Hello! I’m a teacher and love to read and travel. Our DD will be 2 in February and I’m due with #2 (hopefully) on October 6th. I had a MMC before my daughter and then focal placenta accreta with her so I’m anxious about having a repeat MMC since my uterus is a stage 5 clinger. I go in on the 21st for my first ultrasound and am both excited and dreading it. Here’s to very happy and uneventful pregnancies for all of us!
*Lurking from TTGP* @pebbledam AHHH YES YES YES!!!! I am sooooo thrilled for you girl! That is amazing Congratulations times a billion! *hugs* ETA: ETA: @eleven_ YAY!!! Congratulations! I'm so happy for you both!!!!

Hello everyone! I'm so excited that the October board is up and running now. I'm 35 years old and I have a beautiful daughter who will be 2 in July. My husband and I are super excited to meet baby #2 in early October. I'm a former Pre-kindergarten teacher and now I am a sahm. So far this pregnancy is pretty similar to my first. My glucose levels are already showing signs of gestational diabetes again, so I will probably be placed on insulin when I meet with diabetic education next week. I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you and share this awesome journey together.
@christina4436 the first day of my last period was 10/28 as well. Although I ovulated 1/10 and 1/11 would have been our date of conception giving me an Oct 4 DD. People can ovulate at different times so it's possible you ovulated later. You asked for similar stats so I wanted to share mine with you.
So I am also happy this board is finally available. I was lurking on Sept this past week. My DD is Oct 4th. My DH and I have a son who is 2.5 and a 6 year old boxer/ridgeback mix fur baby. My last pregnancy took 11 months ttc. This time around I started using the Creighton Model and it only took 3 months DH was kind of hoping it would take a little longer but with my medical history I would have been happy if it happened last year!
I work with Beautycounter on educating and promoting safer personal care products. Luckily I can do that from home, keeping me around to be a stay-at-home mom too! I was somewhat active on the BMB July '15 but haven't been on there in about a year so I am going to have to brush up on abbreviations haha!
I will keep you all in my prayers and hope we have a great time here!
Hello everyone! My due date is October 11th. My DH and I have a son who is 20 months (I was fairly active on the May 2016 BMB!) We also have a Great Dane and a cat who thinks he's a dog. *TW I have recently had 2 back to back chemical pregnancies and really hoping this one is sticky!! End *TW
I live in Ontario Canada. DH and I have been married for almost 3 years, but have been together for 13. He was my high school sweetheart We are currently in the midst of renovating our new home, so that's been fun!
Hello all! Happy to see this board here finally! Looks like my due date is October 7. I am a 34 year old sahm living in the Midwest with an almost 6 year old daughter and 2 year old son. My husband and I have been married almost 8 years. This will be baby #3 and we are team green (we were with our son and daughter and we LOVED it!) I will be a repeat c-section, as I had an emergency with DD and had a scheduled with DS. My first appointment and ultrasound is March 7! Looking forward to sharing this journey with you all!
Hello. I'm glad to be joining you ladies. I am very close to my original BMB in April 2015 and that turned into a Facebook spinoff group. Several of us have met in person and it has led to some great friendships. Very glad to meet you all!
I'm a thirty year-old financial analyst living in Oklahoma. I have one son who will be 3 in April. It appears my EDD is Oct 13th (too bad it's not on a Friday this year. haha). I had an unplanned CS last time and am hopeful for a VBAC this go around but trying to mentally prepare myself in case that isn't in the cards.
Hello all! So excited to be joining y'all. I'm 33, married to dh 9 years expecting our 4th. We have a 5 y/o son, 3 y/o son, and a 10.5 m/o daughter.
I so desperately want to be an active board member and have failed miserably in the past. I'm a sahm and a bit busy. But I really want to participate and encourage as much as I can. I don't know where I'd be if I didn't have the help and advice of other moms when I was a first time mama.
Married to DH May 2009 DS1 April 2012 DS2 July 2014 #3 due March 2017
I am due 10/6. This will be #3 after a vasectomy reversal and couldn't be more excited. I have a dd that is 6 and ds that is 4 and we thought we were done. We were wrong! (My poor sweet DH.)
I became a full time stay at home mom just this year so looking forward to being home with this LO. I was a dance teacher and still enjoy dancing and being active. We live in the Pacific Northwest and enjoy all the seasons.
Looking forward to going through this journey with y'all.
I’m due with #2 October 2nd. DS just turned 2 in November and I was active on the N15 board. I also have 13 year old black lab. I’m an elementary music teacher from MD.
Hello! I just found out yesterday that I’m expecting #2. My due date is Oct 12 based on my dates I think. I have an amazing daughter who just turned 3 and is the light and joy of my life. My husband and I have been together 14 years and married for 5. I just turned 36 and live in Ontario, Canada. Right now I think I’m in a bit of shock, it doesn’t seem real yet!
*TW this is my third pregnancy, I had a loss last summer. Yesterday would have been my due date. It also happened to be the date I got my BFP. I’m not sure what to make of that! I hope that by joining this group I can help replace some of the fear and anxiety with excitement, but otherwise I’m really looking forward to getting through the next 8 weeks!*
Hello everyone! DH and I were TTC since sept 17 *TW We MC last december at 8 weeks* EDD Oct 8th and I still don't have appointment but I live in Mexico and things are a little bit different.
