Lol! @inthewoods23 here is a pic of my little guy. We adopted him in May, our quarantine hedgehog. We’ve always dreamed of having one and when Covid messed up multiple *other* dreams and gave us a new opportunity to dedicate time to socialization we finally did it!
edit: I don't know how to add pictures, apparently. LOL
Married August 2010 DD1 August 2011 DD2 August 2013 DD3 February 2017
Hi all, so excited to be here (albeit super nervous being so early at 3 weeks 4 days), looking forward to hopefully staying put here and getting to know everyone and catching up with all the ladies from TTGP!
Due date? 6/25
How did you find out? I caved and tested with a cheapie yesterday at 5 days post 5 day frozen embryo transfer and saw a light but visible second line, so I tried a digital and got a positive there too!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I am 36 and an attorney at a large international law firm, MH is 38 and works for one of our local news networks. We have a 2 year old DD. I was very active in August 2018 with that pregnancy and am still close with a group of ladies from that BMB. We started trying for #2 in January but didn't have any success and my cycles seemed really short, so I had some testing done in May and much to my surprise was diagnosed with a diminished ovarian reserve and told we had very little chance of conceiving naturally again. So we opted for IVF and came out of my July egg retrieval with two embryos that tested normal, the first of which we implanted last Wednesday.
First appointment? Any symptoms? I have my beta blood test on Friday and then I guess will go from there once that hopefully confirms the pregnancy! I have woken up early the last couple of days and have a lot of extra energy which was also the case with DD until about 6-7 weeks when morning sickness and fatigue kicked in. I also had a bad reaction to the smell of my mom's pastrami sandwich yesterday, but that may just be because I do not like pastrami
*TTC History*
Me: 37, MH: 38; Married August 2017

Due date? 6/14 based on LMP, but I tend to ovulate early. If I had to guess based on my other pregnancies, I’d say it’s going to be closer to 6/5.
How did you find out? I started feeling crampy 4 or 5 days before my expected period. I recognized the feeling and figured I should take a test.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) Married to a wonderful husband and we’ve been together almost 8 years. We have two sons, 4 years old and almost 2. We have our own small business, which we run out of our home. We live in Florida and are big Disney people. We’re passholders and go often because of the flexibility of our work schedules
First appointment? Any symptoms? I have a phone consultation 10/20 (thanks covid) and my first real appointment with dating u/s will be scheduled for the following week.
I’m excited to be here and get to know you all! I created lifelong connections with the women from my first son’s birth month board 5 years ago and I’m hopeful to do the same again.
How did you find out? I noticed that I was late by a week and decided to take a test. I was a bit hesitant to take since I had a MC in June.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I am avid outdoors person, especially love hiking and backpacking. Spouse and I have been married for 10 years and we have 1 DS who is 3 years old. We have a grouchy 13 year old cat and a lovable 7 year old dog.
First appointment? Any symptoms? First appointment is November 5 for u/s and visit with NP. Symptoms, ugh, so much nausea. I was not sick my first pregnancy but damn this one is certainly kicking me hard.
How did you find out? It was the day of my period and decided to take a test - it was positive SUPER FAST!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I am 39 and this would be our second child. We have one son, 3 y/o. I like to sew/quilt, read and workout. I am super excited, but cautious at the same time. I've had two previous losses so I am waiting for the ultrasound appt, so I can hear the heartbeat as all my losses have been very early in my pregnancies.
First appointment? Any symptoms? First appointment, 11/2, lots of gas, fatigue and morning sickness.
How did you find out? Took a test not expecting anything, saw a faint line and then took about 6 other tests in a two day period (nutty bird!) and we are a yes!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?). No children, first pregnancy. I have my two year puppy, Cleo, who is my joy! My husband and I got married in March right before the COVID craziness set in, so we are so grateful the wedding went off without a hitch.
First appointment? Any symptoms? I have an appt for blood test and general check on 10/20. Will be too early to hear a heartbeat even though I'm holding out hope that we have a chance! US on 11/4 at week 8. Symptoms - I feel super bloated, a little crampy, exhausted and truly constantly hungry.
I'm so nervous! I'm trying to feel excited but until the US I'm just a bundle of nerves. Tips to try and stay calm and feel the excitement??

