    @laurengon82. Happy transfer day!! GL!

    @ndz2018 so happy to hear that you have no regrets!  Enjoy the nice California weather!  I will be lurking the May board :)

  • laurengon82  OMG! Lets make a baby!! let us know how it goes and show us baby's first pic!
    ndz2018  I'm sure it was exhausting and cathartic at the same time... I hope your family was comforted... now COME ON AF and lets get the new cycle on the road! Like J1006 says, I'm already stalking may...
    AFM... ugh... while the estrogen helps, I'm still so exhausted by about 9 pm each day... ugh. How much worse its going to be with progesterone will probably mean me going to bed at 6 PM lol

  • ndz2018  that's great to get the fam time and having no regrets. It makes it easier if you feel that way when you look back. I am praying I feel the same way come thursday for my Grandmother's funeral. I am a ball of nerves thinking about the crazy.

    Married: 5/09 ~ TTC Since: 10/10 ~ PCOS ~ Progesterone from 10/10 - 2/11 ~ HSG on 3/18 - Clear ~ Started Metformin 1000mg & Clomid 50mg 2/11 ~ Metformin upped to 1500mg 4/6 ~ 6/7 Now going to SG and put on Clomid, Ovidrel, Gonal F, Prometrium, Estrace ~ IUI #1 7/2 = BFP!!!!!!   • @mcgeeva I really hope Thur is drama free for you.

    @dragonette505 YES! The Estradriol made me lethargic too I can Only imagine what adding the progesterone will do... guess I’ll find out when it’s time but hopefully in a few weeks eeekkkk you’re next week!!!

    @kristimh80 I’m sorry you’re not feeling good about this cycle I REALLY hope you’re wrong about this, when’s your beta, this week right?
  • @ndz2018 Thank you! My husband found out I have been POAS so he's sad now. I keep trying to tell myself...it's out of my hands! But I do feel good knowing you guys are on the May board waiting and that I'd be in good company :) I figure if AF started right away then, maybe I'd still be in the 1st - 2nd of May with you :)

    @dragonette505 Omg your gif just made me LOL! That explains me to a T this week!  :D:D:D Yes, 7 days today. Feeling ok, started slightly feeling like AF is going to show. Have those fun random lower back sensations. Last night when eating a salad, I almost threw it out because it tasted so bitter. That maybe all the fun hormones though. I kind of wish it would come back so maybe I'd start eating less! How is everything going with you?? Only 1 week to go!! YAY!

  • kristimh80 LOL Yep.. omg I was just looking at my (BSC) copious notes I took last year during my FET and I was going cray by 7dp5dt... I was SO reasonable until about 6dp5dt!! Then it all broke down! I will say that I absolutely had what felt like pre AF cramping. It sux so bad that a lot of the symptoms feel the same

  • @laurengon82 GL today!!!! Thinking sticky thoughts for you!

    @mcgeeva I'm so sorry. I must have missed that your grandmother passed away. Grandmas are the best and it's so hard to lose them. Thinking of you <3

    @ndz2018 Glad you are at peace with your decision. May is right around the corner!

    @kristimh80 I totally get your feeling down.  Once I get to 7dp5dt, I start to feel really bummed with BFNs. I try to remember that I'm not out until beta and I've seen it plenty of times on this board where ladies who thought they were out go on to be very much pregnant. Still keeping hope alive for you.

