Hello everyone, my names Samantha i am a 26 year old WOHM i hav a DD who is 12 (she isn't mine biologically but she is mine) and a DS who is turning 8 on June 2. Just got my BFP on Sunday and for extra confirmation i took the first response test on Monday and just went to the doctor today. My EDD is Feb 7th but it will most likely be before that because i will most likely have another C-section. I am praying for a DD because i missed out on a lot with my step daughter. I look forward to sharing our journeys of mommy  hood together

  • I changed my username about a week ago and it's still Knottie....  any ideas why it didn't change?  It has the new name in my account screen.  Sorry I'm new to TB.

We suffered a pregnancy loss previously, which was extremely difficult for both of us. However, we are absolutely keeping hopes high and celebrating this wonderful time.

Hey ladies! Congratulations to everyone. I have one son so this will be our second. Sitting at an estimated due date of 4th feb 2018. Excited but nervous as our last pregnancy resulted in a missed miscarriage at 9 weeks. Staying positive and hoping we can finally give our son a sibling X

Hey ladies! I'm a FTM and I am due on 2/1. However, based on my long cycles, I expect to get my due date moved somewhere around 2/4! I got my BFP on 5/25 and had it confirmed at the doc yesterday!  I am 29 and my husband is 34! We are so excited and can't wait to start telling our families this weekend!

    Congrats everyone!
Finally broke down and tested yesterday. Was definitely surprised to see a BFP! Thinking I have a due date of June 2. I have a 2 year old daughter who arrived two weeks early so I'll be floating between this board and the January board.
Excited to share this exciting time with all of you!
  • Hello ladies! I am excited to join this community. I happily got my BFP last Thursday with an EDD of February 3. I have two lovely DDs and a fur baby, love to be outside, exclusively BF both girls until after 1 year of age and cloth diaper.  I congratulate you all on your BFPs! What an exciting time for us all!

    Hello everyone!
I am still in shock that I am joining this BMB. According to my LMP, my due date is the exact same date as my DD's was. She will be 4 on or around when this LO will come. I was a dirty lurker in F14 and I'm going to try to be active this time around. :)

    ETA: EDD Feb 3
  • Hi all!  Finally got a BFP yesterday at 10 dpo after 6 months.  Looks like I'm going to be in the February 2018 club, with an estimated due date of 2/11 according to several online estimators.  This was also the same due date as my son, who is now two (he ended up coming on 2/7).

I'm 36 and work in international events (lots of travel!) my DH is 34.  We also have 3 dogs.  I was also a lurker last time around on the F15 board, hoping to be more active this time.

Well, I go here now. Hi! I decided to take a test this morning on a whim and looks like baby #3 will be here approximately 2/12, though if I've learned anything from my first two pregnancies (40w2d and 42w) I won't be marking my calendar! I'm 29, a SAHM, "retired" home health RN turned hobby "farmer". I have two DD, 3 and 14 months, 2 dauchsund-mixes, 19 chickens, and am getting 2 goats next weekend. (SOOOO excited) Come sit by me and we can chat about gardening, breastfeeding, cloth diapers, baby wearing, and (gasp) water birth & homebirth. We can totes still be friends if you want all.the.drugs! You do you :).
Welcome!! Yes to gardening! My peonies just bloomed, it's the best time of year. Need groundcover ideas, my front yard is lacking some serious color, goal is lush and green! First pg was with OB, medicated birth, BF for 18mos. I just made my first appointment with a CNM and I am super excited to go that route and possibly have a water birth! But, I really want drugs to still be an option lol. I will also be exploring cloth diapering this time round.

Thanks for the welcome! I mostly do veggie gardening, but I have a few ornamentals in the front. What kind of area are you looking to cover-lawn type area or a planter bed? I really like the look of creeping Jenny for a ground cover.

I did a hospital water birth with my first and it was a great compromise. I liked having everything available as back up. Then we moved and were too far from that hospital (the only one in the state that did hospital wb) so I opted for a home birth with #2. I'll be using the same MW for this baby.

Cloth is awesome! I've been using good old prefolds and covers since the beginning. They're still going strong! They really aren't as intimidating as they seem.

Amazing! Yes, a hospital delivery with a midwife sounds like a perfect combo. Our hospital has suites made for this purpose with a tub and other birthing aids. Creeping Jenny sounds like exactly what I'm looking for, planning to cover flat lawn area. I'm excited to have you here as a multi-purpose resource!

  • Hi everyone! I haven't been on the bump in a long while, I used to post on GP and GPM on the nest until we moved to a FB group. I am 28, DH is 31, and we have one son who is 4. EDD for baby #2 is February 7. First appointment scheduled for June 19. I can't wait to tell DS...and everyone else! I've been anticipating this pregnancy for a long time but DH is a student so we needed to wait until he was further along in his program for #2.
