I've officially given up on accessing the app or TB from my phone. I've redownloaded and logged back in like 10x on the app. I opened TB in my browser and it pulled up my old account. I had a different account when I was pg with DS and I removed most of the content when the mass exodus happened. I created a new one this time around, and I can't find a 'log out' option when I pull it up in Safari or my Google app. So yeah, first world problems, but super annoying!
@lolog531 Have you cleared the cache on your phone lately? If unsure how, just Google "how do I clear the cache on whateverphonebrand model.#". I find that sometimes when my apps don't work right, doing so helps. I'm sorry you're having so much trouble. I find the app janky, especially on the picture threads (ultrasounds, HDBD, etc) but otherwise it mostly works when you're away from home and a computer. Hopefully you can get it figured out!

@Firemanswife11 with ds I knew he was a boy the moment the stick turned and would tell everyone it was going to be a boy. With this one it took me a while but I finally have the gut it's a girl. But this time I'm not comfortable like I was with him to tell anyone.
I'm also a weirdo that doesn't get that excitement or joy with ultrasounds, i think the novelty wore off with the bazillion I had with ds. I was happy to have our nt to be able to see the health, but I don't like them enough to elect for one that isn't looking for necessary information. I get why most people like them, it's just not my thing. Also ds wants me to just chase/race him around the house for the next few hours. We need to find something fun to do today.

YESS it worked! I cleared all history on Safari so now I was able to log in correctly. That app is still garbage at this point, but at least I don't feel so out of the loop when I"m not at work and at a computer all day! Thank you!
@dirtanddiamonds fab!!! New carpet just gives a room a whole new life! We need to replace carpet in two rooms, I need to get on it ASAP. I’ve never had carpet before...anything special I need to know? Something about the different padding you can put underneath???
Always do 8 lb pad. It’s a few cents more and makes all the difference in the world. Like on an entire house (3000 sq ft) it might be a couple hundred dollars more. It’s the difference between night and day. A cheap pad just feels like you are walking on the subfloor. Folks always want a good deal and it seems logical to save a few pennies on the pad under a nice plush carpeting but the difference is just amazing.
We are officially team BLUE! My DD is so upset that now she doesn’t want a baby at all. I have to admit I was a little bummed at first but just because we are going to have to get rid of 4 years of girl clothes and get all new clothes but I am pretty excited to have a little boy.

We haven’t told my daughter it is a boy yet because I don’t want her to go blab to everyone. We are keeping it to ourselves for a little. It is fun to see people guess what they think we are having while secretly knowing if they are right or wrong. Anyways, my daughter has made it known that she wants a little sister. I have had continuous conversations with her that it may be a baby brother. I think she is going to be upset as well and she is also 4.

aaah @lolog531 That is sooooo cute! And especially cuter because I really want my son to understand he's getting a little brother but he's too young to get it. So this is what I pretend he would say in my imagination.

@livinthesunnylife It actually was adorable! He has this matter of fact tone, and his new thing is to scrunch his face a little, look at your sternly and point his finger. I know it isn't nice to point, but I can't help but giggle every time he does it! How old is your DS? MIne will be 3 in May, so his personality is definitely shining through these days!

I am hoping this is the case. We went to look for baby items and she was picking all girl stuff. When I would pick boy stuff she made a point to inform me that, that wasn’t for a girl. I need to tell her soon.

My four year old is like yeah whatever. She doesn’t care to know what’s going on. I’m like mommy has a baby in her belly. And I swear she’s like AND YOUR POINT IS. Lol. I don’t know if she doesn’t understand or truly doesn’t grasp what’s about to happen. Oh well
@livinthesunnylife - ditto! We started telling DS that he's going to be a big brother and I might as well have been reading him the Bill of Rights. He's 18 months, he's got more important things to do than listen to mama ramble!

My son will be 3 in June and he talks like he gets it, but I don’t think he fully understands what is or what is going to happen in our family and in his little world.
DS is almost two and he will hug and kiss my belly and laughs when DH talks to it but I don’t think he really grasps what’s going on! Although he is around babies plenty so he might have a slight notion.
DS understands and likes the fruit comparisons but says he’s scared because he doesn’t know what to do with a baby. Lmao like he will be in charge of it.
Sidenote, DH brought Home non alcoholic wine. I’m preparing myself for it to taste nothing like the real stuff. I never tried it.
I'm actually loving that DS is older than I had planned when we give him a sibling, because since we told him, he's been saying "MY baby is in your belly" and that he's going to give him baby milk and snacks when he comes out. He was just telling me today that he's going to play with him when he comes out and he will give him his cars (heart melted at that). He also always wants to kiss and hug my belly, and yesterday morning when he came into our room, he, totally unprompted, started singing to the baby

Man this was quite the work trip. One of the guys who has been with the company since it started got so drunk last night he was lighting propane camping tanks on fire and they fired him. I got to help paint one of our very important things (can’t really disclose what it is without giving my job away haha) and then today we almost missed our flight cuz they changed gates and we didn’t realize it so we had to run, got on the plane and realized one of our guys was left behind. His phone is dead and he left his charger at the hotel so nobody knows what happened to him. I am soooo ready to get home and kiss my boys and go to sleep. OH and I got sunburned somehow and was wearing a chunky necklace so i look like have a weird rash on my chest.

He also jumped out of a moving car into another car and dented the front panel. It was wild.

Grrr! I'm always on mobile and can't access hdbd without the app crashing because of the pictures, so I can't post mine! I'm posting one here because I finally have one to share....maybe in a few weeks I'll try to be one of the first ones to hdbd a photo so the app won't crash!!

@livinthesunnylife my 18 month will pull my shirt up and belly band down to poke my belly when I ask him where mommy's baby is. Keep doing it! By the end of the pregnancy it will be so cute even if they don't completely get it.
At PT conferences one of the moms with whom I’m pretty friendly (as far as PT friendliness can go) told me I should totally come hang out at their house this summer and use the pool and I can bring DS and the girls (my students) will watch him and that she’d get her daughter to get my cell number so that she could contact me when school gets out. Trying to find a polite way to say Fuck No.
My MIL texted me to get pregnancy updates today, and then signed off with "Take care, Mommy." Ugh! I didn't realize quite how much I hate the term "mommy" until that happened. I'm going to have to teach my kid "mom" or "ma" or "mama" but shut down "mommy" ASAP. I don't know why I have such a visceral reaction to that term, but I'm finding it upsetting. I don't think I ever called my mom "mommy" so maybe that's why?
