I have had sinus issues every pregnancy. The best fix by far is daily (or more) sinus rinsing with a neti pot. I also add Goldenseal to cure/prevent sinus infection, because that was waaaaay worse then just being stuffy all the time.
Yes, totally that @heelsidehero. People heating stuff up in the microwave is NOT helping my nausea at all. Barf. I decided today to try to add the afternoon dose of Unisom to my current three times a day B6 and nighttime Unisom and so far I feel no different. Awesome.

@Ceridwen77 bottle of ginger ale in the freezer for about 45 min to an hour depending on how full it is and it gets slushie! Be careful opening it cause it'll explode..just open it slowly and over the sink lol they also make things that you freeze then add any kind of drink to and it freezes it for you in a couple minutes
Thank you!! DH went out and got me some ginger ale last night. Gonna try this!!
I am so miserable. So nauseous I just want to lie down. So hard to be in the office. I keep thinking it must be so obvious. I can't tolerate coffee (I usually drink almost exclusively coffee). I can't go more than 3 minutes without eating something or I get crazy nauseous. I can barely stand cause I'm so nauseous.
I'm eating my words today. I'd avoided nausea until this morning (I'm in week 7) and it reared its ugly head and bit me HARD. Oh, my poor students, their teacher became a monster overnight. I've had all the bloating and gas pains but I was hoping I'd be a lucky MS free. In another perspective though, it does feel like I've finally joined the party so glad to see I'm not the only one.

heelsidehero I spotted from 14DPO until 9 weeks! @allie0320 My MS started at 7 weeks and is dissipating at 9 weeks...or I am just getting a little reprieve.
My spotting has FINALLY stopped! I do not have to wear pantyliners anymore! I went from pretty mild MS during the entire day to only at night. I'll take it.
I thought unisom and b6 was going to be my savior. Lasted a week. Today I was back dry heaving first thing in the morning. On top of that I have the flu/cold/sinus infection or something and it's hitting me WAY hard. Like, can't get out of bed all day hard. I feel like such a baby, but this effing sucks.

I really feel for all the ladies with bad MS. I have only puked once and it was the worst. I can't imagine constantly puking. You ladies are tough. I would probably lay in bed all day and cry.
Spent my plan period puking and laying down in the nurses office. As least we have one to go to. Picked up my Phenergan rx and hoping for relief. @justsuzie thanks girl!
Super crampy today and a little spotting. Just happened to be my first apt so nurse has me on pelvic rest for the next few days. Bummed out bc I had planned to go on a 6 mile run tomorrow.
Still dealing with low grade nausea aallll daaayyy long. My husband has zero sympathy at this point. He was cool for the first week or so and now when I complain he just shrugs it off. Pretty sure I’m frustrating him with how long I’ve felt like crap. Which of course makes me SUPER irritated at him. Like, “oh, I’m sorry, is this whole process inconvenient for YOU? Gosh, ok, that’s terrible. I’ve been floating around all day, basking in the glow of early pregnancy by fully enjoying the all day nausea, exhaustion, and heightened sense of smell. So sorry you’re not experiencing all the fun with me!”
hoping second trimester ushers in a more normal version of me - for the sake of my sanity and marriage!
Anyone else just having really bad gas pain? It's practically my whole stomach and it just hurts hurts hurts. I haven't had any spotting and I don't feel any cramps I'm worried about but wondering if bloat and such can cause pain in your upper stomach and lower intestines?

Yes you can be in pain and discomfort from bloat and gas. Of course. Were you never in pain or discomfort because of that prior to getting KU?
@sparkymcgeee I've had the pain before but I spent a lot of time in the doctor's office this summer after discovering I have mild IBS and an awful lactose intolerance. This is a different pain than I've experienced from those as that tended to be in my lower stomach and this is in my upper stomach. I think a combination of not being able to take the same probiotics they were using to help treat my IBS post-dairy and all of the pregnancy slowdown has just wrecked havoc.

How far along are you? At 7ish weeks I was waking up in the night with SEVERE gas pains. They were so bad. Apple juice actually did the trick and I cut down on processed foods for a few days and ate clean. It helped me pass a bunch of the gas. Stay away from broccoli and cauliflower though. THey are killer gas makers. I also have IBS and it has gotten worse in this pg. Also, the gas pushes on your diaphragm which i think causes chest pain too. I thought I was having chest/heart problems because I'm crazy..nope just gas.
@justsuzie I'm 7w2d. You have no idea how much better you just made me feel. I thought I was the only one! I've been trying to figure out if it is actually my pancreas or something just because the pain is in such weird places but glad to hear I'm not the only one with upper. We're shooting for low FODMAP the next few days to see if that helps so I'm hoping between that and trying to eat cleaner I can be feeling better by next week!

allie0320 TMI I actually was on all fours doing some YOUTUBE videos trying to move the gas through my body.....There are apparently videos on everything. Mine was gone by 8.5 weeks. And now I just get occasional bloat.
I am so gassy, especially at night and first thing when I wake up. I let out the most epic farts in the morning that practically shake the house. DH has been really supportive and sympathetic so far with my symptoms, but apparently being woken up by farts like a lion's roar is his limit. He was not impressed this morning.
Spotting update: called my doctor to see if they recommended anything (i.e. Pelvic rest) and they sent me for an u/s. I could hardly concentrate at work this am. All is good - there is only one, it has a heartbeat, and is measuring right on EDD. Apparently NO reason (that they could see) for spotting.
Hope this gives some hope to others with spotting.
I'm really going to need my company to start mandatory rest time. I don't care what other people do, go walk, stretch, sleep... I literally just need to lay down for like 10-15 minutes. Not sleep, just no longer be vertical for a few. It helps so much with the nausea when I get home that I think it might actually make me productive at work...
nah, probably not lol

@ladystinson when I used to feel sick at work (not pregnancy, usually a hangover ), I would sit, full clothes with a toilet cover on the toilet seat in a bathroom stall for like thirty minutes. Sometimes a wet paper towel against my forehead. (Clearly I was employee of the year )
I thought a lot about hiding in an empty conference room and lying on the ground, but I was scared of getting caught. Hiding in the stall on a different floor usually worked pretty well for me (not sure how big your company is though).
@silverhope I did that exact thing during the first tri my last pregnancy. Went to a different floor in my building and closed my eyes on the toilet for like 20 minutes. It's the only way I survived some days.
