Hi everyone!! I am 5 weeks pregnant with hopefully our second sticky baby!
TW: I’ve had 2 early miscarriages, one before my 2.5 year old daughter was born and one that resulted in a D&C this past August. I’ve been working hard on learning to trust my body again and feel surprisingly calm about this pregnancy! End TW
I am so happy to hear such amazing stories and hope that we’ll have (mostly) enjoyable pregnancies together. I’ve been experiencing ALOT of nausea and super sore breasts. Though part of me loves these feelings as they remind me of the immense changes my body is going through. I am a music therapist (part time) and stay at home mom. Music helped me so much during my last pregnancy, labor and delivery. I did struggle after birth with postpartum depression and am hopeful that me and my husband having more knowledge and experience will help us navigate that in a healthier way if it comes up again.
Hello! Evangeline here, first time mom! I was lurking a bit on the August 2018 board as my due date is hovering around 8/31-9/1. Went to my first ultrasounds today (I have PCOS and am 33 so they are keeping a close eye on me) and I measured 5 weeks 6 days so my due date is officially 9/1 and I am happy to be joining the September board! I truthfully really wanted September over August as I much prefer the fall season haha.
My husband and I have been married over 5 years and just started really trying, after not preventing for a long time, in September. We are both very excited. And he is 100% nervous! I live in the Boston area, on the same street as my sister and her four kids (all under 5!) and cannot wait to have a LO so the cousins can play together. Congratulations to everyone! I hope it is an easy, happy and healthy 9 months for all.
Hi everyone and congratulations on your bfps. I'm 28 yrs old, been married for 5 years and have been with my DH since I was 12 years old. We have been trying for a baby for 2 years now. I was pregnant in Feb of 2017 but ended in a MMC, my little bean didn't have a heart beat at 6 weeks 1 day. I decided to trust my body and let it pass naturally. On my birthday and 10weeks in, it finally happened. It was a emotional and mental rollercoaster to say the least. We have been trying again since and finally on new years eve got my BFP. It was light lines so I've been nervous but they have gotten a lot darker now. I'm scared, and have a lot of anxiety but super happy! I'm from Oregon, but spend half the year in puerto vallarta mexico. I wish everyone a Happy and Healthy 9 months!
Hi! I'm Hilary and am from north Alabama. My DH and I have been married for 12+ years, and we have three sons who are 5, 3, and 1 respectively. I just found out I was pregnant earlier this week. Pleasantly shocked, excited, and a wee bit apprehensive would be the best way to describe how I/we are feeling right now. While this pregnancy is planned inasmuch as we discussed it and began NTNP, it wasn't expected quite so soon per se (we were TTC - charting, temping, OPKs, etc. - for over a year with our last, and I just had my first PPP to boot last month). This will be our second time around with two under two, and they will all be 5 and under when this baby is born. It'll be a madhouse, but I'm looking forward to the madness.
FWIW, I was active on the bump before under a previous username (H4aPartyof5) in both TTGP and my D16 group before it migrated to FB. Glad to see some familiar 'faces' as well as to be here myself, and looking forward to getting to know you all.
Im an STM—my son turned 2 in September—and we tried for five months for #2 after three months of waiting to be cleared to try by my doctor (I have lupus) so I am SO happy to be here.
I got my BFP on 12/26 (the day I missed my period) and then took two more tests at home before calling the OBGYN because I couldn’t believe it. I had to do two betas because I found out so early but they both came back positive and the levels are multiplying well. My EDD is 9/4 and i have my first appointment for a dating ultrasound on 1/16. FX everything goes well!
@southernlady07 Congratulations on your Masters! I was working on mine while pregnant with DS and it was no joke. That is a wonderful accomplishment and it feels so good to be done!
I have changed my due date on The Bump 3 times in a year!! I have 2 living children ages 21 years old and 3.5. I’ve since had 3 losses in 1 year at 20 weeks, 9 weeks and 5 weeks. We then found a mass in my uterus that has been removed and assumed to be the cause of the losses due to poor implantation. Aye aye aye!!
We lost the 20 wk little girl on Jan 4th 2017 which is when I got my first BFP this go around. I’m under the care of an RE so I will start blood draws Monday and an ultrasound at 5 weeks.
I’m cautiously optimistic and am looking forward to STAYING on this board with ALL of you ladies for he next 9 months!!!
Hi everyone! i am a STM. I have a 4 year old DD and have been trying for this LO for 3 long years. my EDD is 9/5. TW after a CP in February and several failed IUIs we tried our hands at a round of IVF. It will be our only try as insurance doesn’t cover it. I am cautiously optimistic joining as betas have been rising slowly but improving. End TW
i have my first U/S on 1/9 and praying that all will be good and I will get to stick around here with all you lovely ladies.
