Announcing Iree Dianne & Luke Roy Born Nov 6, 2017 Iree: 18" long, 6lbs 3oz Luke: 18" long, 5lbs 5oz
Labor story: 36+1, woke up with contractions at 4am, 5min apart. I monitored at home for a couple hours and called my OB office at 6am. Took a warm shower, as my OB suggested, and the contractions didn't change. Came into L&D about 7am and was monitored for an hour. Cervix change was small (.5 cm), but since I was considered full term with twins, they went ahead and booked the OR. Within a couple hours we were back there getting a c- section (Baby B was breech). Iree was born first at 10:11am, she had slight respiratory issues, so she stayed in the nursery for monitoring for about 6 hours. Luke was born right after at 10:12am and was diagnosed with pneumothorax, and taken straight to NICU. Baby Iree came back from the nursery around 4pm yesterday and has been with me since. Baby Luke is still in NICU and we're praying for swift healing, I haven't even been able to hold him yet. As for me, I'm recovering just fine. The pitocin and uterus "massages" after surgery have been by far the worst part.
Please keep baby Luke in your prayers if that's your thing (sorry for huge pictures - mobile)
guys, not to be debbie downer, but this thread will get CRAZY LONG if we all congratulate each other within. let's please contain our excitement (and/or post it in another thread, or in a PM to each lucky new mom) so that this thread remains reserved for birth announcements only

I’ve been lurking more than posting this last tri but I wanted to announce the birth of our rainbow, my daughter Arya Faith. She was 35w6d and weighed 5lbs12oz. I’m struggling with a traumatic birth and csection recovery but I’m head over heels in love with her. She’s graduated from NICU and with the exception of feeding issues, she’s doing great.

STOP AND READ THE BOX!! You can “love” the posts, but please refrain from congratulating everyone in this particular thread. I love that we all want to be supportive, but this will easily turn into 30+ pages in a matter of days. Post your congrats in the “Randoms” thread or the “Birth Stories” thread.
Hi all, just wanted to post that my and DH's daughter, Claire Lynne, was born on November 13 at 35w4d. After having my water break and dilating a full 10 centimeters, our little lady changed position mid pushing and was presenting sunny side up with her chin tilted back. Approximately 1 in 4000 chance according to my doctor. We went forward with the C-Section and Claire was born weighing 6lbs, 9oz and 18.5 inches long. I'm pretty sure I was at least a week ahead of what my doctor had set as my due date. Other than some low blood sugar, which was resolved in the hospital, she is healthy and happy and we are in love.
Wishing you all healthy and happy babies and speedy recoveries!
Alexander Elliott was born 11:47am 17 Nov, 2017 at 5 lbs 13oz. Both his and my sugars and my BP stabilized after birth (yay!) and we're recovering slowly. He's jaundiced and has spent the last two days under bilirubin lamps but we're hopeful he'll turn the corner tomorrow. We were a c section after a rough induction so I'm very grateful for the progress we've both made so far and our amazing medical support. We'll get some pictures to share once the bili lights are a thing of the past.
Bragging rights: According to the nurse's station, I hold this week's laps record for c section moms getting up and walking -- all that GD-mandated exercise is paying off.
Hi ladies! Sorry for the late response, but I haven't been feeling well. On Friday, my ultrasound showed that both babies had elevated cord blood flows so they decided that I needed a C-section this past Saturday (at 36 weeks). On arrival, I showed signs of pre-eclampsia so they started treatment for that. We welcomed Baby A (girl, ) and Baby B (boy) that morning. Baby girl had to go to the NICU due to her low birth weight, but both babies are now doing great. Baby girl is still in the NICU, but she's off of all support and just being monitored and continuing to learn to breathe, eat and swallow. My blood pressure is still going haywire so we're all still in the hospital. These are our first babies and we are just so in love! Thank you, ladies so much for your support and help! I hope I have been half as helpful as you guys have been to me.
Cannon James Mason was born this morning around 7:30am via RCS. He is a very healthy boy at 9lbs.2oz. and 21 inches long. We are both doing great. His three big sisters will be visiting in a few hours to meet him. DH and I are enjoying every single one of these baby cuddles and we are absolutely in love.
Riley Marie was born November 20th at 2:20 pm. She was born via a planned C-section at 38 weeks due to breech presentation and gestational hypertension. Riley weighed in at 7 lbs 2 oz and was 19 inches long. She's perfect and we love her so much! Sorry for the late posting! We got to go home on Thanksgiving yesterday! By far my most thankful Thanksgiving yet! This pic is of her in her going home Thanksgiving outfit
Iris Lynn born on 11/25/17 at 12:50am by csection. I Was induced and labored for 26 hours and after being stuck at 6 cm for almost 7 Of those hours we decided section was best. Theybhad to use the vacuum to get her out as well but she handled it like a trooper. She was 6lbs 3oz and 20 inches long.
Team Green turned Team Blue November 23rd. Baby Ethan Jeffrey was born via csection at 11:46am. Weighing 6lbs11oz and 19.75 inches. He’s so tiny and perfect. Our rainbow baby after a stillbirth and missed miscarriage in 2016. Our family is now complete.
The twins were born Nov 6th at 34+1 weeks after a two week stay in the hospital for me after being diagnosed with gestational hypertension. Scary to see your blood pressure jump to 210/107. Chase Alexander was 3lb. 15 oz. Victoria Lynne was 5 lb 4 oz. They spent some time in the NICU before transitioning to the special care nursery. We got to go home on the 26th. Loving every minute of this.
Hi all! I know I kind of went to extreme lurker mode halfway through this pregnancy but I still wanted to share our bundle of joy with you all. Micah Raymond was born 11/28/17 at 4:17 pm after a grueling 27 hour labor 8.2lbs and 21” long!
Montgomery Allen was born 11/27 at 1659 weight 8 pounds 5 ounces at 20 1/2 inches long. I will share our birth story in the birth story board. (I'm not tech savvy enough to add pics, )
My water broke at 36 + 4 weeks and our son was delivered on Nov 29. Since he is preterm his blood sugar is being monitored and we hope to go home with him tomorrow.
Sorry for the lateness of the post but I am pleased to say that Victor Eugene White was born 11.29.17 @ 39 weeks 2 days via scheduled induction which turned into an emergency c section after 28 hours of torture. He was 7lbs 4oz, 21 inches long, and absolutely perfect. We are head over heals in love.
Lindsey Jordan made her arrival VERY quickly yesterday afternoon at 5:15pm, Dec 6th. She weighed in at 8lb 7oz, 20in long. We just had our first successful latch (using a nipple shield. Mamas!! Do not be afraid to ask for one!!) and she is currently snoring away on my chest.
Connor Liam born 12/7 at 8:25pm 8lbs 11oz was brought in Wednesday morning for a nst and blood work had high BP they started me on a cervix softening meds that afternoon and Thursday morning started oxytocin.