How did you find out? I currently have an IUD and was having some unexpected bleeding and my OBGYN recommended I take a home test. Got a dollar store cheapy and it’s definitely positive. I got blood work done today and my hcg was at 68.8. I need to get more blood work done on Friday and then I’ll see a doctor.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I’m a 29 yo SAHM in Central PA with an 8yo DS, 5 yo DD, and a 2 yo DS (July 2018). My H and I will celebrate our 10 year anniversary next week! We’ve got a ton of pets but the main ones are our two dogs- a coonhound lab mix and a mini doxi.
First appointment? Any symptoms?
first appointment will probably be Friday or Monday to figure out what’s up. I don’t think I have any symptoms because I was absolutely not thinking about another baby. I’ve been a little scatterbrained lately though 🤷🏻♀️.
Wishing all of you ladies big sticky congratulations!
@ellenibnyc it’s very hard not to worry too much until that first ultra sound. I cant remember if it was in this thread or another, but remind yourself every day and any time you worry, “right now, I am pregnant.” There is nothing more you can do except try to make healthy choices and take care of yourself which in turn takes care of the baby! Oh, and hang out here so we can all distract one another!
@hillbillywife Talk about unexpected! A mom in my last BMB got pregnant with an IUD too. Did they go ahead and remove it today or will they do that when you go back?
Due date? 6/21 or 6/24 (my cycle is wonky, so we'll find out at our first appointment)
How did you find out? I took a test and there it was. I also started feeling nauseous really early this time around and figured I was either pregnant or had COVID, and here we are.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I have a 4 year old daughter (also a June baby), I work at a library and love my job, my husband works in urban forestry and also loves his job, and we're psyched to be adding one more to our family (most likely the last!)
First appointment? Any symptoms? Just scheduled my 8 week appointment for Nov 20th. Been nauseous, a little more tired than usual, but overall I'm feeling really good.
How did you find out? POAS today during my lunch break.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) *trigger: loss mentioned*
I'm 40+ and we were done after our two kids. An unexpected CP in Dec made us rethink that. Another CP in March and Aug and we had given up. This was definitely a shock.
First appointment? Any symptoms? Haven't scheduled an appointment yet. No symptoms so far.
How did you find out? Took a test after I missed my period by 1 day.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) My husband and I have been married for just over 5 years and have one son, who will be 2 in December and a fur-baby (miniature golden-doodle) who is 5 years old. I currently work at a college so life is a little wild right now trying to navigate covid on a college campus . I am a pretty active person, so I enjoy running/walking/strength training. As a family we love being outside, so basically anything outdoors we take an interest in.
First appointment? Any symptoms? Calling Monday for my first appointment, our local clinic typically schedules around 8 weeks, and is on the smaller side so it's pretty easy to get in (thankfully). No terrible symptoms yet, just tired and so so hungry. All the time.
Hi @AlliDB ! I also work on a college campus so have a similar issue. Luckily, my job is just me in my lab, mostly, so I don't have much risky interaction. Welcome!
Married August 2010 DD1 August 2011 DD2 August 2013 DD3 February 2017
Hi! Congratulations, pregnant people! My mind is blown being here seeing at it's probably so early. I don't want to jinx myself but I am trying to be optimistic this time around.
Due date? Not sure yet...sometime late June? I'm still breastfeeding and hadn't gotten a full period yet, but I had some very light spotting for a couple of days in September and decided to use that as my starting point.
How did you find out? I only had one FRER and was planning to do it tomorrow, but my curiosity got the better of me. It was faint but MH agreed that it was positive and he NEVER agrees. So I went out to target across the street and bought a million more. Def positive. I got a faint shadow on a premom one too.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) My DS turned 1 this week (Nov '19 Bumper!!) and MH and I have been married for almost 6 years...together for 11. I recently became a SAHM after DS was born. I had a rough pregnancy and postpartum so I was in no shape to go back mentally or physically and now I'm so glad I didn't! I worked in comm. development / social impact. My activities are so boring now. I like getting out on walks with DS and enjoying the warm SoCal weather.
First appointment? Any symptoms? Just got off the phone and made an appointment for Nov. 10th. I called ASAP b/c I was taking fluconazole for mastitis but my OB said to stop and also to consider weaning. I'm actually really down about that part. I am hoping to continue, but I think it might have something to do with my history of pre-term contractions / labor. No symptoms besides weird hot flashes and chills...I could also be coming down with something. NOT covid. I hope. Oh my. I'm all over the place.
Alllll the feelings. Wishing everyone happy, sticky, and uneventful pregnancies!
@AlliDB@disgruntled_pelican I also also work at a campus! But I am working from home for the foreseeable future. They are trying to keep the number of people physically on campus to a minimum and I don't actually need to be in my office, which has been good for hiding the nausea and unbuttoning my pants at my desk
I wasn’t having my usual PMS symptoms, took a test first day of my missed period and got the positive result!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) FTM. Live in Michigan with my husband of almost 4 years (our anniversary is next week) and 2 cats. I work full time at a mortgage company which has been crazy busy considering how low rates are right now. We’ve been TTC since January, miscarried back in May, so I am cautiously optimistic. Keep telling myself this one will stick!
First appointment? Any symptoms?
Not until 11/16. Cannot wait!
I’ve had some mild nausea, stuffy nose, but not much else so far.
