Hi govanalyst86! I was wondering if anyone else from the March 2019 group would end up over here. Congrats to you, too, and I'm excited to share another pregnancy journey with you!
antsangel1118 I'm a librarian by training too! I was an academic librarian for 4 years before deciding to stay home with DS when he was born last March. I definitely miss the job though!
@auburnvelvet86 nice! What area do you live in? I have been with the library since 2008. We did move away for a few years, but when we moved back I went right back! I'd been just circulation staff/floater for wherever they needed me, but about a month and a half ago I was promoted to Reference! I don't have an MLS, so my technical title is Paraprofessional Reference Librarian, but I'm just gonna stick with librarian... lol
Hello all! I hope it’s okay if I join this group. My edd is technically 10/29 based on my lmp, but I haven’t had my first appointment yet so I don’t know how far along I’m tracking! With my last pregnancy my original due date was pushed back, so who knows! Anyway, I am a 31 year old preschool teacher from Iowa, and this is my second pregnancy! My ds is 7 and will be 8 in October. I was part of the nov 12 bump group with him! I’m excited to get to know everyone!
Hi Alicia! We have a lot in common! My EDD is November 6th as well, and I'm into gaming and art! I do not read that much though... I want to read more and it love reading! Just lazy lol
Hello, everyone! I live in Texas with my DH and our two sweet dogs. EDD November 22. We are excited and a little anxious to prepare for our first child.
**TW** I had a MMC and D&C on November 22, 2019. The date coincidence is a bit eerie. I feel fortunate to have conceived again soon after that difficult loss. **TW**
I work in theatre (for me that means teaching as an adjunct, directing and performing, and avoiding the big project of turning my dissertation into a book proposal). I love reading, baking, swimming, and traveling. And sleeping. We are planning a to build a raised bed garden for the fall growing season (TX has two).
I'm looking forward to learning more about your lives and journeys! A happy and healthy nine months to all.
@sjomomma yesss!! I thought that was you! I just ran over to fb to see if I missed your post! Sure enough, I did! Congrats! Happy to be here with you!!
Hello ladies! My name is Rachel and I'm a SAHM since my second baby was born last May. I have a 2 year old DD and 10 month old DS (16.5 months apart). My EDD based on LMP is 11/12/20. I'm still active with my BMB that moved to FB for my daughter and see some ladies on here I know. I started a BMB with my son but between work, a baby at home, and being active in my J18 group it was too much for me to keep up with, especially when my due date changed months but I'm going to try with this group. **TW** This my 5th pregnancy so I'm nervous as I'm at a 50% success rate with the first 4. 🤞 Baby makes it **TW**
antsangel1118 I'm in Minneapolis and worked at two local university libraries. While I do value my MLIS, I have to say, there were so many fantastic librarians I worked with who didn't have the degree that in the end it always felt kind of secondary to the amazing passion and knowledge that those dedicated to the field had! I'll try not to too obviously live vicariously through you!
I got my BFP yesterday and feel so blessed and lucky to be here. I was tracking my cycle so based on ovulation I believe due date will be 11/23.
I’m 30 and DH is 38 and we live in FL. This baby will make me a STM. Our DD is 5 and has been begging us for a brother or sister for about 1 year and a half now! We are beyond excited at the prospect of being able to give her one finally (though we haven’t told her yet - just want to at least have the first doctors visit and make sure everything is on track). I was very active on the Dec 2014 BMB when I was pregnant with her and I am still in contact with many ladies from that board.
I was most recently active on the TTGP board since getting my IUD out in November. It was amazing to be a part of such a supportive group over there and I am very happy to see a couple names from over there that have also moved on here.
Looking forward to getting to know you all over the next 9 months!
FTM after 4 years TTC, the last year of which was spent on IVF. This was my fifth embryo transfer. We had three previous failures and I had a chemical in October. We decided to take time off before transfering again in Feb. EDD Nov. 6th. I'm terrified because of how long it's taken us to get here. I had some spotting last week, adding to my worry, but my RE was confident there was nothing to worry about. We're taking this whole thing one day at a time. Looking forward to Thursday when we, hopefully, can see our LO's heartbeat.
Hi everyone! I am from San Francisco and will be 6 weeks tomorrow EDD is 11/9 but had my first daughter at 38 weeks so my doctor said to potentially expect the same this time around! I have a daughter who just turned 3 and had 2 miscarriages in 2019 so I am cautiously optimistic this time around. I really can’t wait to see that little heartbeat but with everything that is going on I may not get an appointment for awhile which is nerve wracking! Nice to meet everyone!
