Hello everyone. I'm Juana. My expected due date is 6/16/20, currently 15 weeks, 6 days pregnant with a little girl. I'm married to my best friend for 14 years (married at 22), and we have 1 child, he is 21 months. I'm terrified of managing 2 children under 3 but look forward to the adventure. Are there any moms with young children? How did you manage? Well anyway, I look forward to getting to know you all through our post

  • @jmckibben01 welcome! Ds will be 13 months in a week ish. It's going to be interesting for sure. Once they are a little older, I think it will be great to have them so close in age. Definitely expecting the first 3 years to be insane but we'll figure it out!
  • DS will be 19 months when this babe is born. I have absolutely no idea how I will manage but, we will get through it!
  • Hello all, my name is Nikki! I'm 16 weeks today, due 6/19, we find out the gender on 1/28. This is my second baby, daughter will be 4 on 1/21. She's been asking for a little sister/brother pretty much all 2019 so she's super excited! This will be my boyfriend's first baby, he's wanted kids for years now so he's over the moon excited 😊 I had some complications with my first birth, because of scar tissue I had problems dilating, both my daughter and I ended up contracting infections (long story short from being checked by too many people) and was in labor for about 36 hours. They ended up having to use the vacuum to help pull my daughter out and if I hadn't been been able to push her out with assistance from the vacuum they were going to do an emergency C-section. My daughter spent 10 days in the NICU after birth. Hopefully the scar tissue won't be an issue, my OB says everything looks like it healed nicely so maybe this time will be less of a roller coaster! I'm excited to get to know you all!
  • @jmckibben01 My oldest was 27 months when my second was born, and it was really only a crazy 6 months. My first won't be quite 4, and second will be 21 months probably when third (this one) will be born. For sure will be a little nuts!

Hey, everyone! My name is Lindsay, and I am so happy to have found this community. This is my first pregnancy, and my EDD is June 10 (we will learn the baby’s gender on Jan. 24). I have PCOS, and my doctor ordered a pregnancy test before re-upping my spironolactone prescription. I was completely floored when she called me to let me know I was pregnant. I was fortunate to have a pretty easy first trimester (just a little queasiness and shortness of breath), and I chalked up my missed period to stress (I’ve skipped cycles before when I’m stressed out). My fiancé and I were not trying to have a baby (not yet at least), and as i have PCOS, I was afraid we would have problems conceiving once we did start trying. Even though this news was unexpected, we are over the moon. My fiancé lost both of his parents within 2 months of each other last fall. So we are truly overjoyed to be adding to our family after so much pain last year.

Other info: I’m 31, and an attorney at a mid-sized firm in the South. My fiancé and I are the proud humans of a rescue mutt (we think he’s a beagle/jack Russell mix). And I love all things LSU (hoping to watch the Tigers win the national championship next week)!

I’m really looking forward to getting to know y’all! Just browsing the message boards has helped me feel so much more knowledgeable and prepared!

  • Good morning ladies! I am a wee bit late in joining the community thread. I'm really shy and not at all into blogging, albeit I love to write. Imagine that!

I go by AliBear on most of my online endeavors, with my most used nom de plume being just Ali. I'm a pretty private person and am guilty of lurking more than participating, but I'm trying something different.

A little about me and my family:
    I am 30 years old
I am a Nurse specializing in hospice/end-of-life care
I am in a poly relationship
    I am LGBT positive

My primary partner is a coal miner and will be a first time dad with this baby and first time step parent to my daughter. He is beyond excited and equally as surprised and nervous.

My secondary partner is a SAHM
Her and I have a 4 y.o daughter with a prior relationship *TW* that ended last year after 14 years (Him and I 10 married-3 of those poly with her, 4 together) sadly due to physical and mental abuse and needing to get us and our child out of a toxic environment. She is also excited about our new addition to our family.

This is my 8th pregnancy and a complete surprise and miracle. *TW* I have terrible PCOS and other reproductive health problems. I suffered 5 miscarriages, 1 Stillbirth at 38 weeks due to a last minute cord accident, have my rainbow baby mentioned above, and now this little surprise June Bug. The first 6 were all with my soon to be ex-husband over a span of 14 years. Doctor's were pretty positive I was not to be able to have children when I got pregnant with my son that passed away, then my daughter was born, but her pregnancy was not easy. So after that, they definitely said I was done, but too young for sterilization at 25, so IUD it was.

