Hi all! I’m an oldie who hasn’t been around for awhile. My intro:
- EDD 9/3 - 37yo, aka elderly multigravida with a geriatric pregnancy - Daughter is 4.5yo, super spirited, with mild autism - Husband is a SAHD, I work in health care - This was a surprise pregnancy. I had urgent spine surgery on my neck in mid-Dec (UPT neg at the time). Due to all the pain I had pre-op, we were barely having sex. We found out nine days post-op on our 10th anniversary. I took a test just before opening a 2nd bottle of wine when it occurred to me that I was late. 😬🤷🏼♀️
*TW: loss* - I was active in the loss community in 2013-2014 after having 2 1st tri losses before my 4.5yo daughter (was active in April 14 BMB, was PgAL check-in leader there) and then 2 after her.
Excited to be here as I am still really close with a lot of people I met in the AL community and on A14. Hope I get to stay!
Hi everyone! This will be my second baby.I have a 13 month old. I have been with my fiance for almost 5 years. We had planned on a summer back yard wedding this year, but we might have to rethink that now lol.
Hi everyone. FTM here. My husband and I were married 3/25/17. We were ttc for 4 months before I got my BFP on 12/24 when testing to make sure I could drink at a family party... but happily I was not able to drink that night!!! Told my husband on 12/28 and had a transvaginal ultrasound on 1/2 due to some pain on my left side. I got to see my little black hole at 4w6d exactly where it should be! Due date is either 9/5 or 9/6. Super excited to be on this journey!
@flowerintherain I spend way too much time on TB so I recognize your name and story. I’m so sorry for what you’ve been through but am very happy you’re here!! Best wishes to you for a healthy, easy pregnancy and beyond ❤️
My EDD is September 14th, but I will have a repeat CS so probably will deliver at 39 weeks.
I have a 5.5 year old DS and a 3.5 year old DD. *TW LOSS* I had a MMC at nearly 13 weeks with my first pregnancy and usually have a lot of anxiety when pregnant because of that experience. *end of TW*
Other than that, I love the beach, chocolate, and coffee. I am currently enjoying a mug because I know that with my previous pregnancies, coffee was one of my biggest aversions once MS kicked in.
I'm 31, DH and I are highschool sweethearts andahave been together for 17 years, married for 4 (I know, we took out sweet time )
We've been actively trying for 2.5 years and have experienced multiple 1st trimester losses during that time so I am hoping and praying this time around and am cautiously optimistic.
Trying to get used to the abbreviations so sorry if I missed anything!
Hi everyone. DH and I live in NY and will be married 5 years in April. I was a teacher and am now a SAHM. We have two cats and a 3.5 yo, 2 yo and a 6 mo so this will be baby number 4. I had a feeling I was pregnant again but was super nervous to take the test because I’m not too sure how hubby will feel about it. My EDD is 9/1 but I’ll be a RCS at 39 weeks. Looking forward to the journey with everyone.
@aawalz13 Congrats! Just curious, have you had all csections so far? I'm only asking because I was really set on having four and at my annual, my OB said she wouldn't recommend more than 3 csections. It really threw me for a loop.
I’m a 31 year old FTM with an EDD of Sept 11. I live with my H and pup in British Columbia. Being pregnant still feels somewhat surreal to me. I’m excited to connect with and learn from others going through similar experiences.
Hey everyone! Excited to meet you all and to be on this path with you. I’m also a newbie around here, im a FTM with an EDD of 9/5. First appointment for bloodwork and ultrasound will be on 1/28. DH and I both work from home together, and are moving from New York to Louisiana this month. Lots of changes for this next year! It’s a little intimidating leaving our support network, and navigating a whole new set of doctors and healthcare systems, but I’m overall excited!
Third kid: Due 11/6 Second kid: Dec 2021 First kid: Sept 2019
Hello everyone! I am a first timer on here & just found out I am expecting for the first time! Our due date (I believe) is September 5th but that could change with our first appointment on 1/28. I have been married for 2 years this month and we are very excited/nervous about this next step. We have a 3 year old doggy who will be very jealous when she realizes someone new is moving in! We live in New England and I see there a few other New Englanders on here as well! Go Pats!