    AFM, had a check-in appointment with my RE yesterday. She wants me to be positive and says that most ppl that come through the clinic and have multiple failures do end up pregnant as long as they keep transferring and she is very optimistic given my history. I pretty much burst into tears (for the first time!) and she handed me the contact for the social worker and wants me to speak with her since she can tell I'm getting emotionally fatigued. I am so embarrassed I cried. I'm usually a tough cookie. *TW* Doesn't help that right before that she looked at the lab procedures and confirmed that my last transfer did end in a CP and it wasn't lab error, so I guess I was already on the edge of the cliff emotionally. That makes 3 b2b losses now. And I'm kind of blaming myself for the CP because I stopped my progesterone before beta and likely brought on AF. *TW* Moral of the story: DO NOT stop your meds before beta, OK????? If this transfer fails,  she put in a req for an ERA, so I'm spending the day today figuring out if my insurance will cover it because I I don't know that I can get DH on board otherwise. If not,  I'll probably do a letrozole cycle next and start transferring two embies. Let's just hope 3rd time's a charm and I can stop stressing about all of this. I booked myself a half Swedish massage/half craniosacral therapy massage and a Reiki session this week to help with my stress level. I'll probably do another few rounds leading up to transfer as well.

  • @kristimh80 Like all the other girls said, Still REALLY early! Hang in there doll!

    @dragonette505 Drinking, I'm drinking to not go BSC lol but I still have another few weeks till my FET so why not?
  • tosh24 I think its so nice your doc is also concerned with your emotional health as well! I'm with her! You can totally do this!!
    ndz2018 I don't think ive ever gotten through a funeral without drinking... And yes, hopefully you wont be drinking again for a long while so enjoy it now! :)
  • @laurengon82 Happy transfer day!

    @ndz2018 Glad you enjoyed the time with your family despite the circumstances and that you got to enjoy some warmer (too warm up here!) weather.  Have a safe trip home!

    @kristimh80 Chin up!  You’re not out till you’re out.  I never feel anything either way (but I’ve also historically not been terribly in tune with/ aware of my body - like I never know my period is coming -aside from approximate timing based on tracking - until it’s here).  Just remember that right now, you don’t have any concrete, absolute evidence that you’re out - so there’s still hope! (Easier said than done, I know - I’m still not feeling terribly optimistic myself)

    Thanks for checking in @dragonette505.  Um...I guess I’m not (doing anything to keep from going BSC)? Yesterday I felt mostly fine (aside from the aforementioned lack of “sufficient” optimism), today, a little more anxious.  Maybe it’s different since it’s my second one?  It also doesn’t help that I’m rarely busy at work to provide distraction.  Watched some TV last night, played with the dog and did somebody training with her.  Maybe doesn’t help that I’ve put myself on exercise restriction this week so I haven’t been going to the gym in the mornings.  I made an acu appointment for Thursday night after work.

    @tosh24 You shouldn’t feel bad about crying!  Even if it’s out of character for you, these people deal with women on hormones on a daily basis!  My first RE gave me a list of counselors after we got no blasts from our first IVF cycle, and I couldn’t stop crying going into my second retrieval for fear that the same thing would happen (we got our first normal from that cycle).  This stuff is emotional - and it does accumulate (as of my first retrieval, I still hadn’t found a counselor to deal with my first *TW* miscarriage a few months prior).  Insurance didn’t cover my ERA (I’d had two losses?  Not sure if it matters), and it was about $1k (I think my Insurance would cover the office visit & biopsy, but I haven’t seen it come through yet and it was early January).  Keep taking care of yourself!

    @mcgeeva Hang in there!

    My DH’s birthday is next Tuesday so it would be great if this sticks.  *TW* It’s also kind of messing with me that our little girl from our first pregnancy would already have been a year old on the same day (not that many babies are actually born on their due dates - and my MIL and I have the same birthday too, coincidentally).  Last year on his birthday we hiked to visit the site of where he buried our little one and we got the news of our first normal embryo that afternoon.  I booked a lovely garden dinner for Saturday night (beta day) for us with my SIL and her bf so that’ll be distraction either way - of course, DH and I would rather be celebrating two things.

