@krzyriver I’m glad you have peace of mind now! I’m thinking I’ll call tomorrow morning unless baby gets more active before then. I think I felt maybe 1 light kick after dinner, but nothing I can be certain of.
@knottieamusements yes they would qualify for FMLA. It would fall under the foster care/adoption because they would become the legal guardian. Depending on the company's parenting policy, they would possibly qualify for placement of child benefits if the company offers them.
@krzyriver Glad to hear you’re doing ok and went in to get checking! Thinking of you and hope LO will be more active for you so you don’t have to go back again!
My child is having a dance party thanks to the chocolate creme filled cake batter donut and caramel iced coffee I just had from Dunkin. I usually don’t like donuts but hey, I’m willing to sacrifice and eat one for the baby. Who am I kidding it was amazing!! I just hope I’ll go back to not liking donuts after he’s born.
Thanks ladies!! He’s still pretty quiet, but I’ve gotten a few kicks here and there. I forgot I have an ultrasound today so I’ll feel better after I actually see him!
@britvahok sorry I never saw I had a message from here to my question....so my recovery from the first tear was excellent, I basically had limited/minimal swelling healed great, drs were impressed. After my son, same I had minimal swelling and healed what I thought was well. I have issues with hemms already even years before babies so I was so afraid to poop after my son since I tore right through into the anus yuck! I guess truly I would like to have another unmedicated vaginal delivery because I know recovery from major abdominal surgery will just be so much harder! I also currently have BAD diastasis recti (4 finger separation) so I can’t imagine a csect will make that repair any easier either! @jennybean80 and @nasalot188 it has been discussed two times now that with having large babies and going 41 Weeks naturally on my own that they could check me at my 39 appt and if I had progression then possibly strip membranes (which I did have with both the others at 40w so clearly did nothing). One stated depending on progress that they could have me schedule an induction a day before 40w and I could go in and get induced. I really don’t want to have to be induced...I’ve heard horror stories and I would much rather have my body donit on its own as it has, but I also want it to be safe! They also said I could delivery in different positions rather than the traditional position of being on back with legs up...either hands and knees or side delivery which I’m completely all for...anything to minimize the damage! I was actually told with the tears I had it’s almost definite I will tear again bc scar tissue is nowhere near as strong...so it’s tough!!