Hi all! I am a 2nd time mom! I just found out I am about 5w 4d pregnant today! My daughter is 13 months old. We weren't planning to have another baby yet, but we are excited for this huge blessing! My due date is around November 13th.
Hello Ladies! EDD of 11/24. We have been TTC but this cycle we were slacking so I was shocked when I got the BFP. I nervous and excited! I have an almost 19 month old son and I talk to my A18 moms on FB pretty much everyday so I am looking forward to getting to know all of you over the next 9 or so months.
Hi everyone! Finally got a BFP on Saturday after TTC for a bit over a year. I’m only 11DPO and am hoping I get to stick around for the long haul. EDD is Nov 26th. Trying not to get too ahead of myself, but I’m just so excited to finally see a positive test! I’m 31 and work in wine sales in Southern California. It’ll feel like such a long wait until I get to a dr appt and am glad I can at least share everything here. Super excited to get to know everyone!
@auburnvelvet86 haha don't be too jealous at the moment. While I normally love my job, as of Friday the PA Governor mandated all schools, libraries, and museums to be shut down for 2 weeks. Today, added to that was all non essential stores, such as liquor stores and shopping malls, and dining rooms in restaurants. Basically everything is shut down except hospitals, grocery stores, and gas stations, and some restaurants as long as it is carryout/delivery service only. So I still get to go to work for now, but without having the public to serve, it is much more boring trying to find work to do! I'm not sure if we will continue to go in these for this full time we are closed to the public, but regardless it sounds like we will be paid because the president of the board voiced his desire that we are paid regardless of whether we are allowed to work or not.
I'm Ashley, and I'm rolling up here with my third pregnancy. I have an 11-year-old son and a 2-year-old-daughter -- and in fact, several of my J18 buddies are here with upcoming newbies as well! I only got my IUD out on February 3rd and didn't really have a period, soooo best estimates are around 11/23 for this one? I imagine we'll find out when I eventually bother to call the OB's office. Given the state of things plus knowing they don't schedule anything until at least 8 weeks, I'm not rushing.
I'm 33, work in IT support, and am hoping this is a chill pregnancy. I have a good physical track record with pregnancy, but a nightmare of a mental health one. (And in fact, until January the husband and I were certain that we weren't going to have any more kids, with that being a huge factor.)
I'm overly verbose, write fiction, am very into sci-fi, and will overshare like a mofo. Cheers!
I'm going to re-do my introduction seems how I didn't really even say anything about myself. 😂
I'm Heidi, I am 30 and this will be my husband and I's second. We have a 4 year old (in june) daughter. Our 10 year wedding anniversary is coming up in August and our new baby EDD is around November 18th. I am a nurse but have not been working as one since this past November. I am now a SAHM for now.
My first ended in a unplanned last minute decision c-section. Even after going into labor and water breaking on its own. I stopped progressing at 8cm after 19hrs of labor. The Pitocin that had been started stressed baby out and ended up dropping her HR to the mid 40's. I was told I should plan for all my future babies to be born via c-section "her head was too big to fit so apparently all my babies heads will be too big" .🙄 so we shall see. Anyways excited to be here!
FTM here with a due date of Nov. 1, based on a dating ultrasound last week. I'm 29 and my husband and I were a little surprised as we've been NTNP for 3ish years. I have mild PCOS so we had started to assume we would need a little more medical intervention to conceive.
I live in Iowa and have 3 spoiled dogs of my own, I also have a small pet care business.
I'm very excited and quite nervous at the same time, I've dealt with anxiety/depression for a long time, so my emotions are a little wild right now. But I'm looking forward to getting to know this group and sharing the journey with you.
Hey everyone! My name is Jasmine Blunt and I am a NICU Nurse from Maryland! I’m 23 years old, engaged to my amazing fiancé and we are expecting our first child on our anniversary Nov 17 ( how ironic right?)! We are definitely shocked about this pregnancy because I have PCOS and knew my chances of conceiving were low so we were not trying. But we are so overjoyed we did.
