Hi there, I'm Abigail, and this is my first time being pregnant, so a little nervous overall. My EDD is 25 Mar 2020 (5+3). I found out because, even though I was pretty sure I wasn't pregnant, my boobs had been hurting while I was at PT and I was a day late, took a pregnancy test (or 8) and was pleasantly surprised. I'm an officer in the Air Force, so life is a little hectic by nature. My husband is also in the Air Force and we've been long distance for the last 7 months, so all of our visits have been timed around when I was ovulating; it'll be nice to not have that scheduling hurdle. I enjoy working out, cooking, reading, anything outdoors, and loudly cheering for my Denver Broncos.
My name is Rhea and my EDD is 3/27/20. I had an MC in December and started tracking my BBT and doing ovulation tests monthly after. Didn’t really think it was a good month this month but took a test the day before AF was due and voila! So very cautiously excited right now.
I manage the events and event rentals for an amazing art museum and I’m a face painter on the side. Can’t wait til I’m showing and will get all kinds of questions from the kids!
My husband and I just celebrated our 2nd anniversary on 7/7 and we have two kitties.
My name is Mandie and my EDD is 3.15.2020. I am very quietly and cautiously excited to be joining this group but am trying to just take things day by day. I had a MC in September of last year and took some time off from TTC until recently.
I work as a mental health therapist for families who have a youth involved in the juvenile justice system. My husband is an engineer and we have one fur-baby: a golden retriever named Luna. Looking forward to a supportive community during this whole process and hoping for good things at my first appointment on 8/12.
My name is Malarie. My due date is March 29. I knew I was pregnant before my period was due and before I tested because I was experiencing a tiredness I only associate with being knocked up.
I have a 2 1/2 year old daughter and I am so thrilled to be making her a big sister. Its been a tough road for my husband and I. This is my 9th pregnancy but it feels strong like my daughters did. We are lucky to be at a fertility clinic so are monitoring betas and scheduled for an early ultrasound to make sure everything looks good!
I am a Rail Controller and my husband is a Bus Operator.
I love chasing my daughter around. Quilting when I have the energy and baking.
- We found out I was pregnant because I was peeing a ton and craving Chocolate. Prior to taking a home pregnancy test, I made a late night mad dash to 7/11 with an urgent need for a candy bar. Which is very unlike me. I hardly eat candy. The following night, I took a HPT and the result was positive. My husband and I were so happy to learn the news!
- Hobbies I enjoy are cycle class, Yoga, reading and streaming shows online.
- Our family is just the two of us. We don't have pets now but maybe in the future. As for work, we work from home for the same accounting company. My Husband has worked in accounting much longer than me. I am a new employee and doing entry level accounting. Prior to working in accounting I worked as a Nanny and before that I taught preschool. As new parents we appreciate the flexibility of working from home. This will be our first child and we are very excited to be growing our family size.
I look forward to making new friends and I am grateful for this supportful community of Momma's! 🙂
I’m older, 40, and I have a 5 year old. After years of nothing and miscarriages, we went for IVF, two retrievals and three transfers with zero success. This was a HUGE surprise, as we had closed the door.
My EDD is 3/24.
I was almost too too superstitious to post here. DH is an english professor and I’m a chem teacher in NYC.
I am due 3/3/20 with first at 35yo. I am extremely regular and found out after taking test at home after being a week late. Baby was complete surprise, fiance had testicular cancer and is on testosterone injections due to low hormones and we were always told natural conception would be impossible. We have been banking sperm for when we planned ivf. This was such a surprise! Feeling nervous for healthy pregnancy and also having extreme nausea has been challenging these last weeks. Excited though.
Current mom to 3 furbabies 🐕 🐕 🐈, 1 🐢, 1 🐦. We will have a full house.
Hello! My name is Alora. I am 6 weeks and 6 days pregnant! I found out at 4 weeks and 5 days. I am an Esthetician and my fiancé works for a roadwork company. We have 2 fur babies, my miniature poodle Daisy who is 2, and his Husky Mix who is going to be 2 this year! We have been together for 2 years and are beyond excited to meet our little one and start our family together!
Hi everyone! Im kind of late to the party but better late than never! My EDD is March 1st. I’m 9 weeks today. I actually found out thinking i had just gotten my period and then Bam! Positive pregnancy test This is my second pregnancy and will be our rainbow baby as well as our first born.
I’m still super nervous and feel like I can’t breath until Sept 1st( 2nd trimester), but still trying to enjoy this journey.I’ve been married for 4 years and have been a speech language pathologist for 8 years. We also have our 3 year old fur baby named Chanel🐶 I love to chill with my Netflix, read, and listen to podcasts. So excited to be part of this group, wishing everyone a healthy pregnancy!
Hey y’all! I’m Kristin, 1st time pregnancy through IVF. My Hubby and I live in steamy hot Houston with our 2 fur babies. Our EDD is 3/20; a baby boy! We are so beyond excited and have our 1st US tomorrow. I’m new to all of these pregnancy acronyms- LMK if there’s a list anywhere. 🤷🏼♀️
I work in Marketing in the media industry and am actually on a leave for the 1st tri. Because of my age, 40 (why is 40 considered geriatric 🤦🏼♀️), our fertility Dr wanted me to have as little stress as possible to increase our chances for success: it’s been so nice to have this mental break. Oh, and I’m accepting book and binge-worthy show recommendations.