Fast forward to 5 years later and while I'm going through this nasty divorce, I actually get pregnant with my boyfriend, but suffer another miscarriage at the end of August 2019. We figure it's a blessing in disguise, but it's still hard for me to go through. Then after we decide to go ahead and go through sterilization, I find out I'm pregnant again a month later. I found out when I went to my PCP after I passed out at work for an hour and my blood sugar was through the roof. I am diabetic so we figured my meds needed adjusted. Surprise! Twas the baby.

So, here I am and thus wraps up my somewhat long winded introduction. We are due June 15th 2020 with a little boy. I am currently 22w4d and just like my history my pregnancy thus far has been a rollercoaster. Our little JuneBug is healthy and every checkup and ultrasound brings me to tears with relief.

Hobbies include everything that my 4yo loves to do honestly, reading, writing, and we are also a house of avid gamers from PC and Console to Boardgames and Tabletop (DnD, Pathfinder, Magic the Gathering, etc.)

I look foward to you ladies and stepping out of my comfort zone

  • @xalibearx We are a gaming household too. :)  Mostly tabletop and board games these days because toddlers dramatically limit online availability/time. <3

So true! We finally have 3 ish board games we can play with our 3.5 year old now tho, which is cool. And sometimes on a weekend, he gets to sit on daddy's lap for some video games at computer!

  • Hey everyone! I honestly can't remember if I posted an intro in here yet or not (I haven't really been on the app actively in a little while).

My EDD is June 9th 2020
My boyfriend and I are very excited that we are expecting a baby boy!

This is my first baby, though we had a miscarriage about 6 months prior to conceiving with this one. I was diagnosed in 2016 with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome and Endometriosis and was told I may never have kids after my surgery on my 21st birthday as they were 70% sure I had full blockage of both fallopian tubes and would need more surgeries and possible fertility drugs to even have a shot. I'm now 24 weeks along with a healthy baby boy and natural pregnancy so far, and we feel so blessed! (I am now 24 yrs old, 25 in October)

Currently I work full time as a pet groomer, and my boyfriend runs his own trucking business. I have 2 fur babies (kitties) who seem to know that I am expecting and often give me belly massages and purr for the baby who loves to poke back at them when they do.

Last but not least, I've chosen to go with a team of midwives and plan to give birth at their birthing center where they have water birthing tubs and a more natural homey atmosphere (given everything is healthy and the midwives clear me for a natural birth). I'm interested to know if anyone else is going along this route as well rather than the typical hospital birth plan.

Sorry I'm so late to the party! I look forward to being more apart of the discussions.
    ~ Jessie
  • @wildspiritmama I'm actually taking it one step further and planning a home birth with a midwife team. My first was a planned birth center birth, but then I went into pre-term labor and had to go to the hospital, which went very very badly (story posted on here somewhere), so I had my second at home. So far everything looks good for a second home birth with this current baby. Fingers crossed that your pregnancy stays nice and boring and you can deliver out of hospital.

  • Yeah my bestfriend had a hospital birth last year and they botched her episiotomy, and I haven't had good experiences in the past with hospitals so fingers are super crossed to be able to deliver at the birth center! And I hope all goes well for your home birth with this pregnancy as well! It's nice to hear of other women choosing this route for delivery! :)

I took 2 pregnancy tests that were both positive and then I woke up my husband at 3am to tell him. We had plans that weekend to try sushi... So I'm 29 now and have not tried that yet.

  • Hello June Mamas!!

I'm super late to the game. I was thinking how silly it would be to add another mom group to my life but as it ticks closer I realized how much Ive been missing this. So here I am. Please humbly accept my late presence! **deep bow**