Hi everyone and congrats on your pregnancy! I’m a STM, EDD Sept 14th. I was not active on my last BMB, but look forward to the community it offers this time around.
I live in Texas with my DH of 5 years and 12 month old DS. We also have a 5 year old Great Dane. I left a job I enjoyed when my son was 6 months old and have loved being a SAHM ever since.
I’m looking forward to this pregnancy, but going into it with trepidation as I developed preeclampsia in my last pregnancy at 34 weeks and deliverd DS at 35 weeks. He spent two weeks in the NICU. I’m excited to be here and look forward to getting to know all of you.
Hello everyone! I just found out today that I am pregnant with my second! I have a two year old daughter and my EDD is 9/19/19. I was active in TTGP when I was trying for my first and part of my first BMB and still love our Facebook group!
Hi! I am excited and surprised to be here! I received my BFP last week and received my blood results back today confirming pregnancy. This is my first, EDD is 9/17/19.
My DH and I have been married just over a year (Nov. 25). We lost our elderly boxer this past fall, which was a hard end to the year. We are starting 2019 realizing we have a new boxer puppy coming this spring and a baby this fall. We are nervous, but also excited. Nice to meet every one!
@mommyshark13 Hi! Congratulations to you too!! Yes, all 3 were sections. They were horizontal and my dr goes through the same incision each time and cuts away the scar tissue. Not sure if that makes a difference? I know they don’t always recommend more than 3 but my dr never mentioned it and even joked about a fourth because they are all so close together. Lol
Hey everyone! Cautiously posting here but I’m also excited to be here! STM here and I was part of the F17 BMB I have a little girl who will be 2 next month and am currently expecting baby #2 coming September 4th!
Due 09/12 based on my December LMP but had what I thought was AF last week, seemed totally normal and right on time. I wasn’t feeling well yesterday or today and so I decided to take a digital so I would be clear with it either saying yes or no and I could not have been more shocked to see it say yes +. Especially after I had a stark negative the day AF was due. I called to make a first appointment and thought they would want me to do blood work since I thought I had a period , but they said it was normal and I’ll go in early February sooo here we are!
I have a DS born March 2017, I was sort of active in the beginning but didn’t stick with it, hoping to get to know more people this time around! Congrats everyone!
I’ll be a new FT mom with this little bean’s arrival, EDD is Sept 4th. My husband and I have been married for about a year and a half and were so excited to get our BFP on Christmas Day!
****TW**** I had a miscarriage in August when I was about 6 weeks along. I can’t explain it but during that pregnancy I always had a gut feeling that something was wrong and it wasn’t going to make it full term. I don’t have that feeling this time around though, so trying to stay positive and not be an anxious mess! ****END TW****
We’re from a smaller town in NE and I’m a night shift oncology nurse. Hubs is a teacher/coach. We have a kitten named Chip and I’m loving the excuse to have only my hubs clean the litter box
@mommyshark13 I’m curious to know too. Keep me posted! My dr is a little off the cuff and was asking me if we would be back next year as I was on the operating table getting the spinal for my second. Lol He’s always like the more the merrier. I will say my first two sections were insanely easy. No pain and with my second I was playing with my son and going on walks the week we got home. My third kicked my butt hardcore. I totally wasn’t expecting it at all. Then I heard the fourth is easy. Good luck to you! ☺️
Very cautiously introducing myself here. 36 years old, STM. We have 2.5 year old daughter who is the light of our lives. EDD 9/15/19 - We will be team green! (As we were with #1!)
I was active on June 16 & am still very close with a large group of women from that board (we migrated to FB)
*TW* We experienced a loss in November 2018 at 8.5 weeks, as I see many others have as well. Praying this is our rainbow. END TW*
Hello there everyone I was very recently shocked with a BFP and I am very happy! I was an active member on the TTC threads for quite a while, but went through a really tough past few months, with a really big car accident and a terrible bout of depression, I still keep in touch with the women I spoke with privately before and enjoy supporting them on their journeys!
I am 27 years old and I was planning on starting my PhD in September, but hey... that is when the baby bean is due! My SO and I have been married a little over a year and a half and this will be our first child.
