Due date March 17, this will be baby #4 and DH says no more after this baby. So planning to enjoy this last pregnancy/birth as much as possible as I say goodbye to a pretty important phase of my life
Hi! First pregnancy here-7 weeks today! EDD March 28, 2 days after my 2 year wedding anniversary!
It’s all been so surreal. DH and I were planning to start ttc around now after I was weaned off of some medication. I was on the pill, but somehow my cycle was off track and I got my period in the middle of a few packs, so a little surprise came after a fun night during the sugar pills.
*TW* loss/infertility-I have watched some close friends deal with infertility struggles, loss, and stillbirth. I am 34, and I have anxiety among other things, and high BP (which I’m struggling to control on pregnancy-approved meds), so I was sure it was likely going to be a long road to the BFP. I’m still struggling to believe it/worried about getting attached-it was too easy, too good to be true, but I want to be so excited. It’s a constant struggle, but excitement/nervousness/curiosity generally wins. *end TW*
So far we’ve told only our immediate families. I’m superstitious so I want to wait, but also I’m terrible at keeping secrets and it’s seriously all I can think about. Plus my main symptom so far has been total exhaustion-can’t get through most days without a nap and it would just be so much easier to explain. Luckily I work remotely in a tiny company and get to make my own schedule, so dealing with the work aspect hasn’t been an issue.
I think that’s everything for now. I’m looking forward to getting to know you all better, especially being able to openly share about this pregnancy since I can’t do that yet in person. Happy almost Friday everyone!
Hi! I haven’t had my first appt yet but EDD is March 23rd. The shock hasn’t worn off yet for us since finding out baby #2 is on the way. We were going to start trying next Spring, but ready or not.. here we go!
My name is McKenna. I was married April 27 and pregnant by June. I am due March 8 2019. I am 10 weeks today, extremely nervous and not really sure how I feel. This is my first pregnancy. I’ve always wanted a family but now that i’m pregnant, I don’t feel good enough to be a mom. I’m worried I will lose the baby because I was told I could only get pregnant with the help of IVF and it would be very hard to get pregnant the natural way. I get sick in the evenings and it’s usually just cramps or nausea. I don’t sleep very well at night and have horrible nightmares that wake me up. I am hardly ever sick in the mornings and have no heartburn. I have a very deep feeling it’s a baby boy but my husband swears it’s a girl. I don’t have the signs of it being a girl but who knows. We have our sons name picked out but are having the hardest time with a girl name!!
I have a 2.5 year old and an 8 month old. Didn't get a warning period, and now I'm 2 months pregnant. Kinda nervous to have 2 so close together, but always excited for a pregnancy. My first was a MC at 14wks, boy born at 34 weeks, girl at 37 weeks, so not really sure on the due date for this one. How can you tell anyways if you were still waiting for periods to return?!
You could get a dating ultrasound. Your practitioner will probably encourage it since you don't know dates. Other than that, there are the more traditional ways, which aren't as exact. Symptoms/morning sickness typically kick in around 6 weeks (but not always. Mine started at 5 this time.) Looking at when you had sex recently (although that won't be helpful if it's frequent). Measuring the fundal height later in pregnancy (but if your baby is big or small, it will throw that off. My daughter measured 0-2 weeks ahead the whole pregnancy.)
@bug_hunter Congratulations! I had my first baby during my PhD, and it was hard, but also completely wonderful. My daughter was there the day I walked at graduation and thinking about that moment got me through the hard stuff. You got this girl!
Hi all! You can call me Elle! I am pregnant with baby #2, I currently have a 2.5 year old daughter. We had our ultrasound and saw a healthy fetus and heartbeat, so fingers crossed it sticks! My husband and I didn’t have any issues conceiving this time or last. It was very fast. My last pregnancy didn’t end well. While I got my beautiful daughter from it I developed a very rare condition called Acute Fatty Liver of Pregnancy which resulted in an emergency c-section and ICU stay. It was a very scary and trying time in my life. This time around we are hoping that is not the case!
Hello everyone and congrats on your little ones! Im 29 and DH is 30, we have a DD who will be 3 in October. EDD is March 9th and we are very excited to share this journey with you!
Hello everyone. My name is Julie and I am 30 DH is 38. We have a DD who will be 2 in November. EDD is March 2nd and we are very excited. This was unplanned but welcomed none the less. I hope to give and receive a lot of advice and encouragement throughout our journey together!!
Hi! I'm Erika and I just turned 25 this past July. My husband is 26 and this is my first pregnancy. According to my LMP I'm 10 and 1/2 weeks and my EDD is March 5th. My first appointment with a midwife is this upcoming Wednesday and I'm so nervous and excited! Also excited to join my first pregnancy community; you all seem like lovely people congratulations everyone! PS I hope I'm posting this right
Hi I'm finally able to introduce myself lol. I'm 18, going to be 19 in April. I found out I was pregnant at the end of July. I am due March 9th and am 10 weeks 2 days today.
Hey y’all, I’m Kayleigh and my EDD is March 24th which makes me 8 weeks today, yay!! This will be #4 and a total surprise. Due to different factors we didn’t think I was able to carry another, so I’m still a little nervous. Our olders will be 10, 9, and 7 when this little one is born. I’m a freelance graphic designer and work from home so I can homeschool. I’ve already met with our midwife and we’re just taking it easy, praying this baby sticks.