Hello and congrats to all you ladies! I started lurking earlier this week and was planning to wait to post, but I'm too eager to do that.
I'm a STM mom from Indiana. DH and I have an awesome 13-month-old daughter. I took a test on Monday and got a negative result. After some encouragement from my other BMB mamas, I took another on Wednesday evening and saw a faint line. Another Thursday morning, and it was darker. EDD is September 11!
Looking forward to getting to know y'all and forming great friendships along the way.
Mama of two from MI. I’m pregnant with our third child. I’m 5w, 5d along. My EDD is 9/4. Congratulations to everyone and looking to this journey together!
Hello! My name is Megan and I’m a STM with a five and a half year old. Little one’s due date is 9/5 and we can’t wait! I still have friends from my Bump group five years ago, so I’m looking forward to getting to know the other mamas that share my due date month!
Congratulations everyone! I can’t begin to express how excited I am to join you ladies. I’m a STM with an amazing husband, a 2 year old DS, and two energetic Velcro dogs. I’ve been lurking TTGP since March and participating since this fall. Hoping for many, many TTGP grads to fill up our BMB.
I got my first squinter on Thursday at 9DPO. DH was leaving for a work trip and I wanted to test before he left. Still waiting on Friday’ blood work from the OB - my luteal phase has been irregular so they wanted to check out progesterone. I’m still in a bit of disbelief but just over the moon.
I was previously in the Dec 15 BMB which was epic and I still stay in touch with a few of those ladies daily. Can not wait to bring the science and gifs to this board.
Hi everyone, I am a FTM from Ontario, Canada. My EDD is Sept 6 according to my last period. I have my first doctors appointment on the 23rd. We got our BFP on Jan 2nd and I was really happy to find there is a group like this! Excited to get to know everyone!
Hi Ladies, I'm so pleased to be part of this group!
I'm a 32yo STM from Central Oregon, US. I have a 3yo N14 little girl, and am beyond excited to give her a little sister or brother. This is my third pregnancy, but will be our second little peanut, EDD is 9/13.
I look forward to riding out the next 8 months and beyond with all you ladies
Hey all! My name is Pamela and found out we were pregnant on 12/27! We are due 09/08. This is our first baby and was a complete surprise. But we both are very Excited! I'm 5wks and already having nausea and crazy fatigue. All I want to do is eat junk food!
Hi everyone! I'm cautiously introducing myself. I have an almost 5 year old daughter and this baby was quite a surprise. I have taken several tests that come out pretty faint but certainly there. I'm also already quite nauseous - I threw up every day from the 6 weeks last time (including while delivering). Nausea was was promoted me to test. TW - My first pregnancy was a miscarriage so I'm pretty cautious end TW. I believe my EDD will be mid September, but thats a guess at this point. I was a c-section mama the first time and probably will be again. I can't wait to get to know you all!
I’m 27, first time mom and 5 weeks along as of today! My H and I live in NYC but are looking to move to SoCal before baby arrives. First OB appointment is a week from Tuesday and I cannot wait!
Hello again! This is Megan again - I was able to switch my user name from the generic Knottie name the app gave me! Thanks for the assistance!
You have to log out and back into the bump for it to take effect.

Hello.. I just found out that me and my husband are expecting our first, after trying for almost a year. My EDD is 9/2. I had my first doctor's appt on 1/2 at a little over 5w. I have my second appt on the 23rd. We have started to tell family and close friends but won't make a public announcement until the middle of February. This is my first "moms" group.
I’m 28, married for 3 years, mother to a sweet 2 year old girl. We got a faint positive on 1/2 and a positive on a digital test 2 days later! I think I’m due around Sept. 12th! **TW- we had a mmc about 5 months ago, so I am having bloodwork done this week to make sure my numbers look good- end TW* Our ultrasound will be on January 29th! I loved being pregnant last time, so I’m excited to be on this journey with you all!
Hello all. Currently 6 weeks, due Sept. 3rd. This BFP came as quite a surprise...TW... we experienced a loss in October at 11 weeks....TW. Wishing everyone a healthy 9 months. This will be our third baby
Hi all! DH and I live in the DC area with our son and dog. DS turns 2 this month. I'm still pretty active on the Jan16 board and hoping I get to stick around here. Based on my lmp, my due date is Sept 7. I just realized it this past weekend though. This pregnancy was quite the surprise, so I was a little slow to think it might be possible. I'll be AMA this time around, so that and the fact that I wasn't on prenatals or eating all that great previously has me a really nervous. The fact that I have absolutely no symptoms is helping. At this point last time around I was miserablely sick. My Dr doesn't want to see me until 9 weeks, so I've got to wait til Feb 5 for my first sonogram. I forgot how stressful pregnancy is!
