Ultrasound today went great. Baby's hear rate is 152bmp. I saw his little feet and toes and also, if there was any doubt, this is definitely a boy because we saw his parts.
I forgot to post this last Friday. But we did the elective ultrasound and MH was able to come! Also got a sneak peek into 3D, which was awesome. She was straight chillin’ in there lol 😎
@lalarose22 they found my bleed on the first ultrasound which was at 8 weeks. The OB told me that 75% of pregnancies have them. A lot are not detected because people don’t always have a us that early and usually resolve themselves. She didn’t seem very concerned about it just told me to have pelvic rest and no hard exercising. It was absorbed by 12 weeks. Your body may be just be taking longer to absorb it, I think mine was pretty small. I hope this can give you some reassurance that everything will be okay! Hugs.
Anatomy Scan pics! Baby was swimming around and didn't want us to take a closer look at the vessels in his heart, so I'll go back in two weeks to have that checked out. Everything else looks great and he is right on target!
Had my anatomy scan on Monday! She is measuring 3 days ahead and we couldn’t get two measurements of her face so I’ll get them done at the fetal echo on 6/29. Love that profile!
U/S on June 11th. She's a healthy little girl! I was 18w3d with an extended due date of Nov 13th. Here in Norway they measure the pregnancy a bit longer than in the USA. That means my due date the bump app gave me based on my LMP was a 4 days sooner. Not sure why but either way this baby will come on her birthday no matter what my due date is😁 it was a midwife who gave the U/S and she explained everything she was seeing while she was doing the scan! Another thing that's different here is that they only do one U/S during pregnancy unless there is a concern and they need more. So, typically this would be my only one but lucky me, there is a student who has been training that needs practice with U/S and she wasn't there that day so they're going to call me in July sometime and I'll get another peek at my baby 😍
17wk appt yesterday and got another look at the twins ❤ "Hidey" babe wasn't feeling photogenic (she's tucked to the side and behind the other twin) but she's doing great. So only got a pic of "Space hog" 😍 she's also doing great and was sucking on her fingers. Both babes were wiggly butts. Can't wait to see them again on 7/8 for the AS

We had our A/S yesterday at 20w4d. Just so so so excited to see her. We’re measuring 5 days ahead which goes along with my Halloween baby hunch. Just so excited 💝💝💝💝
A/S went well for the most part. I posted an update in the randoms thread, but basically baby boy is measuring on track but I do have marginal cord insertion, so they will keep an eye on that going forward. Here are a couple of the pics!
A/S went great, per the doctor everything looks awesome and right on track!! DS wasn’t too thrilled about the early appointment so he turned his back to us most of the time haha! We didn’t get a good profile but the tech said he has very long legs which explains why it feels like he’s trying to escape all day. Here is a pic of his long legs ☺️

Anatomy scan this morning! I was really disappointed that they didn’t let me video it for hubby especially since visitors are no longer allowed again due to recent spike in cases down here in FL. Got a few good pictures though. At firs we weren’t able to see a penis and ultrasound tech pointed out it was because he was holding onto it with his hand! 🤣 Typical boy! He eventually let go so we were able to fully confirm NIPT results. Lol Cute profile pic (I can already tell he has MHs profile just like DD does - his nose, lips, chin 😍)
SO was in heaven, he finally got to come. Anatomy scan this morning and today was the first time I felt like it was super really real 🤣 20 weeks and 4 days (measuring 2 days behind). After a blood test and 3 ultrasound confirmations, we’ve confirmed that she’s still a girl! 😂 but she’s perfect ❤️
Follow-up ultrasound this morning to check on baby boy's heart (couldn't get a good view during AS and it looked like his aorta might be narrow from the angle). Heart looked great! Two other things to monitor: 1) one kidney had more fluid than normal, she said it usually fixes itself as the baby gets bigger and 2) the umbilical cord attached to the end of the placenta instead of in the middle, she said this could cause baby to not get enough nutrients and affect growth but that so far all measurements looked good. Next ultrasound is scheduled for 5 weeks.
@kelk5 they found marginal cord insertion at my anatomy scan as well. OB said not to worry as long as baby keeps measuring properly! Glad the heart looked great ❤
I had my 20 week ultrasound. I managed to stay team green. For those that are team green what type of outfit will you be packing for the baby? Will it be neutral or boy and girl outfits?
@bundleofjoy4iluvu we were team green the first time. I packed a gender neutral outfit but once the baby was born had my mom go to the store and buy a few outfits. She brought them up to the hospital! This was obviously pre-covid though 😕
@bundleofjoy4iluvu I'm pretty not into gendered baby clothes, so we just took gender neutral clothes to the hospital and that's what he mostly wore in general.

