Re: Introductions!
I'm Melanie, 27, also from Oregon (I saw some Portlanders in the group). I just got married in September and we conceived just barely 3 weeka later! This is our first and we are very excited. My EDD is July 7. We have our first prenatal visit in a couple weeks! Excited for that ultrasound.
Anyway, nice to meet you all. I'm looking forward to having a community to share with.
I’m due with #2 sometime...probably July 29th-ish. We’ve been TTC for about 18 months, and I spent the summer on medicated cycles with an RE. We’d decided to take a break from that for the fall and start IUIs after the holidays but there’s no need for that now and we are thrilled! However, I have not even the littlest idea when I ovulated since I quit tracking for a mental break and didn’t test until CD 33. LMP will put me at July 29th, but could be up to a week or so later I guess. We’ll find out at that first appointment in a couple of weeks!
Anyway, I have a 2.5yo DD and was moderately active on the June 15 board until the big to do when everyone left. I’m still in touch with a few, but don’t post daily with them anymore. SAHM, enjoy biking and yoga, reality TV fan, and Christmas movie obsessed.
So, that’s me! Looking forward to getting to know everyone!
ETA, oh god...I swear I tried to change my display name...will try again --crisis averted!
My EDD is July 31 so depending on our first ultrasound I may be switching over to the August bmb. Excited to get to know everyone!
1) How not to be a bear when I'm uncomfortable all the time and
2) How to get some sleep!
Thanks for any help you can give! And I can't wait to meet everyone!
EDD July 30th Looking forward to getting to know you all!
Also, I'd recommend changing your user name so people can tag you more easily and begin to recognize you when you post
Edited for words, cause they're hard.
I have my first OB apt on 12/6 with a new doctor or midwife (mine left the practice a few months ago).
My husband is a Mechanical Engineer and I am a Project Mgmt and Planning Operations Rep. We both work at Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company and live in Colorado.
So excited to be part of this community!

Im technically in the June BMB, but it’s so late in the month that just a day overdue and I’ll have a July delivery. Not so secretly, that’s what I’m hoping for
I’m a FTM and a fertile ho, DH and I got pregnant on our wedding night. So we’ve got nine months to be newly weds and I’m spending the first 3 months so far feeling hella nauseous.
I’ll mostly lurk, but figured introducing myself would be less creepy ;P
Congrats to all, let’s have some babies!
If anyone has tips on being patient with my toddler while being super nauseous, I’ll take it!
Excited to be here.. :-)
I'm super excited to share this journey together! I have absolutely loved reading all of your intros and updates. Congrats to all!
I am from NJ and work as a mechanical engineer. This is my first pregnancy.
