Re: Introductions
TW: I’ve had 2 early miscarriages, one before my 2.5 year old daughter was born and one that resulted in a D&C this past August. I’ve been working hard on learning to trust my body again and feel surprisingly calm about this pregnancy! End TW
I am so happy to hear such amazing stories and hope that we’ll have (mostly) enjoyable pregnancies together. I’ve been experiencing ALOT of nausea and super sore breasts. Though part of me loves these feelings as they remind me of the immense changes my body is going through. I am a music therapist (part time) and stay at home mom. Music helped me so much during my last pregnancy, labor and delivery. I did struggle after birth with postpartum depression and am hopeful that me and my husband having more knowledge and experience will help us navigate that in a healthier way if it comes up again.
My husband and I have been married over 5 years and just started really trying, after not preventing for a long time, in September. We are both very excited. And he is 100% nervous! I live in the Boston area, on the same street as my sister and her four kids (all under 5!) and cannot wait to have a LO so the cousins can play together.
Congratulations to everyone! I hope it is an easy, happy and healthy 9 months for all.
I'm 28 yrs old, been married for 5 years and have been with my DH since I was 12 years old. We have been trying for a baby for 2 years now. I was pregnant in Feb of 2017 but ended in a MMC, my little bean didn't have a heart beat at 6 weeks 1 day. I decided to trust my body and let it pass naturally. On my birthday and 10weeks in, it finally happened. It was a emotional and mental rollercoaster to say the least.
We have been trying again since and finally on new years eve got my BFP. It was light lines so I've been nervous but they have gotten a lot darker now. I'm scared, and have a lot of anxiety but super happy!
I'm from Oregon, but spend half the year in puerto vallarta mexico.
I wish everyone a Happy and Healthy 9 months!
FWIW, I was active on the bump before under a previous username (H4aPartyof5) in both TTGP and my D16 group before it migrated to FB. Glad to see some familiar 'faces' as well as to be here myself, and looking forward to getting to know you all.
Im an STM—my son turned 2 in September—and we tried for five months for #2 after three months of waiting to be cleared to try by my doctor (I have lupus) so I am SO happy to be here.
I got my BFP on 12/26 (the day I missed my period) and then took two more tests at home before calling the OBGYN because I couldn’t believe it. I had to do two betas because I found out so early but they both came back positive and the levels are multiplying well. My EDD is 9/4 and i have my first appointment for a dating ultrasound on 1/16. FX everything goes well!
BFP #1: 1/23/2012 DD: Born 9/20/2012
BFP #2: 12/30/2017 DS: Due 9/10/2018
Hi Ladies, FYI- My whole 2017 is a massive **TW**
I have changed my due date on The Bump 3 times in a year!! I have 2 living children ages 21 years old and 3.5. I’ve since had 3 losses in 1 year at 20 weeks, 9 weeks and 5 weeks. We then found a mass in my uterus that has been removed and assumed to be the cause of the losses due to poor implantation. Aye aye aye!!
We lost the 20 wk little girl on Jan 4th 2017 which is when I got my first BFP this go around. I’m under the care of an RE so I will start blood draws Monday and an ultrasound at 5 weeks.
I’m cautiously optimistic and am looking forward to STAYING on this board with ALL of you ladies for he next 9 months!!!
Cheers!
i am a STM. I have a 4 year old DD and have been trying for this LO for 3 long years. my EDD is 9/5.
TW after a CP in February and several failed IUIs we tried our hands at a round of IVF. It will be our only try as insurance doesn’t cover it. I am cautiously optimistic joining as betas have been rising slowly but improving. End TW
i have my first U/S on 1/9 and praying that all will be good and I will get to stick around here with all you lovely ladies.
*edited to add due date
I'm a STM mom from Indiana. DH and I have an awesome 13-month-old daughter.
I took a test on Monday and got a negative result. After some encouragement from my other BMB mamas, I took another on Wednesday evening and saw a faint line. Another Thursday morning, and it was darker.
EDD is September 11!
Looking forward to getting to know y'all and forming great friendships along the way.
Mama of two from MI. I’m pregnant with our third child. I’m 5w, 5d along. My EDD is 9/4. Congratulations to everyone and looking to this journey together!
