Aye ladies, I'm definitely not new at taking hpt, but I need some opinions. I took these test a few weeks ago, thought I seen a line from the very beginning, but it wasn't clearly there until after the time limit. Does a evaporation line get darker over time?? These pictures was taken a few hours later..
I couldn't believe i got a positive only 10 DPO but i did. Luckily my good friend had been TTC and got pregnant so she gave me her clear blue tests she had. These were taken over the course oft the week. 2nd baby is hopefully a sticky one!
Thought I would contribute my pics! Tests are in order of date taken. The top FRER is at about 3 days after AF. The cheaply below that is about a week later at 5 weeks pregnant! Can’t remember the exact dates on the other ones but sometime between 12dpo and the day AF didn’t show.
*TW early loss* The bottom FRER is for reference from last month taken one day before my missed period. Ended in a chemical pregnancy about a week later when I took another test that was negative *end TW*
I got my BFP in the evening on 9 DPO. The next morning I tested again and it was negative. That evening I tested again and it was obviously positive (again), tested again the next morning and it was positive but MUCH fainter than it was the night before. Same thing the next two days. Morning tests barely show a positive but afternoon/evening tests are very obviously positive. This seems odd as FMU should be more potent than afternoon urine, right? Has this happened to anyone else?
I had a CP in February. My lines were faint then too. (my first positive that cycle was on DPO 14) I'm worried about the line being so faint, although I am only 11 DPO...so I'm hoping they get darker. And I didn't use FMU.
Edited to add: I walked to dollar general to get a bunch of $1 tests and there is a clean line!! Middle of the day urine too. I'm flabbergasted!! Testing again tomorrow in the AM for that FMU.
@kristah2 THANK YOU DARLING!!! It's darker in person than the photo shows too. But I have it sitting here as I am typing this and I keep looking at it like it's going to disappear...haha, and I am FREAKING OUT. This was a wal-mart brand, so I will be buying some name brands.
@Whitmore1027 so happy you got a BFP this month after the last could months being a little tough. Hoping your lines keep getting darker and you get a happy and healthy 9 months!
@Whitmore1027 agreed with @kristrah2 saying test again tomorrow with FMU and the day after. I also would highly recommend using a pink dye test. But that being said, I definitely see a shadow of a line. FX this is a sticky little bug for you Congrats girl!

@Whitmore1027 - it's definitely there! Mine was about that light when testing on 10-11dpo. Try again in the morning to see - FMU will probably help a bit, but if it's visible when it's not FMU, that's a good sign! Congrats, lady!!
I'm so happy for you honey!!!!!!!!! Yasssss!!!!!!!!!

@bdream0916 Thank you!! I haven't retested the last couple days. I ran out of tests and I'm trying to convince H to let me buy a couple more. But he thinks it's silly to keep testing when I've already gotten positive test. He thinks it's a waste of money. Which I understand his point of view but he doesn't understand my need to see those lines get darker!
This is kind of an update from my last post on April 26th.
I took a FRER today and immediately got two lines! I was worried about how faint my last tests were a few days ago. I also have had some dark brown spotting today so I freaked out so bad! But I feel way better seeing this test!
I'm also going crazy with the nausea already, light headedness, tiredness, and fast heart rate. I'm only 3w6d now.
*TW* I'm still nervous about another CP until I can get through another week at least. Last CP I still had positive tests through 16dpo (although they were EXTREMELY faint). I'm at 14dpo now.
Congrats @Whitmore1027! FX for a sticky baby this time!

@coco2787 thank you @Whitmore1027 It's my CD 43 . I test again today CD 44 . The line is still there but not get much darker . I will wait a few days more and test again . Thanks babe
10dpo. I cannot believe it. I thought I was for sure out this month after I started spotting at about 8dpo exactly like I do before I start my period. Even went out and bought tampons on my vacation that apparently I didn’t need! But I stopped spotting after about 24 hrs which was unusual so I took a test just to check. Was literally grabbing beer from our room for us at the pool when I decided to test. I ended up just grabbing beer for DH. I feel like it actually looks a little more clear in person but either way it’s there
An update for today . Still not as bold as I want but it's getting darker . . No matter how many times I look at these 2 lines , I still feel so unreal
I’m not totally sure when I ovulated. I took a Wandfo strip 2 days after my missed period and the line was so faint that I didn’t even take a picture. I thought I was imagining it. The FRER below is 3 days after my missed period, in the morning. The ClearBlue is from that same afternoon. I took a few more Wandfos the few days after that and they got progressively darker. Some people don’t get a + until after they miss their period. I know some people like to test as early as they can, but my best advice is to wait if you’re able to.
Finally I got what I was looking for : a bold BFP . Patience is a must !
^^ Because the previous tests were lying? O.o If you were in doubt why not get a FRER instead of continuing to use internet cheapies. I understand not believing it but you've been spamming this thread for weeks now lmfao. The first one was a positive but if continuing to test until you got what you feel is an official line I guess to each their own. In the future or to anyone else lurking if you are confused regarding a test call your doctor. Also the test line does NOT have to be as bold/dark as the control to be considered a positive. A line within the testing timeframe (especially one with color) is positive. Evaps and indents can occur and appear to be false positives, but a positive is pretty unmistakable. If your line appears within the time and has color you're pretty safe to say it's positive. But OP: congrats on the wine box BFP that you finally believe I guess. Lol