Like many of y’all, I am filled with mixed emotions, along with the overflowing amount of hormones; worrying about everything. We are still having to stick to our IVF meds protocol. But, I will do anything to keep this sweet boy growing and developing!
Can’t wait to build a community with y’all!!! Congrats to all!
@thesherwoods2019 first congratulations on your pregnancy! Could you please remove the line “baby dust” from your intro as it is an unacceptable phrase here on the bump. TW Mom’s who have had to cremate their babies find it hurtful. Thank you!

Hi, I’m Kristy! My little one is due March 23rd. This will be my first pregnancy! I’m both excited and nervous for the journey ahead and eager for all the advice I can get. I work with kids for a living as a mental health therapist. My husband is a great teammate and can’t wait to see him become a father. We live in California and love biking to the beach 🌴
I’m Aimee and my EDD is March 22, 2020. Even though we started trying in May and had a chemical pregnancy last month, this was a big surprise.
This will be our first baby; I’m excited and nervous at the same time! I can’t wait to start telling our friends and family—we’ve only been married since Oct. last year but already getting so many q’s about kids! At the same time want to be super cautious because of what happened last month.
DH and I live in NYC but we’re both originally from California. I’m 32 and he’s turning 32 in Sept. We love hiking, checking out new restaurants in the city and hanging out with our cat. Excited to be part of the community!
Hello darlings I am 30 and this is my fourth babe due March 12th. My husband and I have a DS 6, DD 4, and DS that is 17 months. Also two bunnies and three cats.

Hi everyone! This is my first pregnancy. Due March 9th! We've been lazily trying for 2 years with no luck. Thought it wouldn't happen bc I have PCOS and I refuse to pay crazy prices at the doctor to go through fertility treatments (not judging anyone who does though!) Had my first US today and it still doesn't feel real! Saw his or hertiny heart beating. It's so insane! I'm so excited! I'm a 33 yo teachers aide from upstate NY. I also draw photo realistic animal portraits in my free time! I'm so excited to finally be a mom!
Hey, Im Sarah. Im 38 (Ill be 39 when this kiddo is born) - EDD: March 28 - How you found out: I took a test. - Hobbies, Job, Etc.: I am an architect and my "me" time is spent at the gym. - Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies: I have a husband of almost 14 years and a 4.5 year old son.
Hi all,
My name is Jenna and i’m 8 weeks pregnant with my 3rd. I’m due March 6th. I have one DS who is 7 and another DS who is 5. I found out I was pregnant about 4 weeks ago but I didn’t post in here because I was having anxiety surrounding the pregnancy. I’m 34 and DH and I thought we were done having kids. Needless to say this is a shocker and i’ve been thrown for a loop!
I’m now starting to get excited about this pregnancy and my only wish is for a happy and healthy baby! My first midwife appointment is on Aug 9th and I can’t wait to hear the baby’s heartbeat 😊.
knottie90518be80709a97f Hi! Welcome! Check out the thread about Knottie usernames and see if you can get yours changed so we can get to know you better and tag you WAY easier.
I’m so excited to share the news with other Mommas! My name is Dawna, I’m 27 years old and I’m about 5 weeks pregnant. My estimated due date is the end of March. My partner and I have been slowly preparing for baby over the past year, reading books, gathering some furniture, planning, etc. At the end of June we officially started trying and well low and behold our baby is on the way! We found out last Wednesday. I took the test first thing in the morning and we both went to look at the same time. At first I thought it was negative but I saw the faint line and was completely shocked! I took another, more expensive test, on Saturday and positive. We are completely overjoyed!! We also have two tuxedo cats, sisters, who are probably not excited but one of them started sleeping with me which is totally not normal. I think she might know how much our life is beginning to change. I’m looking forward to sharing the news with family but it’ll be our little secret for a couple months! Eek! Not sure how long I can stay quiet, especially since family has been asking when we’ll have a baby. Haha
Congratulations to all of the beautiful Moms! I’m so glad we have each other now!
Hi ladies!!! My EED is 3/30. I found out I was pregnant last week. I'm 33 and this is baby #2 for me and is totally unexpected! I have a 3 year old daughter and have been with my boyfriend for about a year and a half. I just recently decided to pursue my passion and start a photography business and we are having a home built that won't be done until April/May 2020... So this news definitely caught us off guard. We had an broken condom situation once last month and used a Plan B which obviously didn't work!! But, my BF is beyond excited. This is his first, although he treats my daughter like his own. Definitely unplanned but still feeling very blessed!
