@mrs_fogue we have Savannah on our list, heard it's gorgeous, and there's this really nice bnb/inn that has a babymoon package. I think it's called the Savannah inn?
I watched Frozen for the first time on Friday. And then again last night. Is it weird that I thought it was a cute movie?
I hadn't seen it until November last year and really liked it. Now that DD has watched it 836373728266 times since then....not so much. Moana for the win.
@riverrainez I would call the doc to just be sure. The nurse last week pretty much scolded me for not calling sooner and made me freak out at work, which is why I left for an ultrasound. But I was also having bright red blood, though not enough to soak a pad (which is why I didn't initially call). It will give you a peace of mind. Plus every office is different on how they handle things. I'm sure it's nothing and your cervix may just be irritated/sensitive! I know how scary it is. Please keep us updated.
Why did I not know you could buy mug brownie mixes until today?

@carries2018 Arkansas. I've really considered NC or SC. Maybe Charleston? Normally I spend months planning the perfect vacation each year, because I usually get bored at work and vacation planning is sups fun! But not having the potential time sucks. It'll probably just be a throw together beach vacation if we had to change our plans.
@bluejeanbabi05 sounds amazing but I need toddler friendly. Savannah is on my bucket list one day. I love all things ghosts and hauntings and they have one of the most haunted cemeteries in the US.
I was craving cake or mug brownies all weekend but couldn't work up the energy to actually put the ingredients together. Because measuring out 3 or 4 things and pressing buttons on the microwave or oven is SO HARD.
@TallMomma29 Go buy the mixes. Pour in mix, add water or milk, microwave, done. It was delish.

I feel way behind thanks to working. Ugh. Stupid work and adulting and shit
@riverrainez I'm pretty sure I need to try a different brand or something for contacts because I'm not liking the ones I have now. I go back on Thursday for a check and I'm probably not going to wear them until then. Also, I agree, if you haven't already, give your Dr office a call. I've had the miscarriage dream and it stressed me out so bad all day. Not worth it
And now I already forgot what else I was going to say. I'm so agitated from taking a 3yo to the eye Dr and being there for an hour and a half. But that's for BFest.
Thank you bump Gods for FINALLY fixing mobile giffing!
DH is using my car while his is in the shop from a car accident last week. I'm sitting at a bench right now waiting for him to pick me up, and have had 5 separate people ask me for a cigarette or lighter. This is the most I've been asked in my entire life.

@canonmom413 I looked at the mess that is our guest room/nursery/current catch-all and started a mental note of what needed to be done, does that count as progress? Lol. It is such a mess right now that I don't have the will power to even start. It's the last room in our house that needs to be painted, I'm over painting this year.
Who has flown with a toddler around 2 years old? Any tips for a 10hour flight? I took him to the dollar store and watched which toys took his interest the longest. I don't want DS to watch movies the entire time so I need at least 6 hours of stuff to keep him interested. He is not much of a foodie so snacks will only entertain him for 10mins at a time. I plan on bringing only new toys for excitement level plus his favorite stuffed toy.
Please don't flame me, but a good friend who is also my coworker told me yesterday she, along with another friend, want to throw me a baby shower. I told her over and over since this is our 2nd and 3rd baby, we don't need a shower. People usually don't have showered after their first. Plus I don't want anyone to feel like they have to throw us something just because we are pregnant. She told me they were throwing it anyways at her house and I need to tell her when a good time to have it is.
So my question is, when?! Haha. My first baby we had a shower about 8 weeks out so we still had time to get things we need in case the baby came early. But having two this time, I have no clue when? We are due at the end of Oct, so I was thinking maybe early August?
Also, do I make a registry? I feel weird since it's our second pregnancy. Especially since most of the things we need are high priced items (like double stroller, another car seat, another high chair, another monitor, etc).
I hate feeling greedy and don't want people to feel like they have to get us something. I would just rather hang out with my friends and eat lots of food/cake and have a good time.
Ugh, I haven't been able to get on here in a few days. On Saturday I took 70 high school students to a band/choir festival. On Sunday H and I checked out the church where our best friends go, and then I had to be at school for a post-spring-musical debrief meeting. Yesterday I taught a full day, ran a marching band workshop, and then went straight to San Francisco for symphony chorus rehearsal, which takes about an hour and a half just to get there.
Seriously, is it summer yet? Or at least post-AP-test so I can get on during 3rd period while my kids work on a project?
fffc i keep getting excited about new posts on the sex thread. adn then i see it is someone i don't know who they are and i am disappointed bc i dont care.
@buttercream_frosting wow 10 hours, my heart and soul goes out to you. I wouldn't be against Dramamine and hopefully get some sleep in for a few of those hours. My 2 year old doesn't have much that will hold her attention for more than a few minutes. Play-dough is about the longest I can get her to do one thing.
@curlyq423 I think it's great if someone wants to throw you a shower. I wouldn't make a registry though, but that's just me.

@carries2018 Every time I open that thread to update the spreadsheet I'm annoyed when people aren't there. That means they didn't intro or even bother to post in the spreadsheet thread. It's throwing off our numbers!!!

@curlyq423 I think if it's truly offered than its fine. Especially since you are having two this time. I would do a registry, maybe put gift cards on there. That way people can give in their price range and then you can go in and get the bigger items you need.
@curlyq423 deft do a registry for coupons! i have a registry and i am not even having a shower haha. also i feel like it being twins it is different, you need 2 of everything this time. ppl might not go all out, but gives them some direction.
as for timing i say July or early August. i had my last oct baby in August and it was perfect! (even if i was early well in advance to accommodate that).
@carries2018@jessafishy Doing approvals, I've been surprised by how many have participated in O17 but never intro'ed, but also how many introed and then never came back.