    EDD- June 8th
How you found out- Back in October it was a Friday and hubs was working from home which meant ritas and fajitas for lunch! We had been trying since Jan and I had given up any hope of getting pregnant and had accepted it. But on a whim, I took a test before I dropped my kids at school and holy shit it was super dark and positive!! I was about 3-4 weeks. I ran to dollar store for a mug and to Michaels for a paint pen and wrote with a cermaic paint pen on the bottom of the coffee mug a la pinterest "You're gonna be a Daddy again!" I came home and couldnt handle the suspense, so I made him chug it while on a conference call. He stopped 3 times to tell me it tasted like sharpie and grimaced. 😂😂😂 He drank it and we both cried. We told the kiddos when I was 12 weeks, we made my 5 yr old boy a custom pokemon card with a pokemon "Cryatchu" and gave my 3 yr old girl a baby doll with feeding set to tell them about #3
Hobbies, Job, Etc.- Im from Texas, y'all know how we are! My hobbies are eating Tex Mex and margaritas, amateur photography, being sarcastic, Lilly Pulitzer and red wine. I'm active at my Methodist church and a current PTA president at my daughters preschool.
Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies- I have a DH, Stephen and we are in our 8th year of marriage. I have a 6 yr old son, Isaac (March 2014) and a 3 yr old daughter, Juliette (June 2016) and am very close with both of their Bump month groups, we did eventually move over to FB.
Anything you’d like us to know- Coronavirus can suck it. Homeschooling is tought but he's kinder so it's not a big deal, DH is essential but in IT so can work from home, the 3 year old is driving me batty. We are all stuck at home in our townhome and I'm hormonal, exhausted and moody.
  • Hey, My name is pooja and I am from India. I am 4 months pregnant lady. And by profession, i  am a blogger and due to my pregnancy, i started a pregnancy blog to help those women who wants to buy some good nursing pajamas.
  • Hello everyone! I am expecting my first child towards the end of June! I am happily married to my husband (4 years strong!) and I am a fitness maniac. Being pregnant has sent me on countless journeys trying to find the best way to stay happy, healthy, and fit during my pregnancy. If there are any of you who are fitness junkies like me id love to connect and share what we find together!
  • I'm a bit late in introducing myself. Baby is due June 12!

I found out the day after my birthday in October (I was too afraid to take the test on my actual birthday in case it was bad news). I kind of had a feeling since my breasts were sore and I had never felt that before. But I was trying not to get my hopes up, so I was thoroughly expecting a "No" and when I saw the "Yes", I was in shock! I have absolutely no patience, so I told my husband right away.

My husband and I got married in December of 2018. This will be our first (and only) little one and we are so excited! We're having a boy and can't wait to meet him. We already have the name picked out, his nursery is mostly complete (just organization needed). We have all the things we need to bring our little guy home! Now, I just have to work on my patience until June...

    Hi everyone.

    - EDD (Estimated Due Date): June 25 (boy)

    - How you found out:  A co-worker of mine showed me some photos of his first grandbaby. Went home, tried to do a pregnancy test myself out of the blue, and it was positive. 2 days prior, I had a dream of being pregnant, and even noted it on my calendar/dream journal.

    - Hobbies, Job, Etc. :  I'm introverted so I don't have many friends. I like to play video games and I enjoy target shooting sometimes. I also like to watch TV shows and movies. Job wise, unfortunately, I got recently laid off my 7 year+ job due to Covid. So, I'm current unemployed.

    - Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies:  I'm a widow. Currently engaged to my fiance for about a year now and this is my first pregnancy. I thought I have fertility issues but thank goodness I don't. It just wasn't given to me during my 1st marriage.

A lot of hard and painful things I've been through the past years but I managed to stay strong. When you're family is away, and you live independently, you tend to spiral. I'm thankful to the Lord that I'm still here, given another chance to live and love. This pregnancy is such a wonderful blessing to me. It's never too late to find hope and courage to face each day. Live life to the fullest. 💕

Wishing all the expecting moms a healthy pregnancy and may your families be blessed.

  • Hello all, mama bear to 3 boys.
    EDD:  was Jume 19th.
How you found out: I found out on October 15th 2019 when one of my coworkers asked me how to tell if you're pregnant. As I described the tell all indicators I realized I was experiencing them myself. My bf had told me ye had tried with his ex gf and was told he couldn't so I was so shocked when our tests came back positive.
Job and hobbies: I work as a cna in a nursing home/rehab facility. As this is typed we are a covid positive facility.
Spouse/partner kids: my bf and I were only together 3 months and it wasn't a walk in the park before we found out. Were still together just trying to take things day by day. Its difficult being shoved together by the universe so prematurely.  I have 2 other sons 11 and 7 from a previous engagement.
Things to know: im sure you'll all get to know.me quickly. I'm in need of a support group as I don't have a solid one around me so here is where I'll be turning often.
Thanks for reading about me! I'm happy to be here with you mamas!!
