@pawcall thank you so much! It's lonely sometimes when people don't get it. I'll take any advice I can get!
@ugoglencoco I so hope ours is easy too! He has a LOT of negative reactions to other kids and babies, especially if they are making loud noises. He is super verbal and will tell a baby "STOP YELLING WHILE IM TRYING TO EAT MY BACON" or something similar. He will wear headphones sometimes which helps. If you know of any good social stories or anything you did that helped I would be grateful!
I am expecting #4! We have a DD 12.5, DS 11, and DS 4. We were a bit suprised with the BFP but over the moon that we are able to be parents yet again. None of my babies have made it to term so I will most likely have an October baby...but I look foward to getting to know all of you!
Hi Ladies! I'm a FTM, due (so far at least) 11/16. I've been lurking pretty tough for the past week, since I got my BFP last Thursday. **TW** DH and I were TTC for a few cycles last year, with no luck, then I got a BFP last month only to have an early MC at 5 weeks. I got pregnant again without ever getting AF, so I'm not super sure about my EDD. I've been anxiously waiting to get past the point where I made it last time, but I'm feeling good about it today so I decided to finally join in the fun on the boards. **/TW**
DH and I live in Northern California with a bunch of cats - I'm 30 and he's 29. I work part-time as a High School teacher and he and I run a small business together. So far my symptoms have been very minor - tired, a touch of queasiness (especially in cars) and HUNGRY. My boobs *might* be starting to get tender, but I can't really be sure that's not due to the fact that I keep groping and prodding them to see if they're sore yet My first appt is on 4/4, so the next few weeks can't go by fast enough!
So far I really like the culture on this board - I look forward to getting to know y'all!

@jka427 - honestly I am dreading telling my son. We won't be telling him for quite some time, and when we do, i'm probably going to ask his team (therapists, school counselor, that kind of thing) for help. If he so much as sees or hears a baby, he will loudly tell the world that he HATES babies. I think for him, he doesn't like that they are loud (headphones do help for us too, a bit), unpredictable, and tend to touch him. He doesn't like to be touched unexpectedly and he really doesn't like children, his peers included.
He is fantastic with adults, honestly, I think he's funny and insightful and fun to be around - but he seems to think kids are a waste of his time and do weird things (like play) and overall it's just a struggle to get him engaged with non-adults.
All of this is to say that I'm not looking forward to telling him we're bringing home a tiny human. But we'll get there ;-)

Hello! Recently found out we are pregnant with our first bioKid (second kid). We had struggled with IF for some time and decided the Lord had other plans for us so we became foster parents to our darling 5yo whom we are still hoping to adopt. Now this surprise/miracle. No meds, wasn't trying, wasn't even taking a prenatal... He works in mysterious ways. But super excited to be here!

Hi all! I've been a lurker here for a week or so waiting on my BFP. We found out this morning we are expecting LO #4. DH and I have been together for 8 years and married for 3. Our ODS is 6 years next week, YDS is 4.5yrs and DD turns 3 in Jan. I was very active in both DSs BMB(Mar'11 & Nov'12) not so much in my DDs BMB though(Jan'14).
I am somewhat nervous about this pregnancy only because I had HG with all three kiddos. Hoping somehow I don't get it this time around.
Hello all! STM here, 29 yr old SAHM and army wife. I have an almost 4 year old daughter and she's such a joy to be around. EDD 11/2. I'm an avid reader and somewhat of a nerd sometimes. I'm a little anxious this time around but I hope my anxieties with subside during the second trimester. Good luck to everyone.
Hi everyone! I'm a STM, I have an 18 month DS. I've had 2 previous m/c so my fingers are crossed for this one! Both of those were before 8 weeks, so as long as I make it to my first appt on 4/5 I think we'll be ok! I have an EDD of 11/12. I'm a SAHM, and I'm really looking forward to having another baby! I was a member of the Sept 2015 bump thread with my first, and I'm hoping this one will be helpful as well! Best of luck ladies!
Hey everyone! I am a FTM but we have 4 children in our home. I have 3 step kids (DSD age 15, DSS age 13, and DSS 11) then we also have a temporary foster child who is 1.5 yr. I am very excited to have my own, but wary about the timing. We have been trying for 3 years and this is our first BFP! I am from Canada, and have realized that this board seems to be mostly American so not all of the same things apply, but hey we are all pregnant! Woohoo !! Excited to go on this journey! My EDD is November 4th, and I have my first midwife appointment on April 3rd. I am 25 years old. Sorry I did all of this totally out of order.

