@cindymarie87 love the thoughts about negative energy. I read a book about old Chinese culture that said some believed their thoughts directly impacted the developing child. I think pregnancy is as good a time as any to practice positive thoughts and energy!!
- How you found out: home pregnancy test 2 days before my expected period which was 12 days after my IUI (the clinic wanted us to wait 16 days but we had a feeling).
- I'm a dental assistant. I like cross stitching in my down time.
- I've been married for almost 3 years, together for 6 1/2 years. We have two for babies; Lexi 🐈 and Kennah 🐕
- My wife and I are going to be first time mommies. We had two failed at home attempts early this year. We decided to try IUI in clinic and got pregnant on the first round.
- How you found out: I started having symptoms at 9 dpo, I saw a temp drop so I thought my period was on its way, and then 12 dpo I saw a temp jump, took a test and saw a faint positive.
- Hobbies, Job, Etc.: I’m a budget analyst, so nothing exciting there. I like to say that my hobbies include sleeping.
- Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies: I have been married to my husband for seven years. We have a 3 yo daughter, two Australian Shepherds, and one cat.
- Anything you’d like us to know: I’ve been lurking this board for awhile waiting for the July one to open. But with having a edd of July 1, I’m sure that this one will be born in June, even though my daughter was born on her due date.
But I look forward to getting to know you ladies and going through this journey with you!

I found out when I took a test the day before my period was supposed to come. I just didnt feel right and figured I may be pregnant... and it was definitely positive.
My boyfriend and I have been together for 4.5 years. He's still adjusting to the news haha We have three children- I have 2 girls from a previous relationship ship and he has 1 son from a previous relationship.
I am a Children's Protective Services investigstor. Enjoy camping, going to Northern Michigan and working out.
Hi everyone! EDD: June 25th Hobbies/Job: I have 2 little ones, so not too much time for hobbies but I do love to bake. As for my job, I am a special education teacher. How you found out: Took a test the day after my birthday and it was positive. Spouse and Kids: My husband and I have been married for 7 years. I have two boys, 4 and 1. Anything else: I am feeling a little nervous because we planned to stop at 2 kids. I have also been having a great deal of pelvic pain along with some spotting so nervous about that too.
@mindyb2019 I think the shock of everything has subsided. I now feel better keeping it to myself, for the most part. In total I have told 5 people. These are my closest friends and they will be my rock if anything should happen.
@effienbabe ya the shock of everything will subside. Mine has a little bit but not entirely. Well you have told more people in total then I have haha. I’ve told 1 person other then my hubby lol. that’s it. It’s still killing me to tell more but I’m keeping it a secret for a while till about mid Nov, then we will start telling our immediate family and then wait longer after that to tell friends and co workers etc.
I don't have an estimated due date yet from my Dr. but my best guess is DD: June 10th. I found out by taking the last test I had in my cabinet just on a whim, the day before my missed period; I miscarried about 6 months ago (at roughly 6 weeks), and this is the first positive we have had since then. (Im roughly 8 weeks now). I was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome and Endometriosis about 3-4 years ago which I had surgery for and my Dr. told me that I may not ever be able to have kids. So I'm super nervous but trying to relax and go with the flow! (I'm 24 yrs old) I have been in the animal care/veterinary field for about 7 years and hobbies include really any outdoor activities or artistic projects. I have my boyfriend, and 2 fur babies; my kitties. We are super excited and nervous!
EDD (Estimated Due Date) June 6th 2020 - confirmed by ultrasound.
- How you found out I took a test on a friend’s recommendation one day before I was supposed to leave for work. - Hobbies, Job, Etc.
I like to Netflix and fall asleep on my couch, I like photography. I am a proud member of the Canadian Military. - Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies My DH is super excited about our baby, we have a 5 almost 6 year old. We also have two dogs and two cats.
@Skylight21 I just totally had a brain fart, and I hope everyone laughs. You stated Canadian Military, and in my head I heard Canadian Mounted, and I was so damned excited to have a member of RCMP in our group...I am an avid horse person. I realized my mistake in reading almost immediately, but hoped you might laugh. I do realize that they're very different things, lol.

