Hi Ladies! Im currently expecting baby #3. Even though we tried for this baby, it’s still hard to believe we’re having a third! I’m due 9/3 and am 8 weeks today. We found out just before Christmas and have been in disbelief since then. My son is going to be 4 in April and my daughter is 17.5 months. We will be team green this time since we’ve already got one of each. I’m so excited to be team green since we found out with our first two. I’m a SAHM and am struggling through each day of nausea and taking care of the kids. Here’s hoping the nausea goes away before it did with my other two. Happy to be here!
Hi all! I am a SAHM to two crazy little boys (3.5 years and 17 months). It is crazy that this will be our third! We are crossing our fingers for a baby girl this time but will be happy either way. I got a early BFP last week and based on LMP I am 4+4 today. My first appointment isn't for a couple more weeks so hoping this little one stays healthy.
@jenneebeegee That will be a sweet Valentine's Day. Hope everything goes well for you!
@knottie796c1b5c1b9e4c9c I understand how you feel. My first pregnancy was a total surprise, and DH and I had never wanted to have children. I wasn't excited at all the first few months. I didn't think I would be a good mom because I had never wanted children. Even after my son was born, I struggled with those moments of doubt and felt like I wasn't feeling the way a new mom was supposed to. But DS is almost 4 now, and I couldn't imagine life without him. Now I'm pregnant again (planned this time) and still have those moments of doubt if we made the right decision to have another one. I think it's just a natural part of being a mom and being human.
@knottie796c1b5c1b9e4c9c your feelings are completely normal. Everyone has different reactions to pregnancy and motherhood. My first pregnancy I couldn't have been more excited. Then after a hard delivery and complications on my part I had some very hard days. This time was a surprise and I'm back to struggling with how I feel at times. I'm excited and know a baby will be an incredible addition but I love my little family the way it is and the idea of our family structure changing is a scary and overwhelming thought sometimes.
Hello All! FTM here and I'm over the moon excited. We have been trying for over 2 years, so I am very excited, nervous, and freaking out at the same time. We found out on 01/05. I always expected that I would elaborately tell DH, but I couldn't contain my emotions and told him instantly. We went directly to the store and bought 4 more tests of various brands before rejoicing when they were all BFP!!! EDD is 09/12! I'm excited to share this experience with all of you.
@cmfoley86 - Congrats! I’m also a FTM. I’m also over the moon and also freaking out. I found out on 1/2 and I’m due 9/14. I also wanted to tell my husband in a cute way - but he guessed!!! Before I even said anything! He claims he knew for days.
Hello! STM here. It feels so strange saying STM now. Our first LO was just born in August, and here we are again with a surprise pair of pink lines. I’m not sure of the exact due date yet. I had only had 1 PP period and have just been testing monthly to confirm the BCP was working. I’m a little nervous this go around. I had a rocky pregnancy with eclampsia and an extended hospital stay last time, and I’m just not emotionally ready to go through that again. Here’s hoping we all have smooth and very uneventful / uncomplicated pregnancies!
Hello! STM here as well. DD is 4 and I was very active on the June 13 board during that pregnancy (and then I managed to lose all my account info over the years and now I'm having to start a new account ) I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you!
Anyway, based on LMP, my due date is 9/25. I go for my confirmation appt and dating ultrasound next Monday Nuasea and fatigue are hitting me hard.
Ummm...I'm 26 and live in WV. I knit...a lot...I'm having to try to hold back from knitting all the baby things until I finish up the project I'm on.
I'm also very excited about getting to babywear again. I've been itching to pull out the two wraps I still have
Hi! I'm Chelsea. I live in cody wy. 2nd time mom. Ds is almost 20 months. This pregnancy is kind of a surprise since I took two negative tests in the last two weeks. Both taken after my period was supposed to start. So I'm excited but kind of shocked. I think I'm due Sept 24. Look forward to getting to know you ladies!
Thank you everyone for your supportive comments about my doubts. It’s very reassuring to hear that it's all within the realms of normal and that other people are just as scared and doubtful. The media is terrible for brainwashing us into believing that every pregnant person is spending their whole time loved up and swooning for their unborn baby. I’ve no doubt that there are plenty who do just that, and that’s amazingly beautiful, but it just goes to show we’re all wired slightly differently to one another and that’s ok
Hello! I’m a little rusty at this so bear with me. I’m just over 5 weeks, EDD 9/24. I just wrote out a huge book of an intro but only the first paragraph posted... gonna come back and try again. Sorry!

