Benched due to deployment- Off the bench 8/8/17!
@mrslittlemac and @cthulu, thinking of you both.
I had no time for bumping yesterday. US maternity leave is an absolute joke, I had to use my sick days for the 6 weeks paid, took the other 6 weeks unpaid for fmla, and then it was summer vacation. (I used to teach). I ended up resigning to stay home which I sometimes regret, but here I am. I would have had no sick days if DS got sick. DH has what I call his cushy government job, so he has plenty of sick leave and PTO saves up he can take, just needs it approved in advance.

I've done hemming before, but not every pant can be hemmed and still look right. Straight leg definitely hem the best, but anything with details at the bottom or a heavy taper looks really weird. The narrowest part of the leg meant for the knee frequently hits me mid calf, and that always looks off. I can hem an inch or two, no sweat, but 4 inches gets into a hairier situation. I'm hoping it isn't my last resort.

@calimom2524 Ugh. That's just dumb. Then again, I'm not a fan of places as names. (UO?)
I made a huge bowl of pasta on Tuesday because H went out of town and I didn't want to cook the rest of the week. I've been eating it for 3 days now and I'm really sick of it - How do those people who meal prep one thing the entire week do it??

I'm getting a little emotional cleaning my bathroom because I have my show tunes playlist going and I remembered listening to musicals and singing with my mom as we cleaned when I was little, which led to me being heavily involved in theater in high school and college, and I'm excited to sing show tunes with my little munchkin.

Going shopping with my mom and sister tomorrow and need to find clothes for a semi business trip/vacation in Vancouver when I will be ~20 weeks. Trying not to drop too much money now since I don't really know how big I will be, but my mom is not in town very often and it's fun to start thinking about!

@ecwk sorry about the biting! Hopefully he will grow out of it as I know most do. DS was never a biter, but there were a few in his last classroom and he was the receiver quite a few times. Even though I was never happy he got bit, I always empathized with the biters parents because I knew it Couldn’t be an easy thing to try and handle. Hugs lady!!!

Chicago is terrible. This should totally go in the UO thread, but I watch the Kardashian’s if I catch it on. It’s so awful but I just can’t look away.
@cthulu fingers crossed for you too! So glad they ordered betas so you get answers sooner!
Thank you all for the concern and good vibes!!! I meant to update between the U/S and work, but the appointment ran way over and I ended up 40 minutes late to work
Things still look okay, but they discovered a (new?) fairly large SCH that is apparently the culprit of the spotting. Still not sure on the cramping but I'm sure it's partially just things shifting. Baby looked good though! 152BPM heartbeat and measuring ahead of the last U/S by an additional 2 days. So now they've moved me to July 28 to split the difference. Eeep!