Hi everyone! I’m excited to be here and still in disbelief! EDD: June 19th.
Found out through hpt obsession starting at 3dp5dt of a frozen embryo. Saw my first squinter at 5dp5dt and beta confirmed it on oct 16th.
I’m a high school math/science teacher for at-risk kids. My hubby and I have been married almost 5 years, and we have a dog, 2 cats and a turtle. This will be our first baby - we are both 42.
We’ve been doing fertility treatments for 3 years now. 2 failed iui’s, 2 failed IVF’s, 1 chemical pregnancy. We’ve both had surgeries to help in our journey (my left ovary and tube was removed in April) and we were fortunate enough to have a loved one offer to donate her eggs to us! We are cautiously excited, and terrified at the same time!
Great to meet you all and look forward to getting to know you all better!
My due date is June 15th which is one day before my son's first birthday!! That's right...IRISH TWINS!!!! ❤️💙
I found out because I had been feeling pregnant for a few days and took a test, and what do you know??! There were two lines!! We are beside ourselves excited! Very surprised because I was exclusively breastfeeding.
We have one son and that's 4 months and two older kids...a son that's 8 and a daughter that is 11...Looking forward to the new addition!
This is my first pregnancy! I got my IUD out August 30th and we started trying right away. 2 weeks later, I hadn't started my cycle yet so I bought some ovulation strips to check when I was ovulating. The tests said I was at peak ovulation for 3 days in a row, which I thought was weird, so I took a pregnancy test. Turns out I was already pregnant!
I'm a middle school science and language arts teacher. In my free time I like to sew, paint, play board games and watch Star Trek 🖖
I have been with my ❤️ for 3 years and we are so excited to grow our family!
I've had some time to process this, but I didn't want to just disappear. I actually had a false positive test, I never thought that I would experience one of those in my life, and I'm not truly pregnant. I wish you ladies a happy and healthy nine months!!

@blackgirlmagic I’m sorry. Was it one of those garbage blue dyes? I’ve actually heard about some people having some trouble with pink dye recently, too. 🙁