We should get them together. I could have written this about my son!!!!!
I can finally post! I'm a FTM due Nov 21! I'm currently in PA, where we plan to put roots down. We're very excited but nervous. We moved to the area early Feb and found out on 3/11 I was 3w5d ...talk about it happening right away. Tried for 5 months after getting off the pill. Pleasantly surprised it happened that quickly! I have my first appt at 7w exactly!
Hello! I'm a stm and have one daughter (my user name was suppose to be D's Mom but it ended up looking just weird... ah well.)
I am due 11/16 and will be calling the midwife next week Thursday to set up my first appointment. I'm going to try for a home birth this time because my labor was so fast last time the hospital midwives told me it would probably be best we live about 1.5 hours from the hospital and laboring in the car last time was the pits.
Anyway. At just 5 weeks and some change I am tentively excited.
I was drawn to these boards by how active and organized they are. I love the ticker change threads and look forward to getting to know you guys and hear your pregnancy journies.
(pardon any typos- using my phone and it doesn't highlight them- and I hate touch screen typing- and I'm super dyslexic...)
@lahansen We are due date buddies! And **TW I, too, had a loss last cycle, a chemical at four weeks. I am nervous but also have a better feeling about this one. I poas like mad for a week straight just watching the line get darker and darker. And I'm still charting temps as well. Both have been reassuring.
It feels like last month was some strange emotional something. I mean- was it a "loss?" It happened so early and was very low drama. I got my period about five days after my positive. I mean I was devastated and then numb and then just when I started to feel different- Like I was about to continue working through how I felt about it- bam! Pregnant again. So it is like I just haven't fully delt with how I feel about it but would feel like a faker if I joined in on any pregnant after loss thread... I have no idea if it will be something I'll just be able to forget about or if it will hover over me. Right now I don't think about it much... just a few times a week when things are real quiet.
Anyway... sorry for the ramble.
How are you handling getting pregnant right after? Do you feel betwixt and between, as I do? /endTW**
Hi all. I never expected to be here again. This is number four. DH is turning 40 and I'll be 38 in May. I had a Nexplanon placed a little over two weeks ago. I thought I was a lucky one where periods just stopped, but my friend said it takes a few months. Just to be sure I took a pregnancy test. It was positive. The blood test was also positive. My OBGYN removed the Nexplanon and I'll see him again April 11th. It's so strange to think you are finished having babies and then be pregnant and not want anything to happen to the little booger. Nice to meet you all

@DsMom Yay! Due date buddies! **TW I definitely understand your feelings about such an early loss... it was a really hard on me, but it seems like nothing compared with what some women go through. It's weird, because the first time I got pregnant I was so sure that it happened, way before I finally POAS, I knew we'd done it. Then after the MC, I wanted so badly to just be pregnant again, but I was tracking my ovulation and it never came (or so I thought).... I was so heartbroken and sure that this cycle wasn't going to be the one, then, lo and behold, BFP. Just goes to show that your brain and body will play tricks on you, I guess /TW**
BTW, we also live 1 1/2 hours from the nearest hospital (that does deliveries, at least), and for that reason (especially as a FTM), I won't be doing a home birth, but I am veeerrryyyy nervous about that drive down to the hospital/birthing center while in labor.....

Cautiously joining since I'm super early but excited !. A little background . Was pregnant on my own March 2015. Early MC at 8 weeks. Tried for a year when we decided to go get checked. Both fine. My only issue is low AMH for my age (31) so my egg reserve is low. Went through 3 rounds of IUI. Nothing worked . Did IVF. Worked first try. 6 eggs fetizlied 3 made it to 5 day blast . Froze one, implanted 2 one stuck. Was super excited....(was due June 2017) ...then MC at 9 weeks. (Abrnomal egg once again) waited 2 months did it again, this time I opted for genetic testing because I did not want to implant my frozen embryo if it was also chromosomaly abnormal. From that cycle I only had 1 make it to blast. Did genetic testing on that one and my frozen. Both normal...both implanted last Wednesday (march 7) and yesterday I got a BFP!!! I couldlnt wait for my beta yesterday so I did HPT which said pregnant obviously but then my blood work came back and confirmed! Sorry for all the info lol ...on that note Congrats to everyone here! Excited to get to know you!! Due date from my calculations is on or about thanksgiving which should be a sign for my favorite holiday!!
Hi everyone! This is my first pregnancy! After 4 years TTC, left tubal removal, and 3 rounds on 50 mg clomid we got our BFT. Me (34), husband (31) from Washington State. Our EDD is 11-17-17. 5 weeks 1 day and over the moon! Excited to get to go on the journey with everyone.

Shameless plug for Lankenau Hospital! I delivered my second there and had a great experience.
Hi everyone! Super excited and nervous to be posting here...
I'm a FTM (AMAer). We've been trying for about a year, and had a MC last Sept. (hence the nervous part) We've been trying naturally, but were scheduled to begin medicated cycles next week. We've been in Italy for the past week for spring break, and when we got back today I took a test immediately - BFP!
I have a bicornuate uterus and will have to have a cerclage placed as a preventative measure around 12 weeks. Anyone else the same? Or have had this done?
Anyways, happy to be here and looking forward to meeting you all!

Hi everyone! FTM here, EDD 11/2/17. I'm on cloud nine and still feel like I'm in a dream. I was told by more than one doctor that I wouldn't be able to have children because of severe PCOS. God had other plans! I had an appointment scheduled for 3/6 to start on some fertility treatments and I took 5 (yes, 5 ) positive pregnancy tests on 3/1 and had a confirming ultrasound at 5.5 weeks. Next ultrasound scheduled for Monday 3/20 when I am 7.5 weeks and hoping to hear that little heartbeat. Looking forward to the next few months with all of you ladies!
Hello everyone! I am a STM and EDD is 11/20. Very excited and a little hesitant. We have been working with a fertility Dr for the last year and have had about 3 miscarriages early on. I have had my betas checked last week and first beta was 694 and 48 hours later it was 1804. I am praying this baby sticks! I will have an ultrasound within the next 2 weeks with our fertility dr.
Our son is 3 years old and keeps us busy. I also have a son that would be 5 this summer but he was born with a chromosomal problem that we didn't know about until after he was born. He passed 6 days later after being born at 39 weeks and 4 days.
Morning sickness has kicked in strong starting yesterday. Dizzy and nauseous, ughhh. I have also been pretty tired, feel bloated, and breast tenderness.
Thank you for listening to my story. I am looking forward to getting to know everyone here!

Hello all! FTM here, due November 5th. My DH and I have been married two and half years and are really excited to be adding a new addition to our house. So far it's just been us and our two already crazy dogs, so things are about to get a lot more crazy lol

@kissthesky32 No I have no clue yet! There's one down the street from us, but I heard it can be very expensive. So I've been looking - our insurance changes soon so I have to really wait til then to see who's covered.