DS was born Jun 16 and we have 2 dogs that are great big brothers. I work as a manager in a family-run company so lots of schedule flexibility but also lots of stress.
Last pregnancy I wasn't really active in the board (although I read every post) because I'm not English native speaker and I was afraid someone would make fun of me but this time I really want to participate since I now understand the importance of having a community.
I love reading, cooking and just exploring the world with my tot.
Hi everybody! I’m 30 and Dh is 32. We’ve been trying for two years and had unexplained IF with one loss. We’ve done 6 failed iui’s. We did Ivf this January and got a BFP, with one frozen blastocyst! Our first ultrasound is Feb 22nd! We’ve started calling our little one Carl, which is so funny because that’s not a name we would choose once the baby’s born
On a personal note about me: I’m a 3rd grade teacher, i have a goldendoodle I love dearly, and I love camping so we’ll see how that goes when I’m 6 months pregnant! Haha.

Hey ladies! I’ve been lurking for a few days waiting for my membership to activate so I can reply
H and I are both 35 and live in DC, this is my first pregnancy and I’m due 10/3. It definitely does not feel real yet, and I don’t have my first appointment until 2/26 - but in the meantime we’re going to Australia for 2 1/2 weeks, so I bought some compression socks for the flight and am keeping my fingers crossed nothing goes wrong while we’re there!
I’m obsessed with travel, photography, food and football. Looking forward to seeing my eagles in the super bowl this weekend, just hoping they don’t break my heart as usual.
Hello all, first of all -- congrats to everyone! I love reading everyone's stories. I am very new to the world of message boards but I'm so excited to be here!
I'm 28 and my DH is 29. We live in Nashville with our two cats, and we can't wait to bring a little one home, too. I got my BFP on 1/24 and my EDD is 10/8. I've been thinking and dreaming of being a mama for so long, it feels surreal and exhilarating to think that it's finally my turn.
@keiragann yesss! So happy to see another birds fan here. I got my BFP the morning of the NFC Championship, so that was a huge day for us. We keep saying 2018 is going to be our year
After the first and only cycle TTC, here we are. No one is more surprised than my husband and I, trust me on that one. We are due October 1 and this is our first nugget! Trying not to get too worked up before my 8-week appointment, but we all know that's not possible.
Falcons fan (so hard to be 100% of the time), cat mom of two, and a home body by choice.
Just found out this morning that I'm pregnant with #2! Due date looks like it's around October 16. DS was born December 2016... and I know of at least one other D16-er here!
Anyway, I just turned 36, DH is 38, and we live in California.
@IB113 it's so exciting to see some July 2016 moms again! My user name back then was mamabondi. I was fairly active in the group until my daughter was born, then it seems like most people left. I haven't been on the board in ages.
Hi ladies, I'm tentatively going to join in, I got a vvf BFP this morning at 9dpo, EDD is October 17th. I have a 2.5 year old DD, a 5 year old corgi, and we are from Canada. TW** Last year I had 3 early losses and will be on progesterone this time.**End TW
Hi my names Kaytie and I’m new! New to the bump and New to being pregnant! I found out last night on a dollar store test and confirmed with FRER this morning!
I have another October baby on the way EDD October 13th. My DD was born October 04, 2016 she will be 2 when this little bean is born.
Me and my SO are both 24. I’m a SAHM and he works aviation. Building the interior of planes for united airlines. I have a stepdaughter who will be 3 in March.
We actually didn’t plan on getting pregnant this cycle, last time it took us a few cycles to get KU but I guess it was in the cards to have another October baby, guess January is our lucky month. I’m praying for a sticky bean and a happy healthy 9months TW I did have a MC and D&C in 2013 so I’m always a little worried it will happen again.
I love to sing. I’m pretty good at it. I think I like to dance but I’m just awful at that. I’m planning a baby moon next month because it will be the only time for a while that I will be able to actually enjoy a vacation before the new baby gets here. We’re going to London, England for a week. I’m thinking of doing a pregnancy announcement while there. I’ll have to come up with some ideas. Any help would be appreciated!
I cant wait to get to know everyone and share this journey with y’all!
Hi! My name is Lindsey. This isn’t my second pregnancy. I have a 2 year old (D15) daughter. We are excited to have another little one. We live in North Carolina. I used to be a Dental Hygienist; haven’t found a new job since moving to N.C. our family enjoys outings to the aquarium, zoo, and beach.
Recently found out we’re expecting our fourth. EDD is Oct 14th based on ovulation, but will have a dating ultrasound in a few weeks as I haven’t had a period in years. Our son and older daughter are school-aged and we have a toddler daughter as well. I’m planning to be cautious about what details I share.
(TW: Loss)
I’ve had issues with recurrent loss - I’m in the double digits for number of pregnancies - so I’m always very nervous for the first few months. This pregnancy was a surprise in that it happened so easily (first cycle TTC-ish) so it feels too good to be true.
Also I am a health care professional and have a low tolerance for the large amount of nonsense that gets spread about pregnancy and parenting.
Looking forward to getting to know everyone over the coming months.
~ K.