  • @tosh24 (((hugs))) So sorry you're enduring all of this. I am glad your doctor is concerned and trying to help anyway she can. It's a great sign she is still positive for you!! I wish all fertility clinics had onsite counseling for us all. I had gotten a 2nd opinion with another clinic before starting IVF. They had a counselor on hand 24 / 7 for patients, I really thought was such a nice touch! This process is so emotional draining. Enjoy your massage!!! That sounds amazing! <3

  • artemis618  I definitely feel more apprehension going into my second one too! Last time I just "knew" the transfer would work... and while I understood that was just me being a transfer rookie, but I sort of went with it. Obviously I was nervous on transfer day just that my embies would thaw, but otherwise I look at my notes and I was basically just waiting to confirm a pos. Now I just feel more worried in general (again I think its because I was so confident last time). And like you right now, my job doesn't require a lot of focus so honestly ive been just wallowing in information. they do say to restrict exercise in the TWW so that sux (but good for your ute!). Staying hopeful for you guys really helps me stay out of my own head a bit more. Your plans for celebrations sound awesome... so so so hoping you have many things to celebrate!!!

  • @artemis618 I'm going to tell you what you told me...chin up lady!! But I totally get it! If my baby (CP) would have been a year old as well now. Try to stay positive knowing you have been pregnant and it can happen! I always revisit those times in my head trying to remember the happy side of things after trying for so long. This journey is such a roller coaster. But know we are here if you need anything :)

    @laurengon82 Happy transfer day!

    @dragonette505 Thank you for asking. :)  I don’t have any symptoms...makes me worried. My last two transfers were BFN’s and I’m too chicken to test right now.  I’ll test Thursday morning, the day of my beta.

    @tosh24 I’m on my third FET, too. I had a fresh in between. Hoping the third FET’s the charm for both of us. Have a nice, relaxing massage. Such a good idea to do a few sessions leading up to transfer. <3
  • alfieb-2 lots of girls have zero symptoms, so don't let that get you down! Its so funny because girls who get preggers normally sometimes don't have a clue or feel anything until after 5 weeks or 6 weeks... here we are trying to feel symptoms in week 3!
  • @mcgeeva very sorry for your loss.

    @ndz2018 glad to hear you are doing well.

    @tosh24 I’m sorry you are feeling so down.  Don’t worry about crying in the office at all.  I’ve done it also.  IF is so emotionally draining.  I wish my clinic offered counseling too.

    @kristimh80 FX so hard for you still.  You’re not out yet!
  • @laurengon82 Thanks doll and congrats on PUPO!!  YAY!

    @kristimh80 can you put some cortisone or calomine lotion on your bum? Oatmeal bath? Is it constant? That would drive me nuts and probably will lol
  • @laurengon82 YAY!! So excited for you!!!!

    @ndz2018 It's not constant. It's like that mosquito bite you forget about until you rub up against something. So shouldn't complain too much! lol

    Okay so now I’m panicking. Went for my apt and where my lining is a 9 I have fluid and fluid in my c-section scar. Said they will talk to my doctor but if progesterone doesn’t help the fluid or aspirating they won’t waste good embryos. I swear I need to mentally check out today to just go cry.

    Has anyone made it through a FET with this issue?

    @mcgeeva so sorry this is happening.  FX that your doctor gets this figured out and you are able to have your transfer.
  • mcgeeva  UGH! Lets just hope it resolves! Ive heard of it happening to other girls, and sometimes it does clear up!

  • Ugh, @mcgeeva, that's so annoying! Fluid in the uterus can be a side effect of the Estrace. There are a few ladies on the IF board that have had this problem. I've only ever seen one instance where the RE aspirated instead of cancelled and that lady's cycle was a BFN (not sure if the two are in any way related).  I have seen it a few times where once the progesterone is started, the fluid disappears and all is good to go. I really hope that is the case for you too! FX!

  • Thanks ladies...I'm hoping this will be the case. I read and it doesn't sound like aspirating works. I knew I had fluid still from the retrieval but was hoping it would resolve. Then it makes me wonder if I will always have fluid. I feel like I had fluid when I started IVF to begin with so no flipping clue :/ Now I get to brace myself for family drama. It's possible I may lose my shit on someone if they act a fool in church. Today is NOT THE DAY.
