So so nauseous today. Trying to wrangle my 14 month old and go to church is hard. DH is the pastor so I'm basically a single parent on sundays. I think I'll be sipping ginger ale through church today. That won't give it away at all. Lol.
Omg. @suchaglencoco My hubby is like that too! Just stares at my boobs! It's crazy! He keeps telling me they look like implants, I'm like nope all real. As for the sleeping in a bra thing, me too. I've never slept in a bra and now I have too as well. My boobs hurt something fierce and the bloating is terrible. If I could get away wearing stretchy pants to work every day I would.
@suchaglencoco@AquaPrincess22 boobs are huge! I went up a cup size this week and I have no new bras....Of course DH loves it.
@sharkmama39 I know I sound like a broken record but I had spotting for 6 weeks and a massive red bleed! I’m doing great here at almost 10 weeks. Lots of good outcomes with spotting. I’m convinced that baby impanted really deep and my progesterone suppositories caused irritation. Hang in there.
@sharkmama39 we'll be thinking of you. I had an u/s Friday due to spotting at 8 weeks and all was well. They couldn't find a reason for the spotting either. I hope this will give you some comfort.
Spotting has continued, so my pelvic rest has been extended they want me to come in for an ultrasound tomorrow... trying to be positive.
I had 2 major bleeds while pregnant with my twins. It was terrifying. We went in for our u/s and found a sch to be the culprit both times. It's not fun, the pelvic rest sucks, but blood doesn't always mean loss. Think positive and update tomorrow when you can.
how often are you taking it? I have 12.5 mg doses and it says every 6 hours. This should be interesting at school tomorrow. Are you still doing unisom and b6? I actually did some laundry today which is a big deal for how I've felt these past 9 weeks.
Thanks to all of you for the reasurement. Definitely feel like the spotting is associated with effort- the day I spent sitting at my desk all day, no spotting, this morning I was doing house work, spotting. Been sitting on the couch the rest of the day, nothing. Not sure what that means overall, but trying to take it easy. We'll see. I'll keep everyone updated!
Wednesday night (5w 1d) I was at dinner with DH and about to go see my favorite band in concert. I went to use the bathroom before we left and had bright red blood and freaked out Luckily since then it’s just been very light spotting. I did speak to my midwife who was able to reassure me that a little bit of spotting was fine so I was still able to go and enjoy the concert. Other than that I’m just sooo tired and nauseated off and on. I feel bad for my 2 year old because I’ve been a lame mommy!

So almost 10 weeks here and nausea has come back like a freight train. STMs.....Did this happen to you? I have been pretty sea sick/motion sick from 7-8 weeks, and then just mildly nauseous through week 9. Now, I feel like death....stomach churning, mouth filling with spit, the works. I really hope I wasn't just a late bloomer.
@justsuzie I had nothing with DS. I could count on 1 hand how many time I actually threw up and they were very sudden(1 was from a single bite of chicken with goat cheese, my body said NOPE! lol), no lingering nausea other than what I would get first thing in the morning from the oral prometrium but I learned in the first week to eat a piece of toast right before bed and I wouldn't be nauseous in the morning.
this time..... ugh! I have been consistently nauseous for about 3 weeks now (I'll be 8 weeks tomorrow) I'm on the prometrium again, but eating before bed does nothing. Though I missed it 2 days in a row (oops! fell asleep early) and I was still nauseous so I don't think theres any correlation this time. It's miserable. If I don't eat then I'm super nauseous, but nothing sounds good, I don't want anything so I have to force myself to eat. Turkey subs/sandwiches for the win because that's about the only thing that doesn't make me sick thinking about it.
I will of course be happy no matter what, but fingers crossed this means it's a girl for me. we've got DS and DSS, I told DH if it's another boy he's on his own because I'm going to end up in a home lol We would love to complete our family with a little girl. But thrilled no matter what!
Good luck with the nausea and sorry this got so long lol