Hi everyone! I’m Elisabeth I’m a stay at home mama to a four year old daughter, Adelee...this is my second pregnancy and it’s been a minute 😅 so I feel like I’m doing this for the first time all over again! We were actually beginning the process of working towards adopting after trying to conceive for over a year, but surprise surprise! So here I am. It still feels very new and very fragile...I had a little bit of spotting last week around 5 weeks that’s been making me feel like I’m walking on eggshells this time around. I also had gestational diabetes with my first pregnancy (when I’m not pregnant I’m a petite 100 lbs with no family history - my OB was shocked) so I’m also feeling very nervous about dealing with that a second time. Anyway! Definitely looking forward to getting to know everyone and hopefully receive/extend some encouragement 💕
Hi all! My name is Jessica, and I’m a first time mom-to-be, EDD is November 23. I live in Toronto, Canada and my husband and I have been married for two years now. This was our first month trying, so we are kind of in shock but very excited! Very happy to have this group to go to for advice (seems like we’ve got a lot of experienced moms here!) and to get to know you all while we through this journey together!
Hi everyone! First time mom here! Just found out I’m pregnant EDD Nov 25th per my calculation. I am currently finishing my last year as a Pediatric resident. Recently got married in October and now we are expecting a baby! I will be starting a new job in July and moving at the same time. A lot of change happening! I am excited and also nervous.
Hello everyone! My name is Nancy and this is my first pregnancy. I'm 23 and EDD is Nov 9th. I'm originally from the PNW but moved to Norway (where my husband is from) after getting married in December. In December, I also I graduated with my associates degree in ECE. I loved my work with little kids but so far can't work here in Norway until I receive my residency permit. Other than that, I enjoy spending time with my husband, being outside and knitting. It's so fun to have a baby to knit for now😁 I look forward to getting to know you all throughout this journey!
I’m a 24 year old Step Mom who struggles with PCOS and I just found out I’m pregnant for the first time. I can hardly believe it and I’m so glad I found a place to leak all my thoughts. I told my mom and no one else. Planning a special way to tell my partner.
Hello Mamas! My name is Tara and I’m 32 years old. My husband and I have a beautiful little girl who will be 5 September. I am pregnant with baby #2! We’ve been trying since September, so we are very excited. My Nana passed away on March 2nd and before she passed away she said “I promise when I get up there, I’ll send you another beautiful baby”, so this is extra special to me. I’m an elementary school teacher so at home for the time being with the closures. Sending lots of good luck to you all!😊
@babywiik We were just in Norway a few weeks ago,i rbefore the lockdown. I have a friend who lives there currently and we were visiting her. Had a lot of fun. We were traveling with a 2 year old and 10 month old so we stayed around Oslo but got in some great hikes and some snow.
Hi all! FTM here at 43 ... had my first FET last month and am currently 6 wks 4 days with a PGS tested normal girl. Everything so far has been fine - which has me very, very anxious! My husband has been a rock, but I think the hormones are knocking me a bit off-kilter...everything about this experience is so new to me, and statistically should be a long shot given my age, so the fact that hcg, size and heartbeat all look solid so far feels way too good to be true...I feel like I can’t relax for even a moment! Which can’t be good for the baby 😳 (Accidentally starting to buy an apartment right before the current shutdown isn’t helping...) Just trying to sit tight right now and hope for the best - and that things are a lot calmer come fall...
I’m a 38yo STM, with a DS who is about to turn 4. DH and I had been trying since 10/17 to have another baby but just had “unexplained” secondary infertility. We tried 5 IUI cycles with no luck:(
Now pregnant with a donated embryo: we implanted last Monday and I just found out yesterday that it worked; we are thrilled. Due date 11/22:)
I’m a professor in NJ, with two cats and a dog.
I’m actually really nervous: I don’t remember what it was like being pregnant, only that I really loved it, and because it was such a struggle to get pregnant, I am nervous that there is something wrong with me that was keeping me from getting pregnant before and that will make this pregnancy unsuccessful:(
I have a lot of kids. 😅 One 14-yo stepson, a 10-yo boy, 4-yo girl, and 2-yo boy. Now we’re expecting Nov 15! So I’m really excited. And yes, I’ve given in and joined team 🚘 minivan.
Currently a SAHM who’s been homeschooling since before it mandatory 😉. I enjoy gardening, reading, cooking, baking, hiking, going on little adventures, bible prophecy, and having a good cup of hot coffee or tea with friends while our kids entertain each other. My education is in psychology/counseling, but now I spend a lot of team reading about nutrition, homesteading, autism, education, and natural childbirth/parenting.