EDD: June 9th 2020
I am 25 and a first time mommy-to-be! My husband and I got married last year on October 27th, and we found out I was pregnant Sept 27th!
I work in banking as well as run my own little Etsy shop that keeps me very busy! I’m at 8 weeks today... the sleepys are winning and the morning sickness is real! 😅
Hey everyone! I've been waiting to have my first appt to post here. Just got back, and the little baby is looking healthy.
EDD (Estimated Due Date): 6/22/20
How you found out: I went off birth control in the middle of September, as my husband agreed we could start trying in October (he compromised on having another kid). I was tracking ovulation pretty closely, and ovulated a week late, on October 1 . And when I missed my period by a day, I took a pregnancy test. I waited a week until we went to Disneyland to tell my husband and parents.
Hobbies, Job, Etc.: I work for a California university as a business analyst for student information systems. My husband is also starting his own online, gamified training business.
Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies: My husband is 11 years older than me and is amazing. He has a son from previous marriage, my DSS is 13 (will be 14 in about 2 months). We also have a daughter together, who is 2.5yo and is wild . With our current situation, the two littles will be sharing a room. Now I need to get her potty trained and maybe in a toddler bed before June! We also have an Akita, who is about 5 years old.
Anything you’d like us to know: I belong to the April 2017 bump group, and I have grown super close to them over the years. Hoping to get something similar out of this experience, as well.
- How you found out: we’ve been trying for almost a year and i took a test anytime my period was late, this one started as a faint line!
- Hobbies, Job, Etc.: School based physical therapist by day, wire sculptor by night!
- Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies: I have been married to my husband for five years. We have a black cat named Needle:)
- Anything you’d like us to know: This is our first baby and since it didn’t come along as quickly as we hoped, we are dying of excitement that bump is finally here!
How you found out: I was a week late and we were using BC, so I thought it was perimenopause. Husband thought I was pg. Last Friday I got really nauseous and my husband went and bought a test. It was so positive, so fast. I was in shock, but am coming around. He was (and is) thrilled.
Job: I'm a PM, husband is SAHD. Our 15th anniversary is this month and I had just booked us a few days in a suite at a mineral spring resort with a private hot spring tub. Looks like I'll be cancelling that trip. (Right? No hot tubs? I'm a veteran, but it has been so. long.)
Family: We have two kids who are almost 8 and 12. We thought we were done! I guess we're not.
-Husband and I have been married for 7 years, this is our first time trying and first pregnancy! - I just had a gut instinct when I was one day late, which is unusual, so I took 2 tests, which were positive very quickly! Already had one appointment with an OB and have an ultrasound on Tuesday because TW (maybe?) I have Factor V and will have to start Lovenox injections daily due to family history of clots 😬 -we are both middle school language arts teachers. -we have a giant black dog and a Siamese mix cat for fur babies right now.
It's so hard not telling people! I've already had to tell 1-2 people because I'm high risk (already) and have multiple appointments scheduled, so I have to miss work!
@hewg1287 I’m a middle school LA teacher too! Love the job. I’m also high risk as I have a lupus diagnosis so I can totally empathize with what you’re going through! Wondering if we should start a teacher separate check in for this first tri? We had one on my last BMB and it was so helpful. Keeping it from students is a different ballpark!
Married: 12/19/15
BFP: 9/4/17 EDD: 5/16/18 DD born 5/10/18 Postpartum Complications
EDD June 28th and I'm 5 weeks 5 days! My boyfriend and I have been together for 8 years and started trying a few years ago. We had to have some help with clomid but I finally got my first positive test!
I found out by peeing on an expired wondfo that I had in my medicine cabinet.
We have 2 girls (3.5 and 18mo). This pregnancy was not planned and we were done having kids. I had a copper iud placed shortly after having my last daughter. Had some weird symptoms that made me poas. That positive was confirmed by beta and then u/s by my OB. The iud migrated, perforated my uterus, and then imbedded sideways in my cervical tissue. I had no pain and the strings were still able to be felt and visualized normally. I found out that there were two sacs at a follow up with a MFM to discuss possible removal of the iud.
I am a SAHM. We have 2 dogs. My hobbies include trying not to lose my shit, reading (slowly), cooking, and watching tv- OITNB, The Path, Ballers, and standup on Netflix.
Back on the boards. I was a member of the March 2018 group. My daughter is 19 months old. She was my rainbow baby. Love her to PIECES!
- EDD is June 25th later than my LMP and conception date
- I had been a few days late and decided to take a test to confirm that I wasn't pregnant. I am an older mom so I was convinced that my late period was early menopause 😳
- Hobbies right now is momming. Smh. I am a psychotherapist full-time.
- My daughter and I live with two males, my husband/her daddy and our special needs Chiwoxy. He is a handful (anxious and a biter) and Prozac has been our friend.
- So I am hoping to stick around. I am measuring smaller than my gestational age by a week. I am praying that this LO catches up by our 1 week follow up US.

I had been having a ton of pain for 2 weeks in my left ovary. I very move I made hurt and it made me collapse a Couple of times. I decided to test and received 3 positives over a couple of days. There was the fear that it could be ectopic so I was sent to the hospital. My HGC was also low. It looks like I had a 6cm cyst on that ovary but it is shrinking causing the pain to lessen. Right now they are keeping an eye on all the levels and hoping everything starts progressing normally.
I am an Interior Designer turned WFH Online Clothing boutique owner and my husband is an Automotive Engineer. We have both been previously married and have two girls, 8 and 6, from my previous marriage. We debated for a long time if we were going to have any more kids. We actually tried for a couple of months but had stopped trying due to a couple of upcoming trips. This pregnancy was a complete surprise! I haven’t been pregnant for 7 years and it feels all so surreal. I certainly am not the same person that I was last time I was pregnant.
