DS was a June 14 baby, and DD followed shortly after in May 16.
We thought we were done but life happens while you're busy making other plans and here we are! Still in shock and feeling very overwhelmed and unprepared, but I know we will figure it out
Hi Ladies! I’m so happy to a part of this board, it still doesn’t feel real!
I’m 34, my DH and I have been trying for our first for 7 months. We have experienced two early losses (a cp in December and at 6 weeks in July). We live in lovely Washington State with our two toy poodles. We enjoy gardening, diy projects around the house and traveling. I’m a clarinetist and play in a local ensemble, yay band! I work for a university in development and my husband is in the electrical trade.
We are newlyweds and so can’t wait to welcome a baby into our life! Our expected due date is October 17th.
Hoping for a happy, healthy 9 months for all of us!
OMG! Congrats @eleven_ and @ChloandCoco! I was wondering where you guys went. So happy for you both

We found out yesterday we are expecting our 2nd! It's still very early, so we are cautiously excited. *TW* We had a loss at 8 weeks at the end of November, so it's hard not to read into every little thing as a bad sign. It's still very early, but I am hopeful that I will get to stay with you all!
@eleven_@ChloandCoco How did I not know you guys were over here?! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
Hi all! I’ve been waiting for my membership to activate so I could join in.
This is the first for my hubby and I, so we have no idea what we’re doing but we’re super excited! EDD Oct 11th. We’ve been married 1.5 years. We live in Colorado. I’m an engineer and he’s a financial advisor. We have two fur babies: Kevin (miniature schnauzer) and Butterbean (cat).
@hannaht8516 - I have two mini schnauzers, and I’ve always joked about naming our next one Kevin because I find it hilarious when dogs have completely human names
Hi! I'm a SAHM to a 3 yo DS and 1 yo DD. Due date of 10/13. This was kind of unexpected, I thought I was avoiding during the right week. Maybe not. Whoops! So here we are! Excited for my first appt on the 12th hi everyone!
I feel like I'm the only one who didn't plan to be here, lol.
Anyways. I'm a married mom of 2 girls. One will be 9 next month. The other is 2 and some change. I'm a Head Librarian and a small business owner. I'm also working on my first novel which I'm hoping will be released in October of this year. Wouldn't that be awesome? October baby, October book.
My hobbies are video games, reading and talking trash in traffic.
I'm due Oct 12. I'm always high risk so I'm a bit nervous about this.
Hi everyone!! I just found out on Tuesday that I am pregnant . We have twin boys who are 8, and a 5 year old boy. This was a little unexpected, but I am starting to get really excited as I’ve had a little time to let it sink in. The due date looks like October 8. I can’t get into the OB until March 5.
I can’t wait to get to know you all!
Momma to twin 8 year old boys, and a 5 year old boy!
Hi all. This is my first pregnancy and we are due Oct 12th. I'm still in a bit of shock, but super excited. We've been trying since we got married in October 2017. It's our favorite month, so it just seems fitting.
My DH actually had a vascetomy reversal in Dec '16 and I have PCOS with IR, which is why I'm surprised it happened so easily.
I have a step son who's 6 (Nov '11). He can't wait to be a big brother, he's been asking since before we got married. We can't wait to tell him.
We live in MI. We love to hike and camp and rude Motorcycles. Not sure how much of the will happen this summer!!
*Lurking from TTGP* @eleven_@ChloandCoco and @acciocoffe Congratulations!! I was wondering where you guys went and thought our group was getting a little light!! Wishing you all a happy and healthy 9 months!!
Hello everyone! This is my first pregnancy at age 35, but I have an awesome almost 7 year old step daughter. I'm 5 weeks now. Crazy thing is my SO and I just bought a house a month ago and are fixing it up. We thought we'd have a spare room to turn into an office/ playroom. Nope! I couldn't be happier, but this little person has a strange sense of timing.
Hi everyone! I’ve been dying to post here but had to wait. My husband and I are so excited to finally be pregnant again. We found out we were expecting in July 2016. All was good until we found out baby had a severe heart defect, it was a completely heart wrenching time for us. We took time to heal and then began trying again in February of last year. It took us 12 full cycles and 3 iuis to conceive. My first appointment is Valentine’s Day, and estimated due date is 10/1 ❤️
Cautiously posting as it’s still early got a bfp this weekend, and hoping it sticks. I’m 35 and have a 1 1/2 year old son. My husband and I live in Michigan and both work in product development. I’m waiting to tell him on Wednesday for his birthday! It’s nice to see so many friendly faces from TTGP! (Looks like that tattoo is on hold @acciocoffee!).
I’m 29, soon to be 30. DH is 37. We live near Detroit. I have a SS who will be 18 in July. We have custody and he and I are very close. We actually don’t use the word step in our house. DS is 15 months and a total mama’s boy.
*TW* I had multiple losses before DS. I did Femara and Ovidrel to get pregnant with him. DH wanted more but it was a very difficult process and pregnancy, so I swore I was done. I tested on a whim on Jan 27 and surprise! Baby #2! Beta levels look good so far, I have one more tomorrow morning. Once I hit 2000 I go for a dating ultrasound. LMP was Dec 22 but I’m not measuring in line with that so I don’t know exactly how far along I am. I assume I’m due between 10/2 and 10/9.
Crazy part is my EDD with DS was 10/9. I was induced on 10/15 (DH’s birthday!) and he came 10/16. So looks like we may have three October birthdays soon! Four if you count DH’s identical twin brother.
I loved the O16 BMB and we are all still very close and active in our FB group. I hope to make some great friendships here too!!
Hi Everyone! Just got my positive test last week after trying since September. As I just found out, I haven't been to the doctor yet (trying to schedule an appointment soon), but I'm guessing (and as per all the apps I downloaded) that I'm due around October 10th. I'm about to make a post in another thread to ask a question (which might be silly) and I promise I won't bug you all too much. I have plenty of friends who just had babies or are currently pregnant, but until I can spill the beans, I'll be asking my questions here! I'm 33, from Philly, and wish you all much love and luck in these upcoming months!
I am 4w 1d with my first after 4 long years. Went through increasing doses of Clomid with no ovulation, increasing doses of Femara until I finally ovulated with 10mg and a trigger shot. Three rounds of that until I stopped responding. Three months of BCP to bring down my testosterone levels. First cycle after that the doctor found the sperm couldn't make it past my cervix (my cervix is an asshole) so we went to IUI. I finally got my miracle with the second IUI (unfortunately the timing of it meant that I had to do the IUI right after my grandmother's funeral)