Hi! I'm in my early 30's and married to my husband for 6 years. I'm a SAHM to three children; 6, 3.5, and 2 years old. I tested positive this past Thursday and I'm estimating my due date to be September 7th but I'll know for certain next Monday at my first OB appt and dating ultrasound. I'm still a bit shocked and scared to be adding to our family. We have been waffling back and forth on whether to have a 4th but we're also very excited! Happy to read all the introductions and follow throughout our pregnancies!
(I still can’t belive I am here... doing this!). I got my BFP on Saturday 1/6 and based on my last MP estimating this baby is due around 9/15.
We have two precious boys (5 & 2) and pretty much thought our family was complete.. God has other plans my DH is over the moon and I just need to catch up to the idea. It isn’t another baby that has me unsure how I feel but it is the change in our family dynamic that I am afraid (kinda sad) to change. My boys are best buddies and I’m sure this little one will fit right in.
we will be team green.
Oh and I turn 36 on Thursday .. DH is 41.. so there is that. That is part of my mixed emotions I think.
Hi everyone! I am a FTM, EDD 09/06 according to last period but have first appt on Thursday. We found out on Christmas morning which was awesome, thanks to the amazingly sensitive Wondfos and a very very faint line!
I've had a previous miscarriage so very nervous but keeping positive.
I'm from Edmonton, Canada but living in Phoenix, AZ now and really looking forward to being a part of this group!
Hi ladies!! I found out just after Christmas that I'm expecting my second! I have a 4 year old DS and 2 stepkids- SS4 and SD 2. Due September 13. I was active back in November 13, and will try to be again this time, though it's much harder with 3 little ones!
I'm really over this snow and cold and can't wait for warmer weather!
Hello! Wanted to do a quick intro, third time mom with an N14 3 year old and J16 19 month old. This baby was quite the surprise, we weren’t planning on more...oops! Happy to be here with you guys though
@smsaulino you can create a ticker through the "Tools" option on the left-hand column of The Bump's homepage. Once you create that, it will give you a url to use. Copy that and put it into your signature- you can find that by selecting the little profile head icon in the top right-hand of your screen (next to the world, inbox and star icon) and then selecting "signature settings". Make sure to click the "</>" in the formatting row before you copy/paste the ticker url. To preview if it has worked, go back to any thread that you've commented and see if it's displayed properly in your post. I hope this all makes sense! It took me a couple days to figure it out but I got it now!
Hi All! I have been lurking for a week or so but thought I would introduce myself! This will be baby # 2 for me, due on 9/3. I have a 3.5 year old son and I live in Michigan with my husband. I found out very early I was pregnant because I was tracking to make sure I could drink while on vacation! Hahaha, sadly I could not but oh well! Thankfully I have had very few symptoms so far and I am hoping it will stay that way so I can continue to be active to keep the weight gain to a minimum. I look forward to getting to know everyone!
Introduce yourselves and let’s get to know each other!!
Hello all, this will be baby # 4 for me. I have 3 amazing daughters ages 12,8 and 3. My EDD is 9/2/18
Ugh, stuck in the box
Can you log in to The Knot and change your user name to something unique please? it'll make it much easier to remember who you are. You'll need to log out and back into the bump afterward for it to update.

Hello all! My name is Megan. I’m a stay at home mom to DD Feb16. I can’t belive I have an almost 2yo!!
DH and I had been trying for the past year for a 2nd baby. I’m 36 and am worried about the risks that may pose. I was just diagnosed with rhuematoid arthritis in August and have yet to see a specialist (which has been super annoying that they are so far booked out). But I have actually noticed that my arthritis hasn’t been as bad the last few weeks. I had read that symptoms can regress during pregnancy. Which is a major perk!
I just started back to school on the 1st. Got my faint positive on 1/4. I’m so very nervous but excited for my 1st appt next month on the 7th
Hi all! I’m Sarah! Military wife, photographer and mama to a 2.5 year old little boy. Currently doing life in Wichita, Ks. Just found out we’re expecting with an EDD of 9/15.
**TW** we experienced our first loss a couple months ago and it was traumatic and heartbreaking. I’m still trying to mentally recover and my anxiety and fears already feel thru the roof with this pregnancy because of everything. Reading how many other women are in my shoes is comforting. Makes me feel less alone with my feelings. Prayers for all **TW**
Excited to get to know everyone here a bit better. Congrats all!