Let’s try this again, so I’m 5w2d, edd 9/24, we started ttc in october. I have a 4yr old dd rainbow baby who has cystic fibrosis(doing very well currently). This will also be a rainbow baby. It is considered a high risk pregnancy as there is a 25% chance the baby will also have cf. DH and I thought long and hard before ttc and are prepared, so no judgement please.
I was previously semi active on DD’s bmb and now that I’m a sahm expect I’ll be move active here. I’m looking forward to connecting with you ladies!
I’m pretty rusty so bear w any mess-ups! 0:)

No judgement here, every baby is wonderful and if you end up with another CFer, it'll just mean that your daughter will feel less different from her friends. Glad to hear that she is doing well, my aunt had CF and TW loss of family lived until she was 30, likely could have been much longer as she stopped taking care of her lungs at about 18. End TW.
Congrats on your new sprout, and honestly 25% chance isn't terribly high anyway (though that's easy for me to say, it already hit you once.) Fingers crossed for an uneventful pregnancy!

Hello all, I'm a STM. My husband and I will be married 10 years this year. Our daughter is turning 5 and we are expecting a little squishy due 9/24/18. BFP last week 1/18. Appointment with US scheduled on Valentine's Day. I was on the Bump for my daughter, so I decided to log in again for this one.
Hello mom's! My husband and I just got married last December after being together for 5 and a half years. We have a four year old boy and have been trying for our second about three years and hard core trying (tracking cycles and ovulation) for 14 months only to find out this past Thursday 1/18 that we are pregnant with our second baby! I've never felt so blessed and the three of us are just so excited for this journey!! I'm 6 wks and 3 days
Hi, First-time pregnant, 38 years old, married, live in Washington DC, I work for the Federal Government on public housing finance/policy, and still getting used to the idea of being knocked up.
At at this age I assumed we would have to go the IVF or adoption route, but I got pregnant the first month of trying the old fashioned way. So although I’m an old mom, it still feels like it is all happening so fast.
Thanks @pourmeamocktail! I feel the same, dd has made comments like “I wish we were a cf family, but you and daddy don’t have cf so we aren’t”. So having a sibling with would mean a lot to her, then again, having a sibling w o would mean someone healthy and strong alongside her in ways we parents won’t be able to be. So I’ll be content either way. We have an amazing cf medical team here and research is nearing a cure and impressive life changing meds every day!

@knottie796c1b5c1b9e4c9c -- I'm an "older" FTM as well, and completely understand that "guilt" around having an easier time conceiving. Being that I waited until now, we thought we'd have more trouble... and I'm glad we didn't, but I feel guilty when I don't burst into tears at all baby commercials or want to broadcast my news to the whole world. We are excited... but it's hard to get TOO excited yet since it's still early. It's hard not to worry (I know all of us can relate to this)!
@hxtaru No registry yet, but starting on one now! I know The Bump has registry capabilities; is there a better option?
I know it does... I'm using Babylist at the moment. I like being able to go to other sites and add things... like etsy. I'm a lover of all things wooden and handmade, what can I say. I know Amazon and some others have that capability, too. I actually haven't tried out the Bump's yet. What do you think of it?
My partner and I haven't talked much about specifics with how to raise babies... but I'm no stranger to the actual baby part, even if it was a decade ago. I'm going very gender neutral and we decided to make sure our house is as free of tech as we can possibly make it-- at least from this century. I think the TV with hulu is the most forward thing we'll have, ha. (Besides my phone with the rad camera, because I IG food) I don't want my kids to look at a VHS or cassette and wonder wtf it is.
Maker, I rambled on! Sorry, it's just exciting. I'm sure you guys have tons of stuff to decide on, and you have plenty of time to do the research (if you haven't already!) I'm here at times but if you need advice or whatever, just let me know! (Wanderfries on IG)
Hi All! 35 in Charlotte NC STM with 2yr old boy. My calculations put me at 6w 3d. Excited for another baby & to get to know you all! First appt is Friday to confirm and get the dates
@wkuandrea I feel less guilty and more "oh shit, we have seven months to take on the trappings of responsible adulthood that we had successfully and gleefully alluded until now!"
@heyitserin That is awesome!! I’m always so grateful to see and know families/spouses who have chosen to embrace and journey with a cfer! It gives me great hope for my girl’s future!

