First time pregnancy here! Edd: June 8 How'd I find out: been tracking carefully and just started TTC. My period is like clockwork so when it was late I knew. Took an early test a week before my period and it was negative - then took one a week after my missed period and there it was!
I'm an elementary school music teacher and I teach megaformer fitness classes part time. Married for 2 years (together for 8) and we have a Maltipoo whom we are obsessed with.
Excited and nervous!!! Grateful that I’m still feeling good so doing my best to eat well and exercise often while this lasts!
Hello, Cautiously stepping my feet in here *TW* 2 losses this year and did IVF/FET for this one.
- EDD (Estimated Due Date) - June 21st - How you found out - Caved and took a HPT on the morning of my beta 10dp5dt - Hobbies, Job, Etc. - I work in tech support and obviously by my sn I am a huge Star Wars nerd. - Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies - I have a 5 yr old DS and a 9 yr old Beagle - Anything you’d like us to know 🙂 - I'm super excited and super nervous but just hoping and praying this little one sticks!
- 6/24/2020 - I did a frozen embryo transfer (FET) on 10/7. I have an official blood test Friday, but I've turned three tests since then! - I'm a teacher...mostly STEAM education now. - My husband and I have a four year old - also from IVF. Ironically, she was due 6/24/2015!
I still keep in touch with my old BMB so it's nice to join you ladies!
- EDD June 19 2020 I have been queasy for five days and then took a million tests that were so faint I couldn’t be sure until today. - I’m a tradeswoman. I am part of the carpenters 322 local 68 out of St.Paul Minnesota and am a flooring installer. I am remarried to DH number 2, I have 3 children (DS, 2 DD) from a previous marriage and my DH has DD from a really fun night 7 years ago. I have two precious dogs who drive me bonkers 😂
EDD: June 19th My husband and I did the whole, ovulation test, have way too much sex dance this month in the hopes of conceiving. I’ve been having weird symptoms and on Wednesday I felt nauseous and decided to pee on a stick. Got a positive! I was so surprised.
This is is my first. My 1 year wedding anniversary was two weeks ago. But I’ve been with my husband 6 years. We have one cat named Butters. She will be very jealous.
I am a preschool teacher, and camp director in the summer months. Love the outdoors and being active.
Im really struggling with not worrying about the baby. It’s killing me that I have to wait until my 8 week appointment to see if things are okay 😫
@emodelski first tri sucks! It'll be here before you know it but that worry never went away for me until I could feel ds move and guage his being OK that way. It's such a mind game.
- EDD June 19 2020 I have been queasy for five days and then took a million tests that were so faint I couldn’t be sure until today.

Me: 33 DH: 32 Married 7/18/15 1st born at 35+4 on 6/6/16 Team green turned BLUE! 2nd born at 38+6 on 8/30/18 Team green turned PINK! Due with #3 on 6/6/20 Team Green
Hi everyone! Just found out today that we are expecting! My husband and I have an almost 5 year old daughter (November 2014) who was a very pleasant surprise. We conceived this time on month two of trying. I feel incredibly blessed.
I thought I was pregnant last month, and had planned a cute way to tell DH. I bought a fake lottery ticket from Amazon that said “we’re having a baby” when scratched off. I bought four other real lottery scratch offs when I was out of town for work, our state doesn’t have the lotto. When I wasn’t pregnant, I just tucked them away to hopefully use at a later time.
After the let down last last month I convinced myself we weren’t successful this month. The symptoms I’ve had, backache and acne, are consistent with my normal pms symptoms. Took my lunch break today, day of my expected period, and took a test just to see and it was very positive. Husband was off today so I told him I found some lotto tickets I bought him last month while on my trip. He scratched 3 of the regular tickets first, and was very surprised when he got to the 4th. It was so cool to pull off!
According to last menstrual cycle, due date should be June 23. But this one will be a scheduled section after my first was an emergency section so likely the week before that.
A little about us, DH and I are both law enforcement. So the big question will be how long to keep a secret and how long to stay full duty. But for now we’re keeping it under wraps. Thankful to have somewhere to talk about it!!
@ChristineShayne a friend is an officer but she had to tell right away. Something about carrying the weapon was bad for the baby... Don't remember the details but I'd ask your Dr to be safe. Congrats though!
@ChristineShayne I've been told that handling bullets and guns is a huge issue while pregnant and that just washing hands doesn't actually protect. My cop friends requested immediate change of duties.

