Hi, I'm Jess. I'm a kindergarten teacher and got married to my lovely hubs in August. First-time mommy here, due July 9, so I'm 12 weeks 5 days. We are really excited to start a family!
I was browsing the high-risk threads. Wondering if that would be a good place to talk about NT appointments/results, I couldn't tell if it was more for high-risk mommies or babies or both. We just got the news that my bloodwork came back as high risk for Down Syndrome, though I'm 25, they said that my risk is that of a 42 year old. Trying to remain positive, but we're feeling a lot of anxiety just waiting for the next appointment and waiting some more for results. Plus, just being a first-timer has me nervous and excited and anxious.
@julybabybear hi, welcome! I'm so sorry to hear you got worrisome news! That's so stressful. Hang in there, and I'll be praying for good news. Feel free to jump in where you want! I don't think we have a thread for moms experiencing risk yet, but we're a very supportive community and you're welcome to share/vent with us!
Hello everyone. I'm Stacey, I married my husband this October and we got our BFP on November 20th. I'm 10 weeks and 6 days today, EDD July 24th. This is my first pregnancy and we have an appointment this Thursday to hear our babys' heartbeat for the first time.
We are extremely excited, but until after the first ultrasound I think I'll be a ball of nerves. I'm so excited to be able to connect with other moms to be.
Hello! I’m a second time mom and expecting my lovey on July 3rd according to my ultrasound. July 5th was my original date according to my LMP. I’m a student studying in the field of Geology. I either want to become an Astrobiologist or a Paleontologist. I’m really excited for this pregnancy and hoping for a girl this time. I already have the sweetest two year old boy. I’m in my second trimester and it feels like heaven compared to my first. I had the most unpleasant morning sickness during the first trimester. This was a shock to me because I never had these symptoms with my first. However, now that my nausea is almost gone, I feel I can eat again! Eating is life! Anyways, I hope we all have a joyous pregnancy with very little to no complications. I look forward to chatting and getting to know you all.
Hi everyone, this is my first pregnancy and we are at week 12 and 6 days. We’ve heard the heart beat which was by far the most exciting part of being pregnant so far! I’ll be 35 when the baby is born and my hubby will be 29. We are beyond excited to welcome this little one into the world around July 11 2018. Baby is half Danish and half American. ♥️
Hi! I'm Elisabeth. I'm 10w1d along. I didn't want to post until now because I had some brown discharge (irritable cervix, I think?) up until about 8 weeks. I've had 2 ultrasounds and seen a beautiful little nug with a heartbeat so I've decided to trust my body and post. When I'm not obsessing over my symptoms (ha) I'm a lawyer. Husband is a business type. We're doing a long distance marriage until I'm 28 weeks which is no fun. I haven't announced and don't plan to until about 14-16 weeks, so I have no one to talk to! Hopefully this board is helpful for that.
Hello! My name is Kendra. My husband and I are expecting our first child. I work in administration at a local bank and my husband works for my dad. We are incredibly excited but anxious and overwhelmed at the same time!
Thank you #@jessicajordan. I noticed on the spreadsheet there are 4 or 5 of us with the same due date, which is too cool (thought for a little while I was 1 of few with an end of the month due date).
Although fleeting (apparently I have a jumping bean), the heart beat was a strong 160 bpm.

Hi, my name is Sam! I am 13 weeks 4 days. We just found out today that our twins are Momo Twins. My husband and I are very nervous but hopefull! Babies are healthy right now and moving like crazy! Almost looked like they were already fighting. My husband and I own a bar in the Milwaukee Wisconsin area. With Momo Twins I will have to take off a lot more time and this is making me nervous as I work the busiest nights. We are looking to sell the place though as it is not a business we want to be in with a growing family. So happy to be in these forums! I love the organization and also the rules! (I hate Ramzi!)
Hi everyone. I am 11 weeks, 2 days today! Expecting our second child (first child is a 13 year old daughter!). Yes. We are starting allllll over again. We tried for years, then gave up. Got a major hurricane that devastated our area this year and my sister in law got pregnant right afterwards (with her second as well). I ended up pregnant about 8 weeks behind her! We are super excited.
Hey everyone- I’m late to post because honestly it took me so long how to get on this board from the bump app. Then I needed to remember my account info. I’m from Canada expecting my third child on July 28. I found the bump super helpful with my first (aug 2012) and joined a Facebook group where I still chat with the girls almost daily. I am struggling with anxiety and off my meds. Reading the mental health post from the 28 calmed me down a bit. I think those posts are really going to help me. Looking forward to meeting all of you.
Hello all, I am a little late with my introduction, however, I received my BFP on 10/30/2017. I am 28 years old (29 on February 17th), and this is my second baby. My first is a 8 year old little girl, and she is excited to become a big sister! This bean is due July 4th and if the baby comes on time, he or she will share a birthday with the father!

