Hi all. I'm Alicia. I'm a PhD student from Missouri studying over in Scotland. I've had some prior bad luck with mcs and I'm hoping that this is it! My EDD is around Nov 6 and this will be my first child. I'm into gaming, reading, and art.
Hi y'all! I'm a STM who lives off grid in northern California. I'm a teacher and small business owner who likes to cook, quilt and garden. I love to read (although hardly ever get to anymore), and love lots of nerdy stuff. I'm mom to an almost 2 year old DS, and am super excited for him to have a baby sibling - EDD 11/4! *TW* I had two MCs before having DS, so I'm a little nervous about this pregnancy, but hopeful! */TW*

Yay, I’m so excited the board is up!! I’m a preschool teacher (3/4s) in SC. This will be #3, I have a 7.5 year old DS and a 5 year old DD. They have been begging us for a baby for over a year now so I can’t wait to see their reactions when we tell them! I’m also into nerdy stuff and I love to read, though ever since having kids I don’t do it as much as I’d like to!
Hey ladies, my name is Ni, married mama of 3 boys 18, 7 and 5.5 with hopefully my princess due Nov 8th is on the way. I currently work as an office assistant, and have a small cleaning business on the side.
Hi I'm Myriam and I'm from Canada. It looks like EDD is November 2nd based on LMP or November 3 based on ovulation date or November 5 according to my GP 🤷♀️. Assuming it’s a healthy pregnancy, this will be our 1st child with our beloved 2 1/2 beagle Oliver. Although it’s all still feeling a bit surreal, I’m excited and thankful, as well as taking it one day at a time, one week at a time and one US at a time as we've had some unfortunate experiences in 2019! I stay busy working out as I used to play volleyball at a competitive level but had to stop when I got pregnant last October and didn't go back when things ended. So now I workout at the gym, do yoga, pilates and barre to stay sane as much of my life revolved around volleyball before!
Hey guys I'm sophie, I'm a sham and have a dd who will be 5 in june. We are a military family and currently live in hawaii but we are orginally from New York. I am currently working on becoming a certified aromatherapist but will have to put that on the back burner some. I homeschool and we will be team green. According to my app my edd is either 11/5 or 11/9. I cant see a doctor yet so its just a waiting game. Cant wait to get to know you all!!!
@kitkatz1990 My husband is actually Scottish & we met online through gaming. We visited each other during our undergrads and then I worked into getting into a graduate program here.
@mimser I'm hoping that this is your rainbow baby! @kitkatz1990 That's sweet that your kids are so excited! When will you tell them? @aliciaftw That's a cool story for how you met YH. Do you think you two will live in Scotland or the States long term?

