@ginger1228 glad there’s someone else! Might be my second go-round with pregnancy but the pregnant & nursing part is new.
  • Thanks! I've had two betas and all looked good so now waiting until my u/s on June 22. So far away...! I've got PCOS and have been at a fertility clinic for a while so this is a huge shock. Got the positive test the day before I went in for my first IVF consult! What about you?
That’s amazing I’m so happy for you!

I havent seen my dr yet. I got my positive on Thursday and she has been away so I see her Tuesday morning. I’m assuming Ill need to go in for bloodwork that day and last time she sent me for a dating ultrasound so I’m hoping for that again!
  • @shellperry hi!  I have 3 sons also.  Good to
know I’m not the only mom of many boys here

@canadianmom89 I’m really praying for your rainbow! (Tw: My rainbow baby was born on the day I got the horrible news one year prior of my mmc....sometimes dates are beautifully serendipitous...I wish I knew one year prior that I’d be holding my rainbow in my arms).
  • 3 boys also
  • @runnermom9 Congrats! I see by your name that you're a runner and already on #2... any tips on running during the first trimester?

  • @Venessa88. Hi! From a fellow Atlantic Canadian
  • Hi @Evergreenmist! Congrats on expecting your first! My advice for first trimester running is to slow down if you need to, drink a lot of water, and to do your best to get out for a run even when you feel too tired :). I ran a half marathon at 17 weeks during my first pregnancy and am so glad I pushed through it. I think getting outside and moving actually made me feel better. I'm hoping to keep running this time, but I'm not much of a summer runner to begin with, so I'll likely stick with shorter distances. I plan to check in on the Fit Friday posts to stay accountable!
  • @runnermom9 thanks! I ran my first marathon on May 6 so I'm happy to take a break from training for a looong time haha. Having said that, I'm part of a run group in my neighbourhood and it's a huge part of my social life so I want to keep running. Also, don't want any of them to know until 12 weeks!  ;)

  • @littlepeanutnumber3 I was also briefly in Dec ‘18.  <3 Good to see you here.
  • @Evergreenmist that's so awesome that you ran a marathon in May! I ran a half marathon the same day as your full. I've run several halves, but don't think I'll ever do a full. It's great that you have a group to run with. I typically train with a group, and the last time I was pregnant it definitely made me feel more comfortable to run with other people.
  • Hi! I'm 27 and my husband and I are so excited to be expecting our first! My EDD based on LMP is Feb. 15! I'm anxiously awaiting my first OB appointment which isn't until I'm 10 wks, it feels like forever! Happy and excited for everyone here!
Welcome.  So we can get to know *you* better, hop over to the knot and change your screen name.  There is a post on how to do that.  Glad you're here!