BFP#1: 11/15/2010 * Missed M/C 12/28 * D&C 12/29/2010
BFP#5 12/26/2017 *SURPRISE* Due 09/02/2018
I got my first squinter on Thursday at 9DPO. DH was leaving for a work trip and I wanted to test before he left. Still waiting on Friday’ blood work from the OB - my luteal phase has been irregular so they wanted to check out progesterone. I’m still in a bit of disbelief but just over the moon.
I was previously in the Dec 15 BMB which was epic and I still stay in touch with a few of those ladies daily. Can not wait to bring the science and gifs to this board.
I'm a 32yo STM from Central Oregon, US. I have a 3yo N14 little girl, and am beyond excited to give her a little sister or brother. This is my third pregnancy, but will be our second little peanut, EDD is 9/13.
I look forward to riding out the next 8 months and beyond with all you ladies
I’m 27, first time mom and 5 weeks along as of today! My H and I live in NYC but are looking to move to SoCal before baby arrives. First OB appointment is a week from Tuesday and I cannot wait!

I’m 28, married for 3 years, mother to a sweet 2 year old girl. We got a faint positive on 1/2 and a positive on a digital test 2 days later! I think I’m due around Sept. 12th! **TW- we had a mmc about 5 months ago, so I am having bloodwork done this week to make sure my numbers look good- end TW* Our ultrasound will be on January 29th! I loved being pregnant last time, so I’m excited to be on this journey with you all!
DH and I live in the DC area with our son and dog. DS turns 2 this month. I'm still pretty active on the Jan16 board and hoping I get to stick around here.
Based on my lmp, my due date is Sept 7. I just realized it this past weekend though. This pregnancy was quite the surprise, so I was a little slow to think it might be possible. I'll be AMA this time around, so that and the fact that I wasn't on prenatals or eating all that great previously has me a really nervous. The fact that I have absolutely no symptoms is helping. At this point last time around I was miserablely sick.
My Dr doesn't want to see me until 9 weeks, so I've got to wait til Feb 5 for my first sonogram. I forgot how stressful pregnancy is!
I'm in my early 30's and married to my husband for 6 years.
I'm a SAHM to three children; 6, 3.5, and 2 years old.
I tested positive this past Thursday and I'm estimating my due date to be September 7th but I'll know for certain next Monday at my first OB appt and dating ultrasound.
I'm still a bit shocked and scared to be adding to our family. We have been waffling back and forth on whether to have a 4th but we're also very excited!
Happy to read all the introductions and follow throughout our pregnancies!
(I still can’t belive I am here... doing this!). I got my BFP on Saturday 1/6 and based on my last MP estimating this baby is due around 9/15.
We have two precious boys (5 & 2) and pretty much thought our family was complete.. God has other plans
we will be team green.
Oh and I turn 36 on Thursday .. DH is 41.. so there is that. That is part of my mixed emotions I think.
exvited to take this journey with you ladies!
I am 37 and hoping this is a sticky baby this time around.
I've had a previous miscarriage so very nervous but keeping positive.
I'm from Edmonton, Canada but living in Phoenix, AZ now and really looking forward to being a part of this group!
I'm really over this snow and cold and can't wait for warmer weather!
DH: 32

Team green turned BLUE!
2nd born at 38+6 on 8/30/18
Team green turned PINK!
Due with #3 on 6/6/20 Team Green
DH and I had been trying for the past year for a 2nd baby. I’m 36 and am worried about the risks that may pose. I was just diagnosed with rhuematoid arthritis in August and have yet to see a specialist (which has been super annoying that they are so far booked out). But I have actually noticed that my arthritis hasn’t been as bad the last few weeks. I had read that symptoms can regress during pregnancy. Which is a major perk!
I just started back to school on the 1st. Got my faint positive on 1/4. I’m so very nervous but excited for my 1st appt next month on the 7th
**TW** we experienced our first loss a couple months ago and it was traumatic and heartbreaking. I’m still trying to mentally recover and my anxiety and fears already feel thru the roof with this pregnancy because of everything. Reading how many other women are in my shoes is comforting. Makes me feel less alone with my feelings. Prayers for all **TW**
Excited to get to know everyone here a bit better. Congrats all!