How you found out: I just found out just this morning. 😁 This Cycle was a very confusing one for me and I didn’t think it was gonna happen but I decided to take a test(which I normally don’t do) Got my BFP 17dpo. I O’d very early this cycle. CD 9 but wasn’t sure 100 percent. I took 2 cheapie tests and 2 digitals to be sure. All BFP ❤️ Confirmed at the docs today through a test. Didn’t have any symptoms other then I got a random nose bleed the other night which I thought was odd cause I never get nose bleeds. So I was like hmmm.. I wonder.
Hobbies, Job, etc: I am Canadian 🇨🇦 I am a Recreational Therapist at a care home for the elderly. I LOVE my job ❤️I like to travel, go to the gym, I do tap dance for the past 8 years and love that. I also love gardening, crocheting and crafts.
Spouse, Partner, Kids, or fur babies: Me and my Hubby just got married March 30th this year 😁 I Have no kids of my own but have a wonderful step daughter who’s almost 10. We also have 1 chihuahua named Torino and 1 cat named Rupert. Love my fur babies.
Anything you would like us to know?: Umm.. this is my first baby so I’m super excited and terrified and nervous and everything in between lol 🤨
I’m really looking forward to getting to know all of you here.
@pourmeanothermocktail @runwmusic I appreciate the concern but I was pregnant with my first when I was on patrol, but ended up going to light duty at around 9 weeks only because my morning (all day sickness) was so bad and I was puking on calls 😱 My doctor was fine with me waiting longer otherwise and leaves it to a personal decision. But I’m a Detective now so it’s a lot more office work these days.
@ChristineShayne Good! I would have thought that someone in that line of work would be wiser about Internet safety but I would also think that everyone would be wiser about it by now. But I’ve seen full names on ultrasounds with birthdates and the practice they’re going to, people with their full name as their email address using that email address for their SN and on and on. 🤦♀️ People amaze me with how casual they can be with personal information. Especially on a pregnancy forum. There’s a reason they put alarm systems on newborns in the hospital! 😬

Hello! Well my name is TisSian I am 25yo and this is my second pregnancy!
My first child is a wonderful little girl named Sapphire who is 3yo and by far best thing that’s ever happened to me.
I am currently due June 1st which should be exact since I know I conceived Sept 11th lol (I was trying hard) just had first ultrasound yesterday and it confirmed that.
I am married currently only 5 months but we have been together nearly 5 years lol. Engaged quite a while and dated quite awhile before getting together. Anyway we love to travel, experience new things and enjoy the holiday season! Like dressing up for Halloween this year our daughter is coralline and we are her other parents! I think I’ve talked enough but nice to meet everyone!
@horsesmeetbaby aww.. poor little kittens who lost their momma. I feel so sad the mom was hit on your road. That’s horrible. Good for you for bottle feeding them. ❤️ Send pics of kittens lol 🥰
@mindyb2019 Unfortunately the little tortoise shell passed. The two boys are headed for a check up today as we are concerned one may have parasites or a GI virus so keep your fingers crossed for them. They're so little!

Hi!! I’m pretty late to the party, just found out this morning.
- EDD (Estimated Due Date): 6/27 based on LMP, so it’s super early. I’ll be 4 weeks on Saturday.
- How you found out: currently on vacation and my husband and I had a little “oops” a couple weeks ago. We’ve been drinking and going in the hot tub on vacation so I decided to test this morning and it was positive. I didn’t want to ruin his vacation by telling him (this is unplanned), but was texting with my friend about it and he saw one of the texts. Oops. He is happy but we’re both very anxious.
- Hobbies, Job, Etc.: I am an attorney at a non-profit and outside of work I really only have time to parent and take care of the house and spend time with the family.
- Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies: Been married 4 years and we have a 3 year old and 1 year old, both boys. And a dog. I guess we’ll have 3 under 4 😬
- Anything you’d like us to know 🙂: this was not our plan and I’m still processing and kind of freaking out but trying to have faith that things will work out. Also I’m close with my July 18 group and looking forward to getting to know you all, as the support is so amazing to have during this time!
@zande2016 Welcome! I also have a 3 year old, 1 year old, 2 dogs, and an unplanned surprise coming! A week and a half after finding out I'm feeling much better, but still nervous!
