The last two nights I've woken up to pee at 1am and then cannot fall back asleep. So frustrating since all I think about all day is, when can I sleep? Oh and I have a cold now, so that's an awesome cherry on all this
@Pearlvirus oh no I hope you feel better! Pregnant colds are the worst!
I fell asleep on the couch form like 8-9pm last night and once I went up to bed I was wide awake until midnight, googling answers to all the random questions I've ever had. Why does my brain hate me so much??
Sorry I haven't posted much but feel this is the best place to complain. (Sorry feel free to scroll through) I just feel like shit. I want to sit in my sweats and watch tv all day with a bucket next to me so I can just dry heave/occasionally throw up. I am already tired of having to be polite about just gagging and coughing up stomach acid all day. I am a STM and with my first I was so sick I lost 30 pounds had to go for weekly weight checks until I stopped losing weight. That was with zofran and Diclegis. I had to drink those horrible nasty nutritional shakes and was nauseous all but weeks 20-26. I love my DS deeply and know this is a part of life and some women just experience the hormone shift more intensely than others, but I still feel like shit. It took me an hour to manage to eat half a bowl of oatmeal. I feel hungry but when I eat I just immediately want to vomit. And the smell of food, oh my. It's so overwhelming to just smell food. Any food. Except honey crisp apples. They are the only thing that don't make me want to throw up. But all the extra fiber is making me need the bathroom for ah hem, other reasons. I was just really really hoping this time would be just a hair better than the with my DS, but so far it's a little bit worse. Anyway, thanks for a venting space. Good luck with the rest of the first trimester everyone! Hope the second term is better for everyone!!
Some good news- first round of HCG levels came back high enough that my dr doesn't want to do another blood draw- she does want an ultrasound though so I have an apt at 8 pm (!!!) tonight. Didn't even know places did things that late. We just recently moved and have very few friends here so have to take DD with us. Not too excited about it, but I'm not going alone so ya gotta do what you gotta do.
@nikky8 add me to the no nausea group! I do have other symptoms like bloating, sore boobs, fatigue, etc. I've had a few days where food didn't sound good but I was starving, but that has passed for now.