Currently, I am working from home and have far too much time to worry. Would love to contribute any kind of support I can to all of you in your journeys and get some support through mine as well!
@mommyshark13 Hello! Congratulations You are very strong and brave to talk about your losses, I have everything that will cross crossed for you this time around. I find myself constantly worrying about the same thing because I am so early along. I know worrying and stress is something that you are supposed to try your best not to do but... I am no good. Hope you have a happy pregnancy!
@mshrades Congratulations! I am sorry very sorry to hear about your experience in August... I can't imagine. You women who share your stories are quite courageous you know! I also have gut feelings but, since I am so early along I can't tell if I have a gut feeling that this will be good and I am just worried about the bad, or that I have a gut feeling it will be bad and keep trying to picture good. I know sitting and worrying isn't good and doesn't change anything either way, but I don't know how to JUST think positive! Any advice would be great!
@cee_moll Welcome! I am just waiting to have my first appointment booked, probably around the same time as you Congratulations, this is a super exciting time!! Like you, I am also really really nervous about getting through the first trimester etc... perhaps we could nervous ramble to each other sometime!
Hi everyone! My name is Brandi, new to the app! I have an almost 6 year old son, and am due Sept 6 with another little nugget. So excited, and can’t wait to build a bond and give and get support with you ladies!!!!
This is baby #3. I have two boys (10&13). This is the first for my hubby. Due September 9. We are nervous. Our daughter was stillborn at 21 weeks last summer.
Hello all!!! I am a STM with a EDD of 9/13 and a 5yo boy and a DH of 6yrs. I’m super excited but nervous. I lerked a lot on the boards with my first and I will try to be more involved this time.
Hey ladies! Very cautiously joining and I’ll try to keep my intro as anti-word vomity as possible. STM and have a 2 yr old DS. I was part of the Nov 16 BMB and am still close with so many of them. We talk pretty much every day. I’m 31 and H is 34 and we live outside of Denver, CO. My EDD is 9/5 (but I’m thinking it’ll be closer to 9/8 based on when I think I O’ed).
*TW* I was in May 19, but had a MMC at 13 weeks at the end of Oct. We ended up getting KU again pretty quickly and found out right before Christmas. On Christmas morning I started bleeding pretty heavily and it continued for three days. I thought I was out and that it had been a CP, but I noticed my tests were getting darker though so I went in for betas. They were really low (HCG 48/progesterone 1.5). Just had them rechecked and they’re now 750 for the HCG and 3.2 for the progesterone. Still low, but I’m on progesterone supplements now (as of tonight) so I really hope they can keep this going and bring a rainbow. *End TW*
I am so excited to be here and sincerely hope I get to stay!!

Hi everyone! I'm a soon to be twenty-nine year old from Canada. I am a teacher. My husband and I are expected our first baby. Feeling very excited but also anxious. I have a shorter cycle turn around than most so I found out fairly early and waiting for my first prenatal appointment feels agonizing. I am looking forward to communicating with you other mommas; the comradery from other first timers and also the wisdom from all the veterans. 😁
Hi everyone! I am pregnant with my 3rd baby, 2nd pregnancy. I have 14 month old boy/girl twins who are a handful, but amazing. My husband and I have been married for ten years. I think my due date will be somewhere around mid September. I can’t remember when my last period was. Oops! This baby is quite the surprise. We went through fertility treatments to have the twins (clomid, trigger shot, and IUD) after 6 years of being off birth control. We are thrilled, but scared of what it will be like to have three kids under 2 🙈
Hello ladies! I was seeing a fertility specialist after trying for 7 unsuccessful months at 38 years old. I had an HSG test and a water sonogram in early December. Doctor found polyps that he wanted to remove. When I went for my pre-op blood work we found out I am pregnant! Today I go for a 5 week ultrasound!
Hi! I’m a FTM with an EDD of September 10th, 5 days before my birthday I’m 31, married, and have 2 spoiled rescue mutts who will def have some adjusting to do with the little one lol. It’s still early, but we are very excited and looking forward to our 1st prenatal appointment at the end of the month!
