Hey y'all! My name is Ashley, I'm 24, and I have a 3 year old daughter named Leia. My husband and I have been married for about 3 1/2 years (ignore my name, we actually got married in 2014 lol) I found out yesterday that I am pregnant with baby #2 (4w 3d today), which is amazing because I was also diagnosed with PCOS a month ago. I'm so excited to be here!
@knottie0fcb94a5ed84a824 Welcome! Don't forget to head over to the Knot (the Bump's parent site) to change your screen name so we can all remember who you are and get know you better. After you change it, log out of the Bump and back in, and it should be updated here. Thanks!
Hello! Im Trisha Ive been ttc#2 since 9/2015. I have PCOS as well as blocked tubes. That led me to go the IVR route. My first IVF transfer was on 3/8/18 and received my BFP 4dp5dt! We transferred two embabies so we are excited to find out how many stuck! (I'm hoping for two!)
My edd is 11/24/18, I go for my first beta monday and my first ultrasound on 3/28/18!

Hey everyone! I’m 35 and DH is 38. This is my sixth pregnancy. I have 1 DD born Dec ‘16. We have 2 dogs and 1 cat. We live in central WI. My EDD is 11/1 and I have my first U/S 3/21. I have MTHFR and Factor V which has resulted in multiple miscarriages. This one was a little bit of a surprise as we weren’t going to try anymore after our last loss. Hope everyone has safe and healthy pregnancies and looking forward to following along with everyone.
Hi Ladies! First time posting so please excuse me for not getting the lingo down yet. Took a home test last week and we are pregnant with our first!!! Pretty shocked, but thankful, how quick it worked! I am 33, my husband is 47 and it looks like the EDD is Nov 12. I have my first appointment April 11. They wanted to give me April 3 but I travel a lot for work so, while I can, am going to try to coordinate all the appointments. I think it will all be more 'real' (with the exception of my sore boobs and nausea) once April 11 comes....and it can't come soon enough!
@kbelly777 woo-hoo for number 3! I am slightly concerned I may go crazy being outnumbered..... although I also feel like our family will be complete after this baby is born
Hey everybody! I just got my first BFP this week and am cautiously excited to join you all! Looking like an EDD of November 23-ish for me... Feeling super nervous this early on! My OB office doesn't do exams until 12 weeks so I'm feeling like I have to go forever without knowing how things are going.
Hey ladies! I'm only 12dpo so there's plenty of time for shit to hit the fan but I got a BFP this morning and I'm so excited! My EDD is nov 25th!
About me - I'm 27, DH is 28 and we have a 20 month old DD as well as a 5-6 year old beagle (gotta rep the fur babies). I got my mirena out in mid January and had a really wonky cycle coming off of it so I'm feeling really fortunate that I got pregnant my first normal-ish cycle. I'm still nervous because its SO early still but hopefully I'll be hanging out with you ladies.
New to TB but have been lurking around boards to get a feel for the community
Currently 5w6d with this babe. I’m 36, DH is 45. We have a blended family with my three DS 13, DS 11, DD 8; his two DS 13, DD 10; and two dogs, one of which we just adopted the day before my BFP! (Tw* we lost one baby early last year at about 8 weeks, which appeared to have stopped developing around 6 weeks, right about where I’m at now *tw) I’m also type 1 diabetic, so all my pregnancies have been high risk. Given our ages and my health, I am working SO hard to stay positive and not let my anxiety steal the wonder of this little miracle. Because of last year’s experience and because i’m feeling the same now, I had blood work done this morning, will do again on Tuesday, and waiting to hear about an ultrasound apppintment either today or Monday.
Happy to “meet” you all and hoping I’ll get to stick around
Hello everyone!! I am 27 and my partner is 28, we are expecting our first baby and I'm 6 weeks today! We are currently in MD. We have one dog and one cat
Hi, everyone! I got my BFP this past Sunday. This will be my second, and we're super excited to add another little monster to our family! I've been a SAHM since my son was born. I'm into photography, cooking, reading, and wine-drinking (which I will greatly miss!).
I wasn't active on The Bump board the first time around, but thought I'd get involved this time! Can't wait to get to know you ladies!
First time momma here! DH and I got married in May 2016 and have known each other since high school. We live in Texas! I teach Pre-K and he is an engineer.
We are so excited to start this new chapter in our lives! Our estimated due date is 11/5! Both of us are Nov babies so it was so fitting!
We currently have 4 fur babies (3 dogs-Lucy, Sammy, Bear and 1 cat- Gilbert) and have wonderful friends and family supporting us.
Can't wait to see how everyone progresses and share our thoughts togethers. Congrats everyone!