@hedgepig The states, just because my PhD is coming to an end and I have a bigger support network there for raising a baby. However, we were originally planning to go back in November so our timeline is going to need adjusted... if I have the baby here, it would be completely free.. but a 17h trip home with a newborn sounds impossible and awful for the baby and other travellers. I don't know what we're going to do yet!
I’m 33 and this is our first pregnancy after almost 6 years of infertility. My DH and I will be married 10 years this October. I had a laparoscopy/hysteroscopy back in November and we had our first IUI since at the beginning of February. Our EDD is 11/1 based on LMP.
I work at a local children’s hospital as a microbiologist and also a dog mom. We have two pups! I love to read, bake, and bullet journal. We also just got a Peloton so I’m trying to get back into the swing of working out since it’s been a struggle since my surgery.
@hedgepig well, it’s kind of complicated. I’d like to be into the 2nd trimester before we tell them. The thing that makes it complicated is that my daughter goes to preschool at my school, and my son attends the after school program there and I am so terrified that if my coworkers find out that I’m pregnant, something might be accidentally said to my kids and that would just be HORRIBLE if they didn’t hear it from us. So we want to tell them first before anyone else, to make sure that doesn’t happen. Which means I have to hide this pregnancy from all of my coworkers until we are ready to tell the kids. I just hope this third baby belly doesn’t decide to pop out early, I am normally a slim person and if I start having a bump, people are definitely going to notice! I’m stressed about it, lol.
Hi everyone! FTM-to-be here, finally got my BFP after trying for a year. My SO and I are so excited this happened naturally as we were discussing going to a fertility clinic in the spring (soooo much easier this way, the nearest clinic is a 5hr drive from where we live). We live in Alberta, Canada with our 4 year old dog - she's going to be a great big sister. We both work in fairly demanding jobs doing mechanical/piping inspections in the oil field, I'm personally quite excited to take a step back once this little monkey comes along. It'll be refreshing to have something else to focus on.
My EDD is Nov 1 by my LMP and Nov 6 by my ovulation date. I've got an ultrasound in a week so I guess I'll get a better idea soon. 6ish weeks along and so far I feel like I'm winning the pregnancy symptoms lottery - boobs are barely sore, just a little achy (but god they're huge already, I've never been very well endowed haha), little to no morning sickness as long as I eat regularly, and minor cramps. Just peeing a lot and sleeping a lot when I can.
Every little tweak and twinge is making me nervous, so glad to have found somewhere to share my experiences and get support if I need it. We haven't told anyone the news yet. After my first ultrasound I think I'll tell a couple close friends (I mostly stopped drinking while TTC so that's not a dead giveaway for me, especially after trying for a year), and I think Easter would be a fun time to tell our parents, even if it's a bit before the 12-week mark.
FTM with an EDD of 10/6 as of my u/s last week. We saw a gestational sac and the yolk sac and for NOW things seem to be on track. *TW Although, this would make me a FTM - I’ve had 2 pregnancies in 2019 that resulted in losses around the 10 week mark. The PGAL brain is real. /TW*
As for me, I’m 34 and so is DH. We live in the center of the universe, Brooklyn, with our cute doggo and extensive record collection. I enjoy going to concerts, traveling, and petting all the dogs. I’m a pretty advanced home cook and am positively obsessed with SoulCylce. (Somebody mentioned getting a Peloton and I need to know how that is, since we are extending our apartment this year and I may have room for one).
Excited to get to know everybody here and looking forward to a happy and healthy 9 months to us all!!!
@laurenmicheley We got the Peloton this week, so I don’t think I’m that good of a judge at the moment. I pulled a muscle in my back the day we got it delivered so I got to use it for the first time yesterday. I’m aiming to use it again today but the nausea is not super motivating to work out. Lol
I do love the ease of the bike and the screen. It comes with a TON of classes. I have a few friends that have one and they seriously love it and use it constantly, so that’s what motivated me to get it. Plus we have a smart tv so I can use the app on there to do yoga and strength if I feel like it. Which is a bonus.
Hi Ladies! Nice to "meet" you all. I'm a SAHM to 3 little ones. DS just turned 3, and I have twin girls who are 16 months old. So, this will be our 4th earthly baby if all goes well (TW: we lost our first). My EDD is Nov. 9th, though that is my own calculation and could be off by a couple days. We were caught off guard this time around and it's still sinking in. I don't feel ready to have 4 under 4 in our little house, but we'll make it work!
I enjoy baking and knitting when I have the time. My lifelong dream has always been to be a mom, so I guess you could say it's turning out well!
Hi! We have three little ladies ages 7, 4, 2. Our new little person is due (per google) 11/2. I can’t wait to share these next couple months! We’re so over the moon!
@aliciaftw I’ve only traveled 13 hours with littles. Each kid travels differently. Kids 1 and 3 were AMAZING. Some airlines have bassinets for babies...that’s been pretty amazing.
Congratulations everyone! Should we do daily ticker change (see October board) or weekly Monday check-ins for each week of the birth month (see September board) threads?
Hey ladies! I’m a 31 year old mom of two, and this will be our 3rd LO! DD is 10, DS is 17 months, and we have 2 pups - Happy and Charlie. I’m a nurse, used to work in the hospital but moved to elementary school nursing when DS arrived for scheduling purposes. It’s a little dull, but also gives me plenty of time for my Etsy shop side hustle that has quickly become my main source of income. I love wreath making, cooking, yard work, TRAVELING, and dry humor. My EDD is 11/9 based on my google search results, so that’s likely completely wrong 😂
We’ve been trying for this little babe for 7 months and could not be more excited! So ready to get to know you all ❤️

Hi everyone! I I got a surprise BFP 2 weeks ago and got in to see a midwife last week because my LMP was May 2018 (never got a period after DS was born Jan '19). At the time I was not quite at 6 weeks since the baby wasn't visible on US but yolk sac and beta hcg coincide with that timeline. Not quite sure of EDD and have another US in 2 weeks. My first BMB was incredibly helpful as a FTM, we eventually moved to a private group on here then FB which is still active and I'm looking forward to another great experience!
@mimser I think at this early phase just a general check in would be good (since we're all provably the beginning of Nov) then as the group grows switch over to a daily or weekly
@aliciaftw I visited Glasgow and Edinburgh during college, it was amazing!
@mrswashbuckle we're also Team Green! Were you with your first too?
@mimser Great question! I'm good with either way and would love to hear what everyone says. I'm going to start a Randoms thread and we can move this convo there before it gets lost among the intros?

