@GoogleMD Yes that’s what I meant, I always switch the two! Our main issue has just been the verification of income since we have lots of random sources of income that are not consistent, so I guess we are just dumb and can’t communicate that correctly with the verification forms they give us. We thought we did it right last time but apparently we didn’t so now we’re in the middle of reapplying for the third time (I honestly don’t remember what we did wrong the first time, ugh). If we could just sit down in front of an actual person and go through everything and get the definite correct info filed it would help but it’s just a disjointed process and we somehow are failing at following it. I don’t even know if we’re actually within the income threshold anyways and no one can seem to tell us that, so we might be doing all of this for nothing anyways!
Also I Bump on mobile so I have no idea where the PM inbox is anymore! I used to be able to find it but can’t now
The income limit for a family of 3 is around $3500 a month (gross). You can also apply for presumptive eligibility for pregnant women (pepw) it will give you temporary insurance until your Medicaid app is approved. You can apply in person at your local DFR. I am assuming you are working withb1 of the 2 Children’s hospitals, they often have navigators through their financial decision that can help.
@meatballs37 I’m so sorry about your loss. I can’t imagine the heartache.
@clc515 Thank you for asking your question! I hadn't thought of half of these things, let alone even taking a tour of the hospital. Looked into it this morning and DH and I are picking a date to go tonight!
Just seeing the update. So heartbroken for you and your family @meatballs37. I don't know what to say except my thoughts and prayers are with your family.
Updated- Just read the latest blog post and I am crying at my desk. So many prayers for strength for you and Baby A @meatballs37

Hi all, I'm returning to the board after a hiatus. I was dealing with a lot of anxiety and I had a hard time reading/engaging with pregnancy related things. I've received mental health help and am doing much better now, just getting caught up on what everyone has been up to!
My heart goes out to @meatballs37. Thoughts and prayers are with your family.
I took a 'long weekend' break from my computer and now it seems that I missed quite a bit. Playing catchup has been a little heartbreaking. I just took a moment to check out the link for @meatballs37 blog and it absolutely breaks my hard to read about what her family is experiencing. I feel so sad for her and I truly don't even know what can be said other than my thoughts and prayers are also with her family. After reading that post... I just don't even know what to say at the moment. I'm speechless and heartbroken that anyone has to experience what their family is going through.
@meatballs37 I just read the blog update and I can't even imagine what you're going through. Much love to you and your family. Please let us know if you need anything at all.

So very, very sorry for your loss @meatballs37. Even though we've never met you, I know everyone in this community is keeping you in our thoughts and prayers. God bless your Baby Boy B, and prayers for a healthy Baby A.
@the_other_mother it may vary by hospital. I've delivered at 3 different hospitals and they all administered an iv first thing.
@winnie1122 go into your county social services building. Bring your last year's tax return (because of self employment) and the last 2 current paystubs if either of you have those, and if you have w2 income last year you no longer have proof of termination, with copies of dl, and ss cards, and proof of pregnancy, and someone will help you. You will also need a copy of your mortgage statement or lease.
Ugh my heart is breaking. Just taking the time to catch up as I worked 12 hr days yesterday.... prayers a good vibes to you and your family in this hard time @meatballs37. Sending you a big hug mama!!
I'm sorry I can't find an update on @nightnurse92. I hope you are doing okay. Thinking of you!
the most recent post dedicated to our mamas made me cry. I might not participate as often as I like to but knowing I have you incredible ladies makes me feel fortunate.
