I'm 36 from Hawaii and have been married for almost 12 years. I have an almost 4 year old daughter (although bear with me, in those 4 years I've apparently forgotten all the abbreviations and lingo on here) and had a mc in January. I hope I'll get to stick around and get to "know" you lovely ladies.
I am 26 and from minnesota, previously apart of may '15 before everything went down. My dd is now 3. My so and I pulled the goalie and just had fun for a couple months before the bfp! I found out on Sunday and think my edd is Feb 25th. Hopefully a h&h for everyone's next 9 months! (8months now?
Hi everyone, I am so excited to intro myself. I am 30 and my fiance is 32. This is our first pregnancy and I am due in Feb 2019 We are getting married in September this year and I found out I was pregnant 2 weeks ago..... I will be 17 weeks by the wedding date, I hope I still fit in the dress!!! I think a little bump will look cute We are over the moon and so excited I am now 5 weeks and feeling lots of symptoms, which I am not going to lie I Google the hell out of, and these forums are great to ease my concerns. I had a difficult time telling my best friend who has been trying for over a year, she was obviously really happy for us but I haven't heard much form her since we told her the news, I am really respectful that she will be upset on many levels and I want to be there for her too. Looking forward to reading all your stories and advice. Gem
Hello! I guess I've officially been part of TB since my first pregnancy in 2011, but I'm an inveterate lurker. So, my intro: I'm 34, Dh is 35, we've been married 10 years. We live in western New York state, Buffalo Bills territory. He works as recreation supervisor for a local children's home, I stay home and run the house. We have three kids, DD1 is 6, DD2 is 4, and DS is nearly 2. This pregnancy is a surprise, I got cocky after 8 years of successful FAM and was sure I'd already ovulated-- oops! I'm excited to finally take part in a bmb. Really looking forward to getting more familiar with all of you! EDD is 2/5/19 based on lmp
Hi! Got my positive test yesterday. It was a huge surprise! We have a 20 month old son and thought he would be our only child. EDD is feb 20th by my calculations. We don’t go to the dr until 7/10
@rora_da welcome There’s another thread on here for moms under 25 u might want to check out too. I had my first at 19 so I get it. Good news it they’ll be older then u are now by the time your 40 lol
Hello all Im 29 and my partner is 27, we haev been together for almost 8 years. We live in NZ, I'm a pharmacist and my partner is a gardener. Just got my BPF and feeling pretty good, was going to wait a little longer but I just can't. Due date 27/2/19. **TW - loss mentioned.**
I was in the may 2018 BMB but had a missed miscarriage at 9 weeks and ended up having a D&E. Then last month had a CP. I was quite active on the TTGP board up until a few months ago but just got myself a bit stressed so decided to give it a break. Really hoping for a sticky baby this time round.
Hi all! I can’t believe I’m here right now, but alas. I wasn’t anticipating this, since we weren’t trying. This is baby number 3 for us. I just got my positive tonight, so I haven’t been to the doctor. EDD is 2/22, which is the day after my first DD’s 5th birthday. My DS is going to be 11mo in 4 days. I already see a couple fellow J17 Moms with @ginger1228 and @squirttheturtle! I can’t believe I’m here, but I’m excited already and really looking forward to getting to know everyone.
Hey everyone! I am pregnant with my 2nd child and we found out on Father's Day. My daughter is from a previous relationship and my fiancé and I get married in September of this year. This was unexpected but very welcome and we're excited to have a new little one.
Hello all! Im new to the bump, but certainly not new to parenthood! I'm currently due with baby #3. I have been a marylander all my life. I am 25 and dh is 30. Dh and i have been married for 3 years, but together for 8(My high school sweetheart)
Hi everyone! Got a bfp yesterday morning and my edd is 2/27/19. I'm 28 and DH is 36. We were originally planning to start trying later this fall, but are so excited for #2. DD is 21 months and we also have two dogs. (one who is a puppy still)
@soon2bepartyof7 My 10mo is a CHD heart warrior- she is having open heart surgery the week after her 1st bday-so Aug. 14th. I myself have a CHD but no intervention needed. It is so hard, bc she is such a happy baby and has no clue about anything. I think it's harder on us as parents right now, knowing what is coming, then her. Did you baby require intervention- any words of wisdom or advice if so?