Sooo here's a delayed intro since I just became allowed to post today. I am a FTM who just found out sat that I am pregnant! As of yesterday I am 5 weeks! So excited to go through this journey with you all!
Hi!!! My name is Melisa (pronounced Ma-leesa). I’m pregnant with my first little babe. I just turned 28 y/o today. My husband and I found out I was pregnant the day after Christmas ! My DD is 9/8. Our first US was last Thursday and I measured 6w5d. We thought I was at least 8 weeks because my LMP was 11/14, but my cycles are much longer- so that makes sense. I’m so excited to be apart of these groups and discussions!
Hi everyone! I’m Ashley, and I’m almost 8 weeks with my first pregnancy. Currently in the waiting room with H for my first appointment and sort of freaking out a little haha. I’ll add my info to the spreadsheet once I’m at a computer. EDD is 9/6, I’ll have just turned 36!
Hi everyone! FTM here- I’m 38 years old and single and finally made the decision last year to stop waiting for the right guy to come along and just start my family. My doc thought it would be quick, but it took a year and 5 failed iuis before I made the decision to move to ivf. I did pgs testing on the embryos before transferring one- my doc thought it would be a good idea because of my age. The added bonus of pgs is I got to know the sex ahead of time- so now I have a girl due 9/28! Praying this little lady sticks! I’m 4 weeks 5 days today- so far no symptoms- which makes me nervous, even though I know it’s early! I go in for my first ultrasound on feb 7. Looking forward to getting to know you all over the next 8 months!
Hey everyone FTM here just got the BFP on Monday. Super Duoer excited for this journey my boyfriend is excited as well. I’m 25 and so is he. My EDD would be Sept 30 so FX it stays that day lol.
Just stumbled on this group while on the app! I am a full time working mama with an almost 2 year old little girl. I found out in Disneyland on December 27th I was pregnant with baby number two. Had my first ultrasound and ob appt. Due 9/1.
Hey Mamas! I'm a STM with a 13 month old little boy at home. I just found out and had blood work yesterday and will confirm EDD next week but likely Sept 4-12. I'm a little nervous about having 2u2. We didn't expect to get pregnant this fast again but it's all good! Excited to be on this adventure with everyone!
cnewt01! I love your story -- I had almost the same journey, but life intervened in my single motherhood plan at 36 and sent me a free sperm donor in the form of my husband I'm also 38 and a first-timer -- not really much of a prayer, but I definitely am for both of our little persons to stick!!
Hello mamas! I'm a SAHM with a 3y boy and 15m old girl. I just got my BFP last night (+ about 7 more BFP's since) so it looks like I'm in it for round 3 -- somebody hold me! This was a very happy surprise! We knew #3 was going to happen, but we weren't actively trying. On a whim I tested because I was late and here we are. I love gifs, puns, tacos, queso, brownies, iced coffee and red wine ( ).
Sending all the positive thoughts and sticky vibes for y'all!!

Hi I’m a STM, I have an 18 month old son. I am a SAHM/WAHM. Still pretty early for me, my EDD is September 28. My ultrasound/appts aren’t until the end of Feb so I’m over here working on my patience