Due date? June 26th (RCS at around 38-39 weeks) How did you find out? Tested on my anniversary on Tuesday then went in for betas Wednesday and Friday. First beta looked great, still waiting on the results of the second one. Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I'm a graduate student (clinical mental health counseling with certification in substance abuse counseling) and mom to two (6yo and a 2yo, both boys). My husband and I got married just over 2 years ago. We have a cat named Minchin who we got after our hedgehog Loki passed away. I love to paint when I have free time, but that's fairly rare anymore. First appointment? Any symptoms? First scheduled appointment is at the beginning of December but I'll likely be seen sooner than that. I have a history of hyperemesis and have already been put on medication for the nausea.
How did I find out? WELL. Started with strong PMS like headaches and mild cramps/bloating. Most of all my boobs felt heavy and sore. I was a little suspicious and then I missed my period so I tested and sure enough two lines. Around my period due time I was exhausted and sleeping excessively, which isn’t normal for me especially after coffee.
Tell about myself.
For starters I am 26 and relieved to know I can conceive. My partner and I were not necessarily trying but we are preparing ourselves to bring a little one into the world and raise it with love. I am in college and I am near getting my bachelors in human services. This will be my first child and I can’t wait until the 12wk mark.
1st appointment? Any symptoms?
Still reading reviewed of obgyns hoping to get a good feel for who our doctor will be. Thankfully it’s early. I am taking a prenatal. My current symptoms are extreme hunger, boob tenderness, and mood swings.
How did you find out? Felt off at 8dpo, and was supposed to receive medication for our first IUI the following day. Figured I'd take a test just to quiet my mind and in case I could still cancel the medication shipment. Lo and behold it was positive!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I am an elementary school librarian (hi @notmyfirstrodeo83! Librarians are awesome!!) This is pregnancy #6, and I have two DS (7 & 3.5). First trimester is always touch and go for me, so I never participated in their BMB because I had so much anxiety about having to say goodbye. This time I'm trying to have faith. We've been trying for 18 months and hope this LO will complete our family. In my free time I like to read, run, and be outside. DH and I have been together for about 14 years with our 10th anniversary coming up in the spring.
First appointment? Any symptoms? I'm in beta land right now, with my first draw yesterday and another one tomorrow. I'm being monitored by my RE and am anticipating a few early US due to my pregnancy history. I was on modified bed rest my 1st trimester with DS2 so hoping it doesn't get that bad again. So far no big symptoms besides crampy and tender breasts but it's early! So excited to get to know you all!
Due date? Still a little up in the air, but I think June 5th.
How did you find out? I get a lot of Migraines up to 20 a month. The last week of September I got one that followed an abnormal pattern, and was even more intense. I only had migraines like this during my first two pregnancies. I then realized my period was late. Took a test, and then 3 more. lol they were all positive.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I'm a 37 year old cis woman, and I've been married for 13 years. We have two daughters ages 6 and 5. I love to read. I enjoy politics, religion and talking about all the taboo topics. I've been a stay at home mom since the birth of my first. I was planning on returning to school this fall to pursue a PHD in Psychology. However, the pandemic and having 2 kids doing virtual school, I put it off until next fall. LOL and I guess I'll put it off again to focus on new baby and helping my children adjust to the new dynamics of sharing their parents and life with a new person.
First appointment? Any symptoms? I had my first appointment on October 6th. We confirmed pregnancy and blood work looked great, however we couldn't see baby. I go back on 10/19 to try to confirm due date again and check on baby. Symptoms: Migraines, gas and bloating, constipation, swollen breasts, fatigue and insomnia. I've also been checking my fasting sugar numbers due to having GD with my first two pregnancies and PCOS, and it looks like I may already have developed GD.
Hi @jaztastic, Thanks for asking. We did 5 IUIs first, failed for various reasons. Some his count low, others messed up the timing, I had chronic endometritis.... We are getting old and still no kids, so we decided to step up to the next degree. GIFT vs IVF wasn't a medical decision for us so much as a personal one. My tubes aren't blocked, so I knew GIFT could work for us. GIFT is actually just as successful as IVF or more. I don't believe in IVF because I don't want to endanger the lives of my embryos. No judgement to anyone who's done it, just not for us. I believe so strongly in my principles, I didn't mind having surgery. The egg retrieval process is just like IVF, and then the eggs are placed in a catheter along w the washed sperm and inserted directly into the fallopian tube. The first time, we only got 3 brown eggs and it didn't work. The second time, 7 good eggs and it worked. I'm hoping for a healthy, happy pregnancy, birth and baby - or two!
How did you find out? I was a few days late so DH went and picked up a test for me.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I have two precious girls, one is 3 and one is 8 months. I'm a proofreader for digital products for a Christian school curriculum. My hobbies are sewing, reading, and writing, but mostly I take care of my kids and clean the house 😅 My husband is a scene designer for college productions and he builds all kids of things on the side. His largest project was adding a master suite to our house!
First appointment? Any symptoms? So far no symptoms, but I'm counting the good days until the nausea hits. I get morning sickness from 6-20 weeks and it is debilitating. I haven't made an appointment yet, but will probably be seen at 8 weeks.
@marebear15 what a pleasant surprise! 😆 We've got TTGPers old and new now. My mind is blown 🤯