How funny. My baby’s father has a July 4th birthday as well. Our due date is July 2nd and he was hoping our baby would be born on his birthday but we just got news that I’ll be delivering no later than 39 weeks. So we are technically having a June baby
Hi Ladies! STM from New Jersey. My husband and I have a two year old little boy. My due date is around 7/9. Fingers crossed no induction this time! Last time I was induced for gestational hypertension which led to 40 hours of labor. Ugh! Luckily babies are worth it!!
Hi, all! I'm a little late to the party as well. I'm Sara, 34 (will be 35 at the time of delivery), and from NJ, too. I'm a FTM, so I was a little nervous about announcing to the world until the second trimester started (which is today!). I'm from NJ and am due 7/11. I'm a medical editor in pharma advertising, and my husband is an electrical engineer. I had my first trimester screening today (it was supposed to happen last Thursday, but there was a snowstorm and my doctor's office was closed). We found out we are having a girl (had NIPS testing done), and she is healthy so far. We plan on telling our immediate families this weekend.
31yr old FTM in Chicago here just getting know the acronyms. EDD 7/14 so currently 13 weeks 5 days in and maternity21 test indicated we’re having a boy! I felt pretty lucky the first trimester had no real morning sickness, but I was very tired and STARVING. I’ve gained almost 15lbs thus far so I am getting a little concerned about the weight gain. Hoping for some energy to start working out more in the 2nd tri. Gotta stay healthy for this little dude!
Hello all! I am 12 weeks and this will be my second little one, my son turns 3 at the end of this month. I am due July 22 and looking forward to having a summer baby! Especially because my son was born in the middle of a polar vortex and the longest winter! My husband and I are in our early 30’s and moved back to CA this past year after living in PA for almost a decade. Looking forward to being a part of this community!
Hello there! I'm about 13 weeks pregnant, due On July 20th. My fiance is in his late 20s and I'm in my mid 20s, this is both of ours first child. We just recently moved from Colorado to Nevada, though originally we were born on complete opposite sides of the country (him in California, me in Massachusetts!). It's tough because we have no family or friends here, but we are both very excited. I'm still getting to know all of the acronyms for things so please be patient with me! I am excited to get to know other moms due around the same time!!!
@supersara2 I'm also 34 and will be 35 in June before baby comes, I'm due 7/7 with a boy! Welcome to everyone new to the board! @watermelon1212 I'm also in CA (OC) like @zombiehoohaa.
Hi everyone. I’m Jess and I am a first time mom expecting after a miscarriage in September. I am 12 weeks and 5 days today with a due date of July 24th. I have a bicornuate uterus meaning my pregnancy is a bit high risk and have already seen a MFM and will see her every 2 weeks after 16 weeks. Fingers crossed my little bun stays in the oven for as long as he/she possibly can! Anyone else have uterus abnormalities?
Hi everyone! My name is Haley and my hubby and I have been together for 5 years (married for 6 months). I have a beautiful, delightful 7 year old bonus daughter. This is my first pregnancy and EDD is July 30th (shortly after we celebrate one year of marriage). Excited to get to know all of you!
Hello there! My name is Sarah Wolicki. I'm a part-time Producer and Writer at a Newsradio station here in Detroit, Michigan. My DH, Alex, is an Accountant and working towards his CPA (trying to do it before baby...)
We'll be first time parents -- and man has it been quite the journey through our fertility struggle. We've been trying since August 2015, two months after we got married.
We're very excited for baby "Salex" to arrive on or around July 25th!
Hi everyone! I've been a member of the Bump for a while, but I don't think I've ever been really active here. I plan to lurk a little and see if I can get used to the format before I jump in. I'm pregnant with my 11th and due July 16. I'm 41, and actually having a baby in my 40s wasn't in my plans. I was done at 10. But we are overjoyed with the unexpected surprise, and even more so now that morning sickness has mostly passed. My name is Steph.
Hello everyone! I'm Danielle, I'm from Arkansas. I've been married for 2 years to my DH! I'm working towards becoming a RN. I'm pregnant with our first!! EDD is July 21st! Which is really cool because my birthday is July 5th! So excited to get to know all you wonderful ladies!
@sporada welcome! I like your choice of baby name. My husband and I had chosen "Salix" for ours at one point, which is the latin name for the willow tree genus. I have never heard of anyone else with that name before!
Hi! I’m Deena. FTM in San Francisco. My husband and I have been married a little over 2 years and we are obsessed with our dog Trixie. I’m due July 20th- having a little boy! I’m 13+6 and this is finally starting to feel like it’s really happening.
@unicorncandycanes I just had to add....my birthday is July 5th as well! My due date is July 4th so I might have an extra special birthday present this year!
