@sprkls8506 I test first thing in morning and then afternoon. I think you just haven't Od yet. I usually go to low day after O. Sometimes if there are things going on in our lives O can get thrown off.
Ohhhh good to know. I assumed it would just stay blinking if I missed the surge because I figure the estrogen would still stay high?? The only reason I care is because of the progesterone. Thanks for the input @Mack2342! Hopefully I get a solid soon!
@sprkls8506 A couple months ago I had 8 days of blinky smileys. I wasn't temping that month, so I'm not sure if I ovulated or not. But man, was it frustrating seeing that smug little face blinking Day after day!
Maybe get the test without the blinkys so it's less annoying I had my doubts about the dollar tree opk but low and behold today that 2nd line was way darker. Almost the same darkness. I'll probably just do 1 more tomorrow to compare. Gotta get back on it tonight ladies! Last 2 nights DH was busy so nada. I'm Oing later than I thought. Today is CD17. So maybe the past few months we haven't been BDing late enough into my cycles. If this is the case next month I don't think we will start BD until CD12.

I kind of gave up on everything cause I was sick of it @tosh24 - Last time I OPKd it was positive at CD 16. From what I remember the egg usually released the day after a pos OPK. It's on tonight and I'm hoping DH is up for it. He's been working so much this week. He's taking tomorrow off. It's important for me to really try again before resorting to medical intervention. I've also been using pre seed every single time.
Dh was working all weekend and was trying to negotiate sex tomorrow morn instead of tonight. I was like no way since I just got a pos opk today mr. Needless to say he's already asleep. I'll probably get 1 more BD in just in case in 2 more days to top it off and call it good for the month.
sprkls8506 I finally got my solid smile this morning too. My DH has been not been feeling awesome, but has still had his head in the game this cycle. The smile popped up this morning so I told my DH that I'd go all out like it was our first date if it helped. Like, I'll-even-shave-my-legs type of going all out. I think he at least had a chuckle. FX for everyone across the board for this month!
@EleighMay - that's awesome! I told DH last night maybe he shouldn't be as busy during my FW. He's powered thru twice. It's actually refreshing to finally be able for us to be on the same page. I told him yesterday when he got home I got a pos OPK so he knew it was on. Before it was just like sex whenever and he never realized that there really is a FW. I guess going to see the OB and talk about everything and me explaining FW to him made him finally come around. He was actually the one that came up to me a couple weeks ago asking when I was going to be "ripe" lol.
Yay for solid smileys!!! I think there are a few of us that are within a few days of each other cycle-wise. Hopefully we all get to blow this popsicle stand....
AFM, I'm a bit annoyed with my ovaries. My 1.5 cm follicle on Friday grew to 2.5 cm today (so borderline over-ripe) and I have about 5 more follicles in the 1.4-1.6 cm range. So I'm either going to be triggered tonight with one over-mature follicle and a bunch that are under-mature, or I will be cancelled. I don't find out until 3 pm today. And my abdomen is freakin' sore. ARRRGGGGHHHHH.

vlagrl29 The FW conversation happened again last night as I was propositioning him. He was all, "Honey, I'm really not feeling good". I said, "That's fine, we can just try tomorrow instead, but I SHOULD get my solid face tomorrow so it'll be important that we try if we want to catch it." He said, "can't we just catch it the day after?" I laughed and we revisited how all that works again. Needless to say, he was back on board pretty quickly once he understood this is a time sensitive process. Yes, I would love to just pick a day for it to catch. If I could harness that ability I'd be a millionaire!
sprkls8506 Right? Next Friday works great for me so let's just drop another egg right about that time since he's been feeling crappy this weekend. You know, just in case. *eye roll*
@ELeighMay - freaking hilarious! Yes we can catch the egg at any time. Seriously I use to eye roll DH when he was wanting sex right before AF would come and then afterwards would say maybe we caught the egg. LOLz sure DH well the flow is starting in a couple days so a random egg might have just popped out.
vlagrl29 Exactly! It's not like the guys where they just produce what they need all the time.
sprkls8506 They're just oblivious. I actually asked him if he had ever taken a health class before. It's not like this process is top secret. I wouldn't expect him to understand the super in-depth aspects about the process, but I felt like that part was pretty basic understanding on reproduction.
Aaaannd I'm cancelled. RE just sent me an email to say I overstimulated so I have two choices: cancel or convert to IVF. I can't afford IVF OOP so I guess that only leaves me with one choice. FML.
ETA: It was September, 1 year ago that I got pregnant with my first loss so I was kind of hoping to come full circle this cycle. Guess I can drink all the wine tonight....

tosh24 Aw man, I'm so sorry. That seriously sucks. Will they try again next cycle? I can relate to the OOP life, we are completely OOP so any extra measures are really not an option right now. It's infuriating how insurance companies don't think any of this should be covered.
Yeah DH has no idea about the FW and all. I swear, every time we BD he asks if we got pregnant. I think it was just so drilled into us as teenagers that you'll definitely get pregnant if you have sex, so you better not have sex until you're married. We're in our 30s and went to Catholic schools growing up (we're not religious now though), so hopefully it's better now? Not sure. Probably not.
@fishee333 Guys just never grow up. My DH has a PhD in genetics and he was super surprised when I told him about FW at first. Ever since then he studied extensively human reproduction topic and he started charting for me and looking at my opk sticks But it still took me a while to convince him that he has to take supplements with zinc, selenium and folic acid (there is one study showing that it lowers the percent of sperm with abnormal number of chromosomes and yes i had to sent him a reference to this paper so he could verify ) I also remember times in my 20 when I was constantly worried about getting pregnant and using BC plus a condom. I wish it was that easy
Re: September WTO
@vlagrl29 When I started temping and using OPKs TTC DS, I was Oing on CD 17 and had no idea I was Oing that late. Oops! At least now you know!