STM , we have a 21month old daughter and are due I think around 27th March (so just on 6 weeks now) (doc appt tomorrow, and will book scans in from there )
with my daughter ,due to irregular and often long cycles , and trying for 5 years (unassisted as we had a what will be philosophy to it) it was no longer on the radar and I didnt even get a hot till I was already 6weeks this time I knew . it's the weirdest thing. we only just started no longer preventing a month ago . and I swear I have just felt pregnant since around a week after ovulation I also had cramping just for about 1 hr on and off nina single spot which I suspect is implantation as I no longer feel normal period cramps thanks to having a csection . I took 2 tests quite early (too early , they were neg) so then I was patient and waited till I missed my period , I even waited 1 week as I have a history of longer cycles I thought maybe I'm wrong I'll wait till day 37 (last Thursday) . and yep positive I'm not sure how I just knew when I was so oblivious the first time .
Hi ladies!!! My name is reese, my hubby and I just got married on July 4th and we surprisingly conceived a honeymoon baby! 🥰 were thrilled. This is my second pregnancy, I have a ten year old son from a previous relationship. My due date Is looking like March 31st, maybe April? Hoping it’s ok if I stay here!
Hi everyone! I've been patiently waiting to post until I was approved this morning!! I haven't told anyone but my husband so far, and I've been about to burst wanting to talk about it!
My EDD is March 27, and I'm 6 weeks today.
Funny story on how we found out. I was anxious so I took an early response test 2 days before my period, and it was negative. The day of my period, I had a work trip and was set to fly out late Monday night. I wasn't planning on bringing a test with me, I figured I would just see if I got my period or not. Then, we had a wild storm come barrelling through. My husband called to tell me a tree fell on our roof, so I cancelled my trip and went home. I had a feeling that I should take a pregnancy test, because the timing would be incredible: tree falls on our house and we're pregnant with our first... well sure enough, that's what happened! Life is funny sometimes.
Note: We were lucky with the tree, it hit a spare bedroom, so we can still live in our house. We have a big tarp on the roof right now, and the insurance company seems to think that's totally fine, because we are still waiting for our estimate from them.
In other news - I'm a corporate tax consultant and my husband is an engineer. We moved into the suburbs last year, so our hobbies lately have been a lot of yard work, gardening, and watching birds (who have I become?!)
Looking forward to going on this journey with all of you!
Hello everyone, my name is bonnie I'm 41 have been married to my husband for 3 years our youngest is 2, we are due with our lil bean april 3rd but because of my age baby will be here in the end of march! I am 5 w 2 days today so far everything is looking great. Between my husband and I we have 4 boys and 1 girl ages 16,15,14,12,2 and our lil bean on the way will make #6. I pray we all have happy health pregnancies and babies.
Hey, I'm Angie! I'm 6 weeks, today, (EDD 3/29) though the dating is slightly iffy because I'm coming off of a miscarriage in June and didn't have a period, but know when I ovulated. This is my 3rd pregnancy and I have one living daughter (3.5 yrs).
I'm a Chicago native and a professional nanny of 9 years, in my 5th year of caring for two awesome kids (5 and thisclose to 3) along with my daughter.
I'm a beer geek who lost 2 dresses sizes, my first pregnancy, because of the lack of beer, and have tried nearly every NA beer. So hit me up, if you're looking for recommendations!
I’m Marisa. I’m 27 years old from Pittsburgh! I am officially 10w today. At my first US when I thought I was 9w, I was actually my 8w along. I did have a miscarriage back in April so my Dr. wanted me to get an early US. My NEW EDD is March 1, 2020. The little babe was measuring 8 days earlier than what my hubby and I thought. We are so excited as he/ she will be our first baby! I’ve already been prepping our 3rd bedroom for a nursery. We are beginning to tell our close family members and soon enough our best friends. I’m a special ed teacher, so this summer has been a blessing during the first trimester. I’m dreading going back to work but looking forward to a consistent schedule again. Any other teachers out there!? Wondering how this maternity leave is going to look like? I obviously want to take a 12 week leave...
Happy Pregnancy to all! I can’t wait for my bump to make an appearance!
My name is Marilin and my husband and I are merely 8 weeks pregnant with our second child. We are both 30, and share a 14month old son. My husband works in construction and previous to our first child, I worked for a school district as a bilingual teacher. We are excited for another child. However, this pregnancy has started off rough. Joint pain and possible carpal tunnel makes daily tasks painful and difficult. I also have alot of water retention in wrists and legs. This all began at 3weeks (I tested early at only 2 weeks after conception-or husband's lack of self control lol). Doctors find it so odd to be having such symptoms this early. And from what I read, it could be a sign of multiples...which do run on both sides of the family. I will find out the 22nd at my first ultrasound. Side note: I was diagnosed with narcolepsy with cataplexy in 2014. Pregnancy without stimulants is super challenging especially while also caring for a 1 year old (hence the username sleepymom88).But God has a way of making mommy's be able to do all that is necessary to be a mom. I do get help from my mom, friends and family.
I look forward to giving and gaining advice/support to and from other mommy's! I wouldn't have made it through my first pregnancy without the support and tips I received from the BUMP community.

Happy Pregnancy to all! I can’t wait for my bump to make an appearance!

I look forward to giving and gaining advice/support to and from other mommy's! I wouldn't have made it through my first pregnancy without the support and tips I received from the BUMP community.
