@suchaglencoco I am starting to notice it with my golden retriever too. He's always by my side, and it is slightly annoying. Let me have some space dude.
@suchaglencoco one of my dogs is the same!! With DS she was like scared of me for a bit... knowing but not knowing what was going on. This time she is a pro and all up in my business
Yes, I'd love some space! I love my kids, but they're all over me all day. I love my dog, but now she's all over me when they're not. Last time she backed off when I had the twins until I took some pills to try and help me with breastfeeding and I oozed maple syrup. Then she didn't leave my side again until I stopped taking the meds and dried up.
They say boys take your energy and girls take your beauty.... so at this point I'm going with boy. I feel so wiped out. I just hope I don't look like the hot mess I feel like I am lately.
Married DH : 7/7/12; 3 fur babies (2 dogs and 1 cat) DS born 9/3/13; DD born 7/22/15; LO due 5/28/18 FS (age 5) and FD (age 2) to become AS/AD very soon!
Seriously, you do. Dogs are the best, especially if they're great with kids. Ours don't necessarily love all the attention our twins give them, but they love them and let them do almost anything to them. Our DD loves to run up and randomly give them hugs and kisses and it's the sweetest thing in the world to watch.
I'm still early (5 weeks) so no nausea but I've been crampy for the last day and a half. I think it's just gas, and probably my early-pregnancy hyper-awareness, but I don't remember being this crampy last time. Tiny bit worried.
@christycalifornia I'm 5w6d and have been crampy the entire time (on and off). I didn't have this with my last pregnancy so I'm paranoid. But I've read it's not abnormal to experience this at this stage. I also think gas/constipation could be partly to blame! Hang in there!

One of the first things to happen that made me think I was pregnant was that our cat started sleeping with me again. He normally roams around the house at night but for the last month he's been purring by my side all night. It's cute at first but then I'm like.. give me some damn space! I don't think my dogs have figured it out yet. The lab eventually will but my little dog thinks the world revolves around him and is oblivious to anything else around him.
My only symptom now other than a snuggly cat is the exhaustion. So, so exhausted.
@mommabmb that was my feeling with my first and she's all girl! This time I'm exhausted too.
I honestly don't mind boy or girl, but a girl would make the sleeping situation in our house much easier, LOL- so I'll admit I was a little annoyed I was having some good hair days this pregnancy. With my daughter, she sucked out all of my vitamins- so GLAD TO KNOW IT ISN'T TRUE!!!!!

Okay trying this again.... I can smell eveything.... like an ants fart from down the hall and I'm a nurse on an inpatient unit this is perhaps the worst thing ever. Second I have no tolerance for anything and I bitched out the hospitalist for being lazy when I normally would have been more respectful. Also I'm missing brain connections. I think they left me to go to the bar.
my nausea has let up a lot but the gas and bloating are too much. I have not found any maternity pants for my short stature yet. Maybe I should just get some moo moos
@justsuzie I basically have night shirt muumuus... I got them from my 3 year old nephew last Christmas, he or his mom must think I'm very large because I'm swimming in them, but they are comfortable so I can't really complain.
@kpc914 sorry for your lost! It is ok to grieve, I got pregnant surprisingly the month after loosing my Mom from Pancreatic Cancer, I don't think I stopped crying my whole pregnancy. Baby was fine and I enjoyed him so much once he was born, God took away an angel that needed to rest and watch over us and sent me another
TMI but I just had a bowel movement and when I got up there was blood with clots in the bowl, when I went to wipe there was nothing there so I'm not sure where it came from but I have been cramping a lot. I'm sure it's just a one off thing but my PGAL brain is going a bit cray
@CraftyG That happens to me every now and then. TMI Was the poop covered in stringy bloody? Just means it was having trouble passing through. This usually happens when I eat something that really doesn't agree with me.

You should probably call your doctor...
I have to agree. Even if it is just bloody stool, they can do a rectal exam and tell you if you have a fissure or something.

Every day I wake up without symptoms I'm worried something is terribly wrong... got my scan moved up a week. Just have to make it to oct 6, then I think I could breathe a little better! Ugh! I've never WANTED to be sick before...
@Ceridwen77 bottle of ginger ale in the freezer for about 45 min to an hour depending on how full it is and it gets slushie! Be careful opening it cause it'll explode..just open it slowly and over the sink lol they also make things that you freeze then add any kind of drink to and it freezes it for you in a couple minutes

hollieileen Symptoms are no indication of how well a pregnancy is doing. I only had a week of MS and not really any sore boobs. My baby is beating away at 170 (9 weeks). Enjoy symptom free living, and hoe it doesn't hit you later!!!
@ivyvines6, that chart needs to be framed in my bedroom. I wake up with all of this desire to get a lot accomplished and end up doing the minimum. I even let the kids watch TV so I can shower before their nap so I can attempt to nap as well.
Is anyone else suffering from the stuffy nose? I have summer allergies so I was half stuffed up all summer and stopped taking my meds before we found out we were ku. Now the stuffy nose is back and it's making the little sleep I get even worse.
According to my app, I'm 5 weeks tomorrow. I am sometimes crampy, tired, my boobs hurt SO BAD, and I think twice now I've had a little nausea. Overall tolerable. I'll start wearing a sports bra to bed, maybe that'll help.
Has anyone used Seabands for nausea? I used them with DS at night and found them to be helpful. Thought I'd share that if anyone wants to try.
@codik86, it's bras 24/7 for me. I've even contemplated wearing one in the shower on my bad days. If I were cleared for sex I'd wear it then too and DH would just have to deal.

Stuffy nose sufferer here too. I use breath right strips and they help a ton.

@lscal20 That sounds freakin amazing!
@CraftyG But yes, agree, if this is the first time it has ever happened call general doctor. I was put on a special diet afterwards.