Hi! My EDD is 10/1 and this is my first pregnancy! My husband and I have been married for almost 6 years and I’m 32 and he’s 35. He is a former Marine and we live in the DC metro area. We have 2 golden retrievers (1 is a puppy) and we love going on hikes, going to sporting events, and trying out new restaurants in the city. Our first doctor appt is on the 19th, we are very excited to be starting our family
Hi everyone! I just found out we are expecting baby #2 this morning! We currently have a DD who is 17 months old. S16. We had unexplained infertility when we were trying for DD and eventually had to go through IVF after SIX failed IUIs....so imagine how surprised we are that we got pregnant without our RE!!!! I am still in such shock!
A little bit about me. I'm in the S16 BMB and love the friendships I have made over there. It's pretty special. We live in NYC. I'm a teacher and my husband is a communications specialist for a non-profit. We love to travel -- looks like we are going to have to postpone the trip to Italy we wanted to take this summer...haha! I am just SO excited to be here. I've also noticed there are a lot of IVF moms on here...which makes me so happy.
I forgot to add that the due date calculator told me the baby's EDD is October 12th!
*lurking from TTGP* @acciocoffee & @jengibre_zorro Congrats you guys! Wishing you all healthy, happy, & uneventful 9 months ETA: updated tags

I was originally on July '18 bmb, but then I was diagnosed with a blighted ovum on December 22, and had a D&C on January 5. I am not sure on when I ovulated since I haven't had a period since the D&C, but I am estimating my EDD to be October 16 based on symptoms and when we dtd. I tested on Friday and received a very faint bfp, and I will be testing again tomorrow morning. This was not planned (though definitely wanted)as I was hoping to wait a little longer before ttc again as we wanted to take our honeymoon in August, but it seems that there were other plans intended for us.

Anyhow, I'm Shannon, I'm 29 and my DH (32) and I are from midwest MD. I have one DS (5) from a previous relationship and we have two dogs, two pigs, and two goats. I work in the construction field doing safety and worker compensation claims. I look forward to getting to know you ladies hopefully!
Hi Everyone! Cautiously joining as it is very early. I got a faint positive yesterday and a stronger but still faint positive today! EDD 10/17/18. Husband is not yet convinced lol
My name is Dana, I am 32 and my DH is 38 and we are from Maryland. We have one sassy and fun loving 2.5 DD (8/15) and a big fat orange cat named Julius. My husband and I are both nurses and we have been together 8 years, married 4 years this March.
My first pregnancy I developed uterine fibroids that caused early contractions/irritable uterus. I was on modified bed rest at 22 weeks and carried full term to 38 weeks. I had surgery in June 17 (open myomectomy) and I am praying the fibroids do not return this pregnancy!!!
Wishing everyone a happy and healthy 9 months and cant wait to get to know everyone
