 3 weeks early, so I’m hoping this one doesn’t follow this trend. I am a physician in Tampa and prior to pandemic we were at the theme parks regularly. My husband is a shipping coordinator for a veterinary hospice service. We have 3 cats.
My husband had a vasectomy in Feb 2018, so this was definitely a surprise. I finally reached my weight loss goal (normal BMI for the first time since high school), but have been having acne chronically. Thought maybe my IUD was contributing, so had it removed in August. First period in Sept in 4 or 5 years. Didn’t notice that I didn’t have one (currently 2 weeks late) due to not having them for so long. My boobs were sore last week and I thought it meant my period would be starting soon... and it didn’t. Then I thought I should test just in case, but should wait til first morning urine... and forgot until today. Then promptly started freaking out.
First appointment? No appointment yet. I need to contact my ob office, but will also likely need to switch to find one where I can deliver at a closer hospital.
Any symptoms? The sore boobs were the most obvious, but on reflection have had some constipation, chronic hunger, and extreme fatigue.
@angelz429 this must be a total shock to you and your H. Welcome to June 2021! I can only imagine all of the emotions and feelings you are having right now.
@klj0228 yes. Lots of emotions. My reaction was shock then later crying. Luckily my husband’s was a full on laughter until tears because, you know, 2020. Which brought the attention to our 10 & 4 year olds....who now now, even though it’s too soon to tell anyone.... that there’s a baby. This has been helpful, surprisingly, because my 4yo (Brielle) is super curious about it all. What’s even weirder... like 2 or 3 weeks ago she asked me if I had a baby in my belly 😳 and it’s very possible I did!
Hi Everyone! Just joined this app since I decided I didn't like the first one I tried.
Due date? June 11
How did you find out? Took a test a few days before days before my period was due because I couldn't stand to wait any longer and it was positive!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I'm 33 years old, my husband is 36. We just moved to a new city and decided it was finally time to start trying since we're more settled. We were incredibly lucky and got pregnant quickly. I love to read and hike with our 9 year old dog.
First appointment? Any symptoms? I have a telehealth appointment tomorrow, first in person appointment is November 6. Symptoms have been annoying so far but not terrible: nausea, sore breasts, fatigue.
How did you find out? We've been trying for 6 months. I thought my period was just acting weird and that I definitely wasn't pregnant this month, but then all of a sudden there it was, a faint little line! Now today (1 week later) it's a big bold line and I have my 3rd blood test to confirm good hormone levels tomorrow. Fingers crossed!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)First appointment? Any symptoms?
I'm 37 and my guy is 29. This will be our first baby. We both work from home and have lots of pets and plants. We are big kids at heart, so much of our time is taken up making toys, art and playing games. We had a miscarriage at 5 weeks on our first try and a chemical pregnancy our second try, but we're very hopeful that this one's sticking because this is the farthest I've really been able to go with rising levels! I also had another miscarriage and chemical pregnancy before this relationship via iui. It's been a journey, for sure. So far, I'm feeling pretty pregnant, even though it's still quite early. I'm hungry as can be and I have to pee all the time and my boobs are very sore and I have mild round ligament pain most of the time. I'm also a little queezy here and there and very exhausted so am taking it extremely easy, per our doctors recommendations due to my age and prior losses. I have a really good feeling about the blood test tomorrow because my pee test looks way darker than it did a few days ago. :)
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) No children or pets and this is our first! Nervous and excited at the same time!
First appointment? Any symptoms? Our appointments is coming up the second week of November. No morning sickness yet but I a really dry mouth for almost the entire day. Drinking lots of water!!
Due date? May 30th but pretty sure this baby will be late so I'm getting to know all the June mama's too! 😂
How’d you find out? I was tracking my ovulation through LH levels so at 9dpo I took a test and was surprised with a BFP!
Tell us about yourself:
Other children/pets? Son, 4th October 2018
Job? Special Educator and Case Manager
Things you like to do? Walk in the forrest, watch or listen to true crime documentaries, gardening.
Spouse/partner? Married since Dec 2014 together since 2005
First appointment? Yesterday (27th Oct.) and first ultrasound today! (28th Oct.) Strong heartbeat!
Any symptoms? All the nausea, exhaustion, sensitive nose and thus a lack of appetite.
High risk / concerns? No indicators, no previous MC, no health concerns but high anxiety and worried the worst is yet to come (my mother MC twice between her first and second child so I feel due for two)

I have one DS (March 2019). We have a 5 month old puppy and a geriatric (but spry!) cat. I am a SAHM. My husband and I are big foodies and typically love to travel. I also like reading a crafting. I've recently been getting into embroidery.
Waited a long time, tried a lot of stuff, science made me a mom.

Hi, it's so encouraging for me to hear you had twins first and you want more. I am ftm about to go from zero to two and not sure what to expect. But if you liked it that much, so can I! Congrats on your pregnancy
POAS yesterday, which happened to be 4 days after we went to our first appointment with a fertility doctor. We had been trying for several months but I’m old (almost 39) and time is of the essence, as they say. My doctor is apparently really good 😂
I’m a SAHM with two boys (almost 4 and 2) and I regularly go out of my mind trying to keep the house cleanish while homeschooling the older kid.
Due date?
Due date?
June 24th <3 Cancer/Gemini cusp, right?
How did you find out?
We've been trying for 6 months. I thought my period was just acting weird and that I definitely wasn't pregnant this month, but then all of a sudden there it was, a faint little line! Now today (1 week later) it's a big bold line and I have my 3rd blood test to confirm good hormone levels tomorrow. Fingers crossed!

No children or pets and this is our first!
