My first ultrasound at 10w2d. They had been going off my lmp which had my due date as 5/21 but at my dating ultrasound they changed my due date to 5/29. So there’s a good chance I’ll have myself a June baby, but I’m not leaving here...Also the tech already had a guess for the sex. She said it looks like a girl! I know that it’s still sooooo early, but she seemed really confident. We had been really expecting a boy and already had a boy name so I guess we’ll see what happens at our 20 week anatomy scan. Until then I guess we need to really start thinking of girls names!
@Courtster5609 I have 4 kids and my husband has a very unpredictable schedule and travels a lot so I usually don't have a choice but to bring them especially since we don't have family or close friends nearby to watch them. I try to always pack a few things to keep them busy. No one has ever said anything. In fact the MFM office I went to for my anatomy scans and growth scans actually had toys for the kids in the ultrasound room.
I know you've already had your appt but just for future reference.

12 Week NT Scan last Thursday, and all looks normal! U/S Tech said she had a hunch it’s a girl... anyone else gotten a “guess” like this at the NT scan? She said she’s been wrong before and that we’d find out for sure at the Anatomy Scan next month, but apparently experienced techs have a pretty good idea... which would be cool to know this early!
@kfdrive I had my ultrasound on Friday at 10w3d and she said it looked like a girl. I was shocked because I expected a boy. I didn’t even know it was possible to tell or even guess this early. I won’t find out for sure until my 20 week anatomy scan in January. The wait is gonna kill me!
@kfdrive It might be a good idea to remove your name from your ultrasound pic (crop or black it out) for internet privacy. I told the U/S tech at our 12 week scan we weren't finding out so not to say anything (just in case). She said it'd just be a guess at that point anyways. If you want to know, kind of fun, but I wouldn't make a gender reveal based on that (if that's your kind of thing).
Just had the NT ultrasound yesterday, hope it’s ok to post here:) 13 weeks 3 days as of today, and both sonographer and doctor independently said it looks like a girl😊 All baby’s measurements were normal, and she’s measuring 1 day ahead.
Hope it’s not too late to join all you ladies.!! Went to the doctor about two weeks ago and found out I am expecting twins again! I have 18 month old identical girls already. So the past two weeks have been rough (freaking out non stop). Also per the doctor, looks like we were carrying triplets TW* but one baby no longer had a heartbeat End TW*
This is was the best image they could get with both babies moving non stop.
@twinmomxx2 My husband is a twin, and he has twin sisters (plus another sister, and two cousins who were raised with him off and on - all 7 within 6yrs age gap). My MIL admits that the baby months were hard, but says it was actually harder with the singletons later on. You can do this!
This was at 12 weeks yesterday. I am still waiting on them to email me the ultrasound pictures. I am so in love with this little angel already... Such a beautiful thing to see your baby kicking and moving.
Had my first appointment and ultrasound 11-7. 11 weeks, 4 days but based on two measurments, the baby was measuring 11 w 6 d. My EDD is May25th but the doctor won't let me go over 39 weeks. The heart rate was in the 120's which she said was low (kind of nerous about that), but the baby was moving around a lot.
First ultrasound 10weeks and 6 days. Dd is may 30th. We decided to do the early gender test cause I'm dying to know before black Friday shopping and it's just a finger prick.
Sweet baby playing with hands and feet at our ultrasound. 14+2 but measured a little ahead. We went to the clinic for a new nurse training. Will next week to see if it's a boy or girl.
My first little peanut 🧡. After a terrible first dating ultrasound at 7 weeks where I had a grumpy technician who barely spoke to me, today made up for everything!! 😍 Little baby is measuring 9cm from head to rump, kicking and wiggling and jumping off my uterus. Maybe that's why I'm having bad heartburn? He/she is going to be a surprise as I don't want to find out sex in advance. My EDD is now May 13. Baby is measuring 14 weeks 3 days. I just lost one of my closest friends to cancer this so this is the shining star in my dark sky at the moment. So thankful. 😊
@eatinwatermelonseeds thanks hun. Roughest week honestly...she passed Tuesday after being diagnosed in August. Horrible to see her go but thankful she is not suffering anymore. Cancer is crazy. She was my "sister from another mister" these past 11 years and I'll miss her deeply. Grief + pregnancy hormones have made me such a wreck this week but the ultrasound was just the best thing. Ironically we heard the baby's heartbeat at the midwives around the same time that my friend passed. I feel this LO is going to be my positive thing to help pull me through and really might name her after my friend if it's a girl. ❤
@bgdwg a friend from my first pregnancy board passed within a year of her cancer diagnosis. Less than 5 months after she was diagnosed with mets. It's HORRIBLE. I never met her in person, so it's totally different, but cancer is a terrible thing. I think it would be a beautiful thing to name a girl after her ♥️
And yes, we are!! Weirdly enough, I'm due the anniversary of the day the above friend passed away. So very strange how things work out ♥️
@bgdwg so sorry for your loss. Cancer is truly a terrible thing.
I had my follow up for the SCH today. Baby is measuring on track and had a healthy heartbeat. The ultrasound techs are from a different department and they literally give you zero information, other than heart rate and estimated age of the baby, so I have to wait for doctor to call hopefully tomorrow and let me know how things look. Loved seeing little one move their fingers and stretch out.
We had a great NT scan last week - everything looked perfect. It's amazing the detail we could see - the blood pumping in and out of the chambers of the heart, the blood in the umbilical chord, it's beautiful. Below is baby, who was mid stretch with an arm behind their head.
Here is sweet boy. He was SO active, way more than big brother ever was. Just wiggling all around. At the end he curled up against the placenta and took a nap 😂

Heres baby with the little arm resting near the head.
And yeah, definitely not throwing a party over it just yet!

I got to take my mom with me to my sonogram, she was pretty happy.