How did you find out?
Sooo tired yesterday, couldn’t get off the sofa. Husband and I went birthday shopping for our oldest and I just looked at him and was like “I think I am actually pregnant this time” lol... Decided to take a test and got two lines last night when we got home and then got a YES + on first response gold digital this morning
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)
My husband and I have two other children, Delilah- 4 and Scotty- 1. (Both cold month babies- November and February) So this will be our first summer baby, which is a change up!!
We also have a King Charles cavalier/cocker spaniel mix named Keira who is the sweetest dog ever.
I recently suffered through a m/c in July, and have been diagnosed with PCOS. Had an appt on 10/21 to start medication to help me ovulate but here we are! My husband works for a local paper mill in production and I am a Real Estate Agent! We love music, outdoors, the beach and cooking/baking as a family.
First appointment? Any symptoms? no appt scheduled yet going for blood work this coming week.
How did you find out? Took a test 2 days before my scheduled beta (FET cycle). Tried to test earlier, but had a run of defective tests. Talk about enforced patience!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) One DS - just turned 2! (October 18 group, anyone?) 2 cats who are just now getting used to one kiddo.
I’m an instructional coach at a middle school this year, and we’re WFH through at least the end of January. Likely the full year for me. It’s a weird shift to not be in building! Hubby WFH as well, and we’re loving not having to commute In my free time (feel free to laugh) I’m a baker, photographer, runner, yogi, and total bookworm. In a perfect world I’d get paid to do all of these things, but in the meantime, I dabble
First appointment? Any symptoms? Had my first US with the RE on Friday at 7 weeks and graduated! Next step is to call the midwives to set up ongoing care. Had an early MC in July that threw me for a bit of a loop, so we were waiting to make sure all looked good with this one. Fortunately everything looked good on the US - so cool to see that little heartbeat flicker - and the nausea has kicked in big time. Taking that as a continued positive sign!
@marebear15 as someone with hyperemesis I definitely understand the feeling of counting the good days. My ObGyn already has me on medication and the nausea is fully setting in. Even if there's nothing I can do to help, I'll commiserate on the morning sickness train. @halfanewt You too!! So many TTGPers on this board! That's exciting!
Hi all I'm Magen from Memphis. I'm 34 years old and this will be my third child.
I'm due June 25th 2021, any other LATE June people here yet ? I just found out I'm pregnant last week. Already developing symptoms though 😃 Food aversion, tired, bloating and constipation. I also had some implantation bleeding this weekend which is when my period would gave started. Its already stopped.
It has taken us a couple of months to get pregnant this time so I was excited last week when I took a test, followed by 5 more over the week haha and they were all positive.
I'm able to see my Dr. next week but doubt they'll give me an ultrasound yet, what do yall think ?
@AlliDB , @disgruntled_pelican , and @pickle-chips plus one here for working at a university. I do not directly interact with students so they have me in the office and working from home every other day. Thank goodness for that!