We had our AS this morning! Got to see my little girl! She was very active and gave the tech a run for her money getting good shots of her heart, but we eventually got em! I didn’t hear much in the way of ‘good’ ‘bad‘ or ‘other’, but it was a treat to see that little love. She even blew me a kiss! We’re still under COVID precaution so my husband had to wait in the car (for an hour and a half 😬) but they gave us some extra pictures to make up for it.
@Ecat504 that is such a great pic with her legs tucked up I just called our hospital to confirm that MH could come to the AS tomorrow AM and he can! He is SOOOO excited.
@mama-buckets Awww what a sweet pic of her blowing you a kiss I've never seen an US pic from that angle/like that before how fun! That's such a bummer YH had to wait in the car

Had our A/S today, baby girl is looking great! I had to keep turning on my side so the tech could shake my tummy to try to get her to stretch out, she wanted to stay all balled up! She measured 4 days ahead (22w 2d) but I don’t believe they are going to change my due date. At least it wasn’t mentioned. They said she already weighs 1lb1oz, that seems so crazy! Weren’t these babies just the size of blueberries yesterday?? My son was big (9lbs) and my daughter was smaller (6lbs15oz) and I feel like this little girl is going to be big like her brother! DH was able to come and we were SO thankful. It’s so fun to get to see the baby, and we had an amazing tech who was pointing everything out to us as she looked at it. So cool!
Our anatomy scan went great this morning! Baby was kicking away at the ultrasound wand the whole time. He’s measuring five days ahead of schedule and is currently breech. My first son was breech so I’m curious to see how this one ends up!
@surlyjaneausten In case your interested when it gets closer to your due date and if baby is still breech, a friend of mine had luck making her breech baby turn by putting peppermint oil on the top of her belly near the babys head. She is a huge fan of essential oils and I don't know a lot about it so maybe do your own research but I thought it was interesting and worth a try if it would make the birth easier!
Got a 3-D image today at my ultrasound! They're so cool! Funny story, I was laying on the table with my ankles crossed and one arm behind my head and the ultrasound tech is doing her thing. All of a sudden she gets a good view of the whole baby and baby girl was laying just like me with her legs crossed and one arm behind her head!😄

@babywiik yes! That is one of the main reasons you have to stop peppermint oil after the 1st trimester as it can cause the baby to turn, but in your friend's case, the baby turned in a helpful direction! I was drinking it in my water during 1st trimester as it helped SO much with nausea.
Our baby Bridger on 7/1, measuring a week ahead (22+5) and already 1lb 5 oz. Lort! He was breech and squishy like a bug so we have to go back at the end of the month for them to get the detailed heart pics. Yay for a bonus ultrasound though, but now I’m wondering if everything looked ok with his heart or not. They saw the 4 chambers but that was the only pic they got. I don’t remember if they needed more than that or not with my previous 2, does anyone know?

@magdaaaa I *believe* aside from checking for the 4 chambers they look for the input/output vessels. Not sure if there's anything else. That's what the tech noted/talked about with Baby A and her measurements were all good.

@magdaaaa That happened to me. I had my 1st A/S at 19 weeks and had to come back at 21 weeks to complete pictures of the smaller vessels in the heart. Everything was totally normal and on track. The doctors was super reassuring at the 1st scan that they weren't asking me to come back because they saw something suspicious - Baby was just sooooo active that it was nearly impossible to get the pictures necessary. Definitely, don't worry too much about it! (also, you are going to have to tell me what Lort means? I looked it up and all I can find is League of Royal Theaters, which I doubt you mean, here. Also, it means sh*t in Danish?)