Yay for another Marylander! I'm from Maryland too. Don't forget to head over to the Knot (the Bump's parent site) to change your screen name so we can all remember who you are more easily. After you change it, log out of your account and back in and your new name should appear here.
Hi! My name is Amanda. My husband and I live in NKY. I'll be 36 soon, my husband is 31, and we are expecting our first, but not for the first time. We've had two very early losses in the past couple of years, and right now we're further than we've ever been. I have PCOS and a positive ANA, and had lost about 70 lbs in the six months before this pregnancy. We had a scan yesterday and we were able to see the heartbeat! 121 BPM at 6w2d! We're nervous and hopeful.
Hello! Second time mom here to DD born in 2016. I was always too intimidated to participate in that board but am hoping to be somewhat active here! I am 27 and have been married 3 years. My EDD is November 12. Hoping for a healthy pregnancy as I have type 1 diabetes.

Happy to see another T1D! My first pregnancy was so scary and I felt like I had no one to relate to in regards to being diabetic. Wishing you a healthy pregnancy & hoping we can use each other as another resource for navigating being pregnant with type one!
My name is Aly - I'm 32, married, mama to one wild 3 yr old. We live in Murfreesboro, TN and I am a SAHM and sell makeup. My MIL lives with us and we have a 100 lb golden lab. Life is always crazy.
We stopped "preventing" in November and I got my BFP on March 9th. I had my first OB appt on the 15th (it was more of an intro than anything, since its a new doc for me). I go for viability scan on March 30th!
This is my second pregnancy, my first was born Jan 2015! I'm super nervous because I don't "feel" pregnant this time - but also very excited/hopeful.
I’m 33, live in Arizona with my husband and our 2 1/2 year old boy. I am pregnant with our second child. We were not trying to conceive but we are very excited for this new chapter anyway! Found out I was pregnant at the doctor’s office this Thursday 3/15/2018 through a blood test completed the day before (9units HCG). I found this out at 8DPO but I wonder if I ovulated 2 days sooner and implanted 2 days before the exam because I had implantation bleeding the day of my blood test, and HCG doesn’t build up UNTIL after implantation. Has anyone ever gotten a BFP and then have implantation spotting 4-5 days after? I am Definitely still in shock. We had been trying the year before with no success and decided to wait a bit this year until after I transition in to my new job position in April. Guess that plan is now out the window! LOL.
Hi everyone, I got a very faint line 2 days ago and today got a stronger line so I’m 4 weeks pregnant and due November 24th. I have a 3 year old daughter and I’m so excited to give her a little brother or sister and do this all again. My husband and I are 31, live in Philadelphia with or daughter and a dog. I don’t have my first appointment isn’t until 10 weeks on may 1st
Timidly introducing myself here... I got my BFP yesterday on a FRER and then on a digital this morning so here I am. I’m due somewhere between Nov. 22 and 27. I have a nearly 1.5 year old daughter born by scheduled c-section. I’m so excited for her to have a brother or sister.
Happy to be here! I had a great experience on my last BMB and I’m looking forward to getting to know all of you.
TW * Loss in spoiler
I had MC right before DD was conceived and a CP last month. I don’t think this will feel real until I see that little heartbeat.
Hello all! I’m so excited to be apart of this birth board! My DH and I found out on 3.7.18 that we are expecting our fourth (AND FINAL) baby 11.17.18. We have two sons, Griffin (5), and Grant (3), and one daughter, Everly (1). We also have two Beagles, Beau and Buford, and a fluffy rescue cat, Bonnie.
Prior to Griffin, I suffered two miscarriages, but fortunately, the problem was discovered and corrected by clomid. Nothing too invasive. The memories of those experiences do cause me some anxiety with each pregnancy, but I’m doing my best to stay positive and busy! My first appointment is 3.28.18.
My husband is a LEO and I teach. We are from North Alabama.
Hello! I got my BFP this past week and have confirmed with blood tests. I’m 33, DH is 34 and this will be our first child. **TW We’ve been TTC for almost 3 years, with 3 early losses last year. End TW** So far, everything is going well and I’m due 11/25. I’m very hopeful, but it’s still too early for me to get properly excited.
Anyway, I’m a lawyer and DH works for a utility company. We have two furbabies (pups) who light up my days: Charlie and Shelby. I’m happy to be joining the group, hope I get to stay and am looking forward to getting to know you ladies!
Hello! I'm cautiously excited to introduce myself here.
We got our BFP this past week (and some, we did a lot of 'just once more to be sure' tests) and we're expecting our first baby! I'm due about the 28th of November by my calculations. It's 2 weeks after DH's birthday so that's pretty exciting. Our first appointment is tomorrow! I have a few health issues so we're taking a cautious but hopeful approach this early.