@theletlers right there with you. Husband called me a "walking corpse," but that is exactly how I feel. Dr. just sent in an Rx for me. fingers crossed it helps. 9 weeks and I am down 12lbs... here's to hoping this eases up for you more than your first pregnancy!
P. S. Goulet Bum thyroid over here, too. What was your TSH last time you tested? Mine was 3.5. I don't test again for a week and a half and I'm nervous about it. I couldn't for the life of me remember if I took my levo yesterday morning. I was pretty sure I did, but that little bit of worry freaked me out. I literally had to count pills and look up when I got the prescription filled from my last two bottles to figure out that I most likely did take it. I'm seriously crazy.
I experienced a gagging feeling for the first time yesterday. It was my extent of nausea for DS's pregnancy, so I was glad to get it as it is reassuring for me. Not really feeling it today, but I know symptoms can come and go, so trying to stay positive.
Today hasn't been the greatest. My nausea isn't that bad but my boobs feel like 5 lb weights despite barely being any bigger. I'm SUPER bloated today and it hurts! I look like I'm 4 months pregnant from the blast it is crazy. I've also started getting headaches the last few days and generally feel exhausted all the time. Wahhhh. Haha. I don't want to complain because I'm SO grateful to be pregnant but it's tiring! I'm so anxious to get to 12 weeks and hopefully feel a bit more confident in the pregnancy and feel better overall.
@babys_2018 Im 6 weeks and having the same issue. My boobs are huge and hurt so bad. I'm normally a 34 B but I have to be at least a C now, other than that and I'm exhausted, no symptoms! I'm counting down the days until my appointment at 12 weeks, which is Nov 10th to make sure everything is ok. I'm nervous!
For those mamas having sleep problems, consider getting one of those massive hook-shaped maternity pillows. Most people wait until they actually have a belly to support, but I got mine early in the hopes it would help my back and newly humongous boobs. Worked like a charm.
I napped with it when it first came in and thought it was a little weird at first. Then used it that night and slept ALL night (except for the inevitable pee break). When I got up I had zero aches and pains. Not even breast tenderness. It was a small miracle. I can't sleep without it now.
I got the snoogle, but there are cheaper ones out there. Just make sure you get one with a zippered cover. They're a pain in the butt to put back on after washing if you don't get the zippered ones.
Was able to get an earlier apt at the imaging center- baby looks good! 146 bpm. No word on what's causing the bleeding, but imagine I'll hear something from the dr tomorrow after she looks at my scan (either just normal 1st tri bleeding or some other situation). Just feel so relieved. Did got set back by a week, so now looking at 5/23 as my edd
I think I gag when I have an empty stomach or haven't eaten for a few hours. I always feel like I'm going to dry heave first thing in the morning when I have to let the dogs out.
Lots of “stretching” type pains in my uterus along with some mild cramping and lower back pain. Makes me a little nervous but I just hope it’s this LO growing away!
I have experienced what I assume is my uterus growing as well, it never feels like cramping to me. Just a bit uncomfortable.
Last week, I was eating everything. 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches, 2 dinners with snacks in between. This week I am either starving or so full I'm repulsed by food, even if I haven't eaten much. So I'll be too full to look at food and 30 minutes later, be starving. I cannot get the hang of this new food mood. I really need this sorted out before DH and I go on our road trip this weekend. Which I will also be bringing my puke bucket along for. DH mocked me last pregnancy for having a puke bucket next to the bed and in my car because I never got sick, until I did. The first time was in our home and I was able to make it to the toilet in time. The 2nd and last time we were in the car. On the interstate. Going 80. After that, he was thankful for my bucket.
@suchaglencoco The other day I had to take my husbands car to work and saw a McDonalds bag in there. He's on a health kick so I was gonna tease him about needing to be better about hiding the evidence but I ended up puking in it on my way home. A puke bucket is a much better idea... I wish I thought of it sooner!
ok I just threw up on my drive home from work again - this time into a dog poop bag. This never happened during my last pregnancy but now this is twice in the first week of having MS. Definitely need to invest in a puke bucket.
@mmb4532 I'm nauseous all the time, unless I'm eating. So at times I'm nauseous and starving but other times I'm nauseous and full. I will say though that it's much worse when I'm hungry
@fraufarbissina my mom said the only time she got sick when she was pregnant was during her long commute home. Car rides suck!
Me on the other hand, my husband started heating up his dinner last night and I had to immediately run to the bathroom. No bueno. He felt bad "I ate the same thing for lunch and you were fine then!"
@fraufarbissina, I'm sorry you're getting sick! (Omg, auto correct put a "d" in for the "s" in sick. I'm dying!) I got sand castle buckets from the Target dollar aisle. DH liked having the handle when washing it out that one time in a gas station parking lot.
Alright, diagnosis is in on my bleeding. Let me know if I should be TW this, I wasn't sure.
Dr says I have a subchronic hematoma. Potentially it could cause a miscarriage, or it could heal itself. The good news is that mine is apparently relatively small, which is a good sign. Only thing I can do is pelvic rest. Otherwise it's a waiting game. I have another ultrasound in two weeks so hopefully will have a good update then.

FX that it does heal. We've had quite enough losses in this group, one would think.
Guys, I'm not nauseous today. Like at all. WTF? I wanna throw a party or run to the DR or something! Ugggggh I hope this lasts! In other news I apparently no longer sleep past 5am...
Anyone have nausea and headache at the same time? I'm thankfully only naseous at night right now, but it always accompanies a headache! Other than that, sore boobs, and I'm exhausted I feel pretty good.
@babys_2018 omg yes. My nose has been stuffy since the week I got my bfp, and I feel like I've got junk in my throat all the time, like a throat/chest cold but theres nothing in my chest...

And week 10 by far is the worst week of nausea so far.... I guess I was a late bloomer.

for me it was opening the refrigerator. No weird smells just the moment I opened it and saw that food I just couldn't handle it...