TW: 1 infant loss 8/17: Our daughter was born 8/18: Our daughter kicked open heart surgery ass 2/19: We lost our son to Prader-Willi/Paradoxical Vocal Cord/ Noonans at 6wks old 4/26/2020: EDD for baby #3!!!
Hi, I'm Ashley! I'm 28, DH is 32 and I'm pregnant for the first time! EDD is 2/25/19. I'm new to this app but I already love this community--really eases my anxiety! First Appt with OB is 7/24 (seems like a million years from now!) But I can't wait!
Hi all. I’m 33, from Montreal, Canada and this is a very unexpected first pregnancy for myself and my DH. I’m 5weeks and 4 days and experiencing all kinds of pleasant symptoms: gas, acid reflux, sore breasts, cramps and mild insomnia. I’m super nervous and stressed. Looking forward to the support this community has to offer.
First, re: my username, it's just two things I miss. In my current state, as much as I'd like to, I have refrained from slugging Pinot and eating blue cheese stuffed olives. A girl can dream. If those food images made you vurp in disgust, my sincerest apologies.
I got my BFP on May 29, which seemed early, so my anxiety-ridden self is convinced it's quints. Anxiously awaiting my first prenatal appointment to be assured there's just one in there. I'm 33, H is 34, and we've been married for 8 years. We have a 3 year old DD. I'm not new to The Bump, as I participated last time I was pregnant. I got to know some great women, but at one point my sass got me exiled in the Great Bump Purge of '15 (I thought was pretty tame, but they purging errbody out here). I look forward to reading about your experiences and promise to behave!
ETA: based on my LMP my tentative due date would be Feb 5.
Haha yep,@notthecheat it was a cutthroat free for all! Were you there for it? It was juicy as hell, but I'm a grown up now. Back then I was a mere 30 year old child.
@bleucheeznwine I'm a D13 graduate. I personally missed a lot of it because my one year old was running me ragged. But one of our most active members got banned and transferred the group to other social media, where we still are today. As you can tell by the current crickets in D13. But I remember there was a lot of drama.
Hi everyone! I’m Sara, I’m 29 and my husband is 32. This is our first baby together, but I have a daughter that’s 7 1/2. We’ve been TTC since we got married in August. I got my BFP last week, and we’re due 2/19! I’ll have my first ultrasound next Friday and I can’t wait!
@bleucheeznwine I was around these parts at that time as well with my first. (I was part of M14 at the time.) I was here through J17. It’s quieter than it used to be and the bump Gods are quick to sling their hammer, but it’s fairly safe. Welcome!
Got a + this morning and while we weren’t trying, we also weren’t preventing so I shouldn’t be too surprised since I know how baby making works.
This will hopefully be Baby #3 (*TW* pregnancy # 4 - we had a missed m/c before my oldest was born *end TW*). My kids are 6 & 3 and have been begging my H and I to have another baby for what seems like forever.
My EDD is 2/28 but will likely be around 2/21 because I’ll have a repeat c/s around 39w.
I was an an active member on my previous 2 birth month boards so I’m hopeful for another great group here. Happy & healthy 9 months to everyone!
Hi everyone! I am 36 my fiancee is 30. This will be my first baby and his 3rd. I had brain cancer 7 years ago and went through chemo and radiation, I didnt think it was even possible to conceive considering that and my age. I was also on birth control when I got pregnant so this baby was determined. We are cautiously excited. I cant even tell you the rollercoaster of emotions I am feeling (mostly rolling from excitement to fear). The emergency room confirmed me at 7 weeks and 5 days. Due February 3rd. Wish us luck! ♡
Re: Introduce Yourself Here
Husband and I have been married for 4 years in November. This is our 5th pregnancy but no children yet. I'm currently 6 weeks 6 days.