Anyway, I'm a librarian/historian and DH is an engineer who works in the dairy industry. We live in Auckland, NZ for now but we're in the process of looking for work in Taranaki which is a lovely rural area about 4 hours away. We have a kitten called Tonks who is a great housemate/overlord and master.
I can't wait to get to know all of you, this BMB looks like an awesome group of people.
Hi ladies! My faint positive came on March 7th and my BFP on March 13th, which was 3 days after my expected AF. My EDD is 11/15 and first appointment is at the end of April! Our DS is 3 years old and telling us he wants a baby sister so I guess we will see! Ha! DH and I are both 30 and beyond excited to add to our little family. I'm looking forward to doing this thing again and hearing about all of your journeys!
Hi mamas! I'm excited to see a few fellow August 16 mamas and Texans!
I just got my BFP and I'm so excited. I'm 30 and live in Texas with my family. I stay at home with my 3 kiddos and 1 useless feline. My husband and I have been married for 8 years and our kids are 6, 3, and 1.
I am due around Thanksgiving and am looking forward to getting to know you ladies!
Hi ladies! Excited to meet you all, TB was a huge part of helping me keep sane during my first pregnancy back April 15 (before TB exploded, hence the new username).
I’m a 32yo living in Japan with my 41yo Japanese husband. It took 13 cycles but we got a BFP a few days ago! Already feeling anxious (yay PPAD) as they are quite strict on weight here and I never dropped my postpartum weight from DS, whoops.
Helo! First timer here, with 7weeks under my belt (pun intended). Looking forward to grow and learn with this group. EDD according to app is Nov 5th. First obgyn is it scheduled for 04/06. Can’t come soon enough.
Hello All! This is my first time joining a forum! Im super excited and i am also a first time mom! Im 26 and the DH is 40. This will be his first child as well. Better late then never.
I got my BFP on February 23rd and I am due November 5th. I will be 7 weeks tomorrow and I'm scheduled for my first ultrasound this Wednesday!! I live in Charlotte, NC and I work in HR.
I have been dealing with anxiety for the past 2 years and I am not sure how it will affect my pregnancy. I hope to form positive bonds and share support with fellow moms to be.
Super excited! My fiance and I are expecting our first child. We got engaged on 3/2, and got my BFP one week later after 3 days missed AF and after TTC for 6 months (IUD removed 9/2017 after 5 yrs). I am 34, and fiance is 39 and we can't believe it's really happening! We've both never been married or have kids, so March has been an exciting month! EDD according to the app is Nov. 17. I work in Aerospace and he in the medical field.
I read EVERYTHING and am worried sick of a MC, but I am also enjoying every nauseous and exhausted moment since it's a good sign!
Prayers for a successful and healthy 8 more months!!!
Hi everyone! It's been a long road getting here. You can see our journey in my signature - been a crazy ride! So grateful to be 5w3d pregnant right now. I believe I am due on 11/16/18 - but won't really know until my first ultrasound on 4/2/18. So excited to be here with all of you!
Me: Diminished ovarian reserve Husband: Azoospermia Oct/Nov 2017: IVF with donor sperm cycle - fresh transfer results in m/c at 5w 2/28/18: Frozen embryo transfer 3/4/18: BFP! 3/9/18: Beta #1 at 9dp6dt - 117! 3/12/18: Beta #2 at 12dp6dt - 336! 3/21/18: Beta #3 at 21dp6dt - 10,808!
I decided I'd come out of lurking and join today! I'm due somewhere around November 10th, I think (first appt in April will confirm, bc my periods were all over the place). This will be our fourth (and also final!) baby. We have three girls: L (4, will be 5 in July), C (2, will be 3 in May), and E (just turned 1). Excited to see if this is another girl! I will be thrilled either way.
We live in Fairfield County, CT, just outside of NYC. I stay at home with my girls and my husband works in the city. Pretty nervous as to how I am going to handle 4 kids, but I guess you just do what you have to!
I was really involved in the birth month board with my oldest daughter (July '13), and we are all super close in our facebook group now. Looking forward to getting to know you all!
Mom to three girls and pregnant with #4! L: 7/12/13 C: 5/11/15 E: 3/7/17 Due 11/10/18
Hi ladies! Second timer here. I'm 38 years old, DH is 44, and DS is 21 months, and we are from the Boston area. This was a FET round for us and, with all of the myriad testing we had, we knew this one was a girl before they even put it in. (Yay, science!) No official due date yet but internet calculators are telling me 11/22 based on the date of our transfer. Having had a few losses in the past, I am at least equal parts nervous and excited. Previously, I was a pretty big lurker on these boards, so I'm trying to be a little more active this time and actually post. So, hi! Happy to meet all of you!