Hi! I'm Sarah, married just 3 months and we are already expecting our first baby ... still feels kind of surreal to write it out. We are super excited/terrified to be first time parents but in the midst of the craziness I am grateful to be here with all of you! Baby is expected to arrive November 9
Excited to be back! This is baby #3!! We’ve been trying since October. We had a loss on Christmas Day. Praying for a sticky baby this time. Our EDD is 11/15, but will likely have a routine C section 11/6 or 11/9 (11/5 is my birthday). I have 2 daughters L(5) and S(4). And one step daughter R(9). Can’t wait to go through this journey with you all. I was part of a birth month board with my oldest daughter S14, and we all still talk on FB daily. I’ve met a handful of them and hope to have the same bond with some of you!
Hi everyone! First time momma to be here. I got my BFP on 3/6! Took another the next day because I couldn’t believe it! I actually had a doctor’s appointment scheduled today (for unrelated pregnancy things) and they confirmed my pregnancy Super excited! My EDD is 11/11. My DH and I just moved to the PNW just under 9 months ago, so we’re still getting settled and don’t have a tight knit community to lean on. I’m a pediatric occupational therapist working in an outpatient clinic right now. Looking forward to going on this adventure with you all! Edit: I changed my username but it didn’t show up, what the heck? It shows it in my profile... Edit2: ha! Fixed it. Sorry about that.

Hello! So excited this is finally up. I am a Second time mom. DD is 13 months old. I am about 4 weeks pregnant and have my first appointment tomorrow. The bump group I am in with DD was huge for me after giving birth and we are still going strong on FB so I look forward to starting this journey with you all!
I am 32 tomorrow, live in Texas, and I am a dietitian for a consulting group where I work in skilled nursing facilities. Super excited about baby number 2 but also nervous!
I am 32 and this is my third pregnancy. The first I MC at 11 weeks, I was due 2/25/2016. My Rainbow Baby DD was born 02/23/2019. I just found out I am pregnant with our pot of gold, Due 11/11. I’m still trying to process how this is going to be with a newborn and less than 2 year old. Since I’m already in my 30’s when I had DD, I knew I wanted to have my next child soon after. But now I’m freaking out this is too soon.
My husband and I have been married 7 years. We live in south Texas. We both work a ton of hours(New Jobs). When pregnant with my DD I was fired at 37 weeks, so we have relocated. Now searching for a new doctor. And having nightmares about telling my employer. Eek!
I can’t wait to get to know everyone. I wasn’t as involved in my last board, but I am hopeful I can be in this one.
@potofgolden my first two are 13 months and 11 days apart. It’s a lot of work, honestly the newborn / toddler stage was pretty easy. As they were both toddlers it became a little more of a challenge but they played so well together and they entertained each other for as long as toddlers can be entertained (granted, sometimes it was doing things they shouldn’t have been, like climbing on counters to get to the chocolate syrup on top the fridge! Lol). And now that they’re school aged, they’re best friends and it makes my heart so happy. They fight and bicker like siblings but they don’t let anyone else pick on the other one.
@potofgolden south Texas here too! My DD was born 1/18/19 so close to same age difference. I am nervous but I think they will play great together in the long run
Hi! I’m Amy. This is my fourth pregnancy. I have an 8 yr old girl, 7 yr old boy and 4 yr old boy. I am due around November 13 ❤️ I am a 7th grade teacher and nervous about morning sickness since I already feel so gross and I’m only 4w4d along. Pregnancies are generally rough for me but I cannot wait for a new little squishy baby. This baby is very much so a surprise but we’re excited and I hope, for my daughter’s sake, that it’s a girl. Though I keep telling her that even if it’s a boy, we’re still going to be happy because a healthy baby is what matters most. Being a “geriatric” pregnancy worries me as well, as I am 37 and will be 38 when Baby is born. So many thoughts and emotions right now.
Hi! I'm Jessica. This is my second pregnancy. I have a little boy who just turned 2. My EDD is Nov. 3rd. I am an engineer and live in Northern Virginia (D.C. metro area). We are super excited to add to our family, I kind of hope its another boy so our son has a little buddy, but will be thrilled with a girl too. I had a relatively easy pregnancy with my son so I really hope that this one goes smooth too!
Hi ladies! My name is Sam! This is our 3rd baby. We also have an 8 year old son and a 3 year old daughter. Estimated due date is November 10, and we are so excited! I teach ESL to kids in China from home in the early morning/late nights and also substitute at a small Christian school. I also LOVE running and plan to hopefully keep that up throughout the pregnancy (if I'm feeling it of course) Super excited to be here and get to know you guys!
Hi All, I'm Cait! I am a mama to two girls an N14 (5yo) and J18 (2yo). I'm still active in both fb bump groups and have made some lifelong friendships. This'll be my first pregnancy as AMA (at the ripe old age of 35 turning 36...ha!). I'm also a teacher and am excited to go through this journey with you all. Due to irregular periods, I'm not sure of an EDD yet (my calculations are around 11/20), but I typically need to get a dating ultrasound, so I'll be calling in for one soon. I forgot how nerve wracking these first few weeks/months can be and I can't wait to get some confirmation/reassurance.