Hi. I'm excited to be here and see several familiar names from TTGP and IF boards.
Due date? June 26 but possibly a little earlier with repeat CS
How did you find out? FET was 10/8 and then we went on vacation. I had no symptoms at all and was feeling discouraged so I decided to test and if it was negative I could at least have some wine. It was a strong BFP.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I live in Boston with H and our 2 year old son (Aug18 BMB - hi @legallykate). I don't have a formal job right now but I'm writer. I'm working on a novel and trying to find some freelance work to bring in a little income (mostly to justify the days I have childcare). I love to read and I used to go to concerts back when that was a thing.
Getting pregnant has never come easy for me. Our little boy was born after years of IF treatment and finally donor egg IVF. I thought the second would be easier but I had 2 losses and a failed FET this round. I'm feeling appropriately anxious for this pregnancy but have a good feeling.
First appointment? Any symptoms? 1st beta was today and 2nd will be Wednesday. I'll have an ultrasound with my RE around 7 weeks and meet with my OB the first week of December. I still don't have much for symptoms but my boobs are finally getting sore.

First appointment? Calling tomorrow to book! My OB typically books around 8-10 weeks. Any symptoms? My boobs hurt. Everything else is probably in my head!

Due date? 6/18 based on LMP

I’m a 29 yo SAHM in Central PA with an 8yo DS, 5 yo DD, and a 2 yo DS (July 2018). My H and I will celebrate our 10 year anniversary next week! We’ve got a ton of pets but the main ones are our two dogs- a coonhound lab mix and a mini doxi.
first appointment will probably be Friday or Monday to figure out what’s up. I don’t think I have any symptoms because I was absolutely not thinking about another baby. I’ve been a little scatterbrained lately though 🤷🏻♀️.
I have a 4 year old daughter (also a June baby), I work at a library and love my job, my husband works in urban forestry and also loves his job, and we're psyched to be adding one more to our family (most likely the last!)
Just scheduled my 8 week appointment for Nov 20th. Been nauseous, a little more tired than usual, but overall I'm feeling really good.
*trigger: loss mentioned*
I'm 40+ and we were done after our two kids. An unexpected CP in Dec made us rethink that. Another CP in March and Aug and we had given up. This was definitely a shock.

My husband and I have been married for just over 5 years and have one son, who will be 2 in December and a fur-baby (miniature golden-doodle) who is 5 years old. I currently work at a college so life is a little wild right now trying to navigate covid on a college campus
Calling Monday for my first appointment, our local clinic typically schedules around 8 weeks, and is on the smaller side so it's pretty easy to get in (thankfully).
No terrible symptoms yet, just tired and so so hungry. All the time.

My DS turned 1 this week (Nov '19 Bumper!!) and MH and I have been married for almost 6 years...together for 11.
Just got off the phone and made an appointment for Nov. 10th. I called ASAP b/c I was taking fluconazole for mastitis
Alllll the feelings. Wishing everyone happy, sticky, and uneventful pregnancies!
FTM.
June 26th (RCS at around 38-39 weeks)
How did you find out?
Tested on my anniversary on Tuesday then went in for betas Wednesday and Friday. First beta looked great, still waiting on the results of the second one.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)
I'm a graduate student (clinical mental health counseling with certification in substance abuse counseling) and mom to two (6yo and a 2yo, both boys).

Aww.. you have the same due date as my first baby I lost to a MC
I am an elementary school librarian (hi @notmyfirstrodeo83!
Thanks for asking.

Thanks!
@AlliDB , @disgruntled_pelican , and @pickle-chips plus one here for working at a university. I do not directly interact with students so they have me in the office and working from home every other day. Thank goodness for that!

BFP 2/2014 - DS - 10/2014
Getting pregnant has never come easy for me. Our little boy was born after years of IF treatment and finally donor egg IVF. I thought the second would be easier but I had 2 losses and a failed FET this round. I'm feeling appropriately anxious for this pregnancy but have a good feeling.
I still don't have much for symptoms but my boobs are finally getting sore.

How did you find out? Since I got my IUD out I’ve been obsessive with taking tests every month.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) My husband and I have been married 3 years and this will be our first baby! We have 1 dog and are currently fostering another dog. We love to hike and travel. I work in healthcare and he is an attorney. We had an early miscarriage this summer so I’m hoping this one sticks!
First appointment? Calling tomorrow to book! My OB typically books around 8-10 weeks. Any symptoms? My boobs hurt. Everything else is probably in my head!