Hi! I’m due March 26th. This will be my second baby and will be a repeat csection so will most likely be born mid March sometime. My dayghter will be about 3.5 when this one is born so we will have a bit of an age gap.
Hey guys! I'm about 7 to 8 weeks pregnant, but have an appointment a week from today to confirm EDD. I've been lurking through the discussion boards to find answers to questions for a while now, so I thought I'd better start getting involved! I'm going to be a first time mom, and I'm also a nurse... so I have questions about EVERYTHING! Talk about paranoia! My husband and I got pregnant on a trip we took to Italy, so we are referring to our little one as our "bambino" for now Nobody in our family knows we are pregnant yet, so we are percolating some ideas of how to announce the news. It doesn't feel real yet, but I think hearing the heartbeat next week will change that. I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone, and thankful for this new support system.
So excited we found out I was expecting on DH birthday! Recently married last October and this is my first and I can’t believe it’s finally happening. We tried for 4 months. Currently I’m 7 weeks today.
My Due Date March 26 !!!
Wishing everyone else a beautiful & blessed Journey!
My name is Maggie , 30 years old, and this is my first pregnancy! I am 8 weeks today, EDD March 27th. Had our first appointment yesterday and everything is looking good. It felt so amazing to see my little bean up close and hear how strong that heartbeat was! So glad to have found this group, we live away from our home state and I have been feeling extra lonely lately, and I'm happy to have some virtual support!
Hey everyone! My due date is March 22nd. This is my fourth pregnancy, but the 2nd was a miscarriage (I was 8 weeks) and my 3rd passed away at 5 and a half months from SIDS. My first is going to be 4 in December and is excited to be a big brother again.
Hello, I found out I was pregnant on 4th of July, and found out this past Tuesday I’m pregnant with twins! I have a five year old daughter right now and we were planning on having one more but God has decided to bless us with two! We are excited about anxious and scared at the same time. Can’t wait to read all of your stories. My edd is 3/19/19
Hey Everyone! First time mom here! EDD - March 26th. It only took us two months of trying which seemed crazy to me but hubby and I are definitely excited for this new chapter in our lives!
Hi everyone! I've been lurking for a while so I think I am ready to jump in. This is my 5th pregnancy. I had 2 MC's before the birth of my first son and had another successful pregnancy since then (2 boys: 3.5 and 2yrs). I've had a crazy first couple months with some bleeding scares and some major back pain issues that are giving me tons of anxiety. I generally just lurked during my first couple pregnancies but I really regretted not participating so I am putting myself out there and ready to join in on the fun! EDD PI day (3.14), which is the coolest thing ever for this math teacher
Hey guys I'm super excited to be apart of a community group this is my first pregnancy I'm a young adult my pregnancy happened sooner then I expected and wanted but I'm still incredibly grateful because little ones are a blessing my EDD is march 12 ❤
Hi, been a bit of a lurker also 5 yrs since I’ve been on The Bump. I am 11 weeks pregnant with second and still a bit of a shock. EDD 3/18, but most likely before with planned c-section.
@angeloffreedom we do have a moms of multiples thread, it may have dropped down a little, but be sure to check it out. We have lots of twin moms on this board. Congratulations!!

Hey mamas, I’m Carrie! I’m a mom to an A15 boy and expecting my second around March 7th. I haven’t announced it yet, but I was active on the bump the first time around and wanted to hop on board. We should actually be finding out the sex sometime this week with the panorama screening results, so we’re looking forward to that!
My first pregnancy was difficult with ptl contractions from 29 weeks all the way to delivery at 39 weeks. I’m hoping this time around will go smoother and I can avoid bed rest.
I’m pregnant with my third. We have two girls already, ages three and 14 months. I originally calculated my due date as 3/31, so I joined the April BMB since I’ve delivered late both times before. But we had an ultrasound this week and they gave me a DD of 3/23. So here I am.
Hi all! I’m 34 and pregnant with my first. I’m due 3/31. This is all super new to me and I’m looking forward to being part of this community! I am also a teacher and started at a new school this year. I, too, am a little nervous about telling my bosses about my pregnancy. My position is temporary and I’ll need to reapply in the spring to keep it (right around when I’ll be delivering).
Hi guys. I was on the April board but per my ultrasound yesterday I’m actually due in March. This is kiddo number two. Daughter turned two in July. Hoping to get to know y’all over the several months!!
Hello, ladies. I'm 37 and the Mommy to 3 girls - 14, 8 and 5. This is my 4th pregnancy and it is a surprise. I wouldn't mind another girl, honestly, but I suppose DH deserves a boy. We both just want baby and me to be healthy throughout this one. This is my 2nd go round on TB, but I haven't been on here in about 8 years or so.
Hello, I'm Dani. I'm a cook. First time mom. Due end of March. And try my best to be really strong all the time. However i cried today. It was not because i was hurt, or in pain. I cried because a cart i was pushing fell and i had to clean up the mess. Usually this wouldn't have me tearing up, but i was just so frustrated and ready to be in my bed. I'm happy no one was around to see the tears. But i figure i should tell someone. My mom said to me "it's ok... Just cry and clean up" not what i wanted to hear. So i sucked it up, cleaned up and drove home listening to kirk Franklin. Lemme tell you. First song was like 'meh whatever'. Second was like 'ok i kinda know this one'. Third one was 'Revolution' and that picked me up so high!!! I blasted that out the car until it ended. Ok enough about me...