Well...husband called me a "walking corpse" yesterday...so that was fun. At first I was like "Oh I guess he does recognize how horrible I feel," But then he want on to say that if this lasts all pregnancy we are only having one kid. Excuse me? I can decide what I am willing to endure. Yes, this is miserable, I can't eat anything, lost 12 lbs in 3 weeks, but it's too early to tell anything. Then he had the nerve to say "If this lasts all pregnancy I am not sure our relationship can handle going through it twice"....I know he was joking around...but, boy I was furious...considering 10 years ago he was seriously injured and spent 15 months at a hospital facility a 6 hour drive from where I lived. I know it's not the same...but, I can apparently handle his "sickness" without letting it get me down....but, somehow seeing me so sick is making him miserable/depressed? Hell no. Suck it up.
Just got off the phone with the drs office- whoever I spoke to was rude AF in words and tone. Basically telling me I didn't need an ultrasound and questioning me when I said I was about 8 weeks- if you haven't had a period how do you know? Well the np told me, idk. I also said I think, so relax lady.
They are having me come in for a blood draw today and then again on Wednesday. FX levels look good.
@sharkmama39 the receptionist at my OB is mean too! I hate calling their office because I know she is going to be snarky to me. When I meet her tomorrow, I'm planning to go overboard on the kindness so she hopefully stops being so rude. Also, good luck on your blood draws!
@kpc914 mmm yea, I would have said some not-so-nice things back. I can't take too many jokes right now. Sounds like you are taking the high road. You are a stronger/kinder woman that I am!
@codik86 boo to the bacon aversion.. I hope that doesn't last!
I'm full of complaints today... The nausea has come on strong. And it's the annoying kind that is just lingering all day but I haven't actually fully thrown up yet. This is the opppsite of how I felt last pregnancy when I would throw up in the middle of every meal but feel completely fine after.
I also had to unbutton my pants for the first time today because the bloat is real. And I'm wearing a cardigan because it was freezing this morning but now I'm so freaking hot but can't take the cardigan off because it's hiding the fact that I'm walking around the office with my pants unbuttoned..
Anyone still not having any symptoms ??(I am 7 weeks 4 days...i think), I go pee more often through the night, and the odd time have weird sensations in my uterus (not cramps). On one hand I am lucky on the other I worry, ugh can't win. I have not had an ultrasound yet...
@nikky8 I'm with you! Up until the last week I've had very few symptoms too. And then the bloat, food aversions, and exhaustion all hit at once. Minimal nausea though so I'm still feeling fairly good! Don't worry apparently it's normal too!

My dad came over today and said I was "looking big" ugggggh he's not an asshole, just has no filter and I am feeling unreasonably round for 8 weeks....
I told people at work because it's a very small building and the sound of retching is impossible to hide. I'm 9w With DS I was nauseous weeks 4-10. I'm 9w4d and praying it ends at 10 weeks. The Diclegis is working beautifully (or at least well enough) but I'm almost out of free samples and insurance won't pay a penny. Terrified of taking Unisom during the work day. I may choose the nausea over that most days *¯\_(ツ)_/¯*

Lots of “stretching” type pains in my uterus along with some mild cramping and lower back pain. Makes me a little nervous but I just hope it’s this LO growing away!
My lab results still haven't come back. Last time I got them back the same day. It makes me nervous that something is wrong and the dr is planning to call me to talk to me...
@sharkmama39 I'm sure they're just busy and you have nothing to worry about! But I know that the waiting game is no fun. My last doctor's policy was that she only calls if the results are bad which left me anxiously waiting for the phone to ring between appointments.
@fraufarbissina that's exactly what I am worried about. No results posted online bc she's going to call me bc something is wrong. I am very much a believer in the power of positive thinking, just struggling right now. Still trying and appreciating everyone's support!
I went to an urgent care today and I do have a uti. Yay me. They also said that the glucose levels in my urine we're pretty high and I need to see an OB because I could have gestational diabetes... (I neglected to tell them that I ate all of the candy we got last night from Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party all day, and that's skewed the sugar levels like mad.) I need to be careful food wise anyway, because I've been eating like shit the past couple months.
Just recovered from a mild yeast infection and now I think I have a mild UTI Next I'll get a script for antibiotics and get another yeast infection...
But other than that I feel great. Morning sickness started right on schedule the night of the first day of being 6 weeks preggo and it's been with me ever since but it's super light. I never threw up. I'm coming up on the 9th week in a few days and that's supposed to be the worst for morning sickness, but so far, I'm not complaining.
Occasional headache. Lots of fatigue, especially since I have a bum thyroid and we're still trying to get my TSH levels under control. But I get to the gym every couple of days and that helps energize me.
Overall, just a list of tiny discomforts. Hopefully it stays that way.
Insomnia third night in a row. It’s 3:50 am here and I’m wide awake AND hungry. Just gonna try and hold out for a couple more hours. I shouldn’t have read the food craving thread. I want waffles.
Im with you too! I'm 6 weeks today and almost no symptoms, which worries me. Although,my boobs are killing me, I'm gassy, bloated, and tired. No MS or food aversions. I've felt slightly nauseous, but nothing that was abnormal or as terrible as my friends made it out to be.
