• @mcdonald-bailey 's post about issues with the photographer (I'm frustrated for you!!) made me realize that the hospital never took newborn photos of my twins... Everyone gets a free session at the hospital and they just didn't send one for my guys... Well dang.

Is everyone else doing newborn photos?
• @kjd291 I think you are in nesting denial. No judgment because I think I do the same thing lol. Everyone is like omg are you nesting when I clean around work or stuff. I'm like no, this crap just needs done and no one else does it but me so I better clean up before I leave for 3 months!

@direwolfmini we have a photographer booked to come to our house for newborn pics! The hospital has an in house photographer too and you can choose to purchase pictures but I thought it would be more relaxing and natural at home. That was my main motivation for getting the baby room done/decorated lol.

• @direwolfmini We are having our wedding photographer come and do a newborn session. We got them done for DS and definitely Love them. Make sure you get all of the details if you do though.. like how many pictures they edit and what you get for your money.

• I asked my OB about RRL tea and she actually said there is conflicting info about it and discouraged me...she said that since it acts as a diuretic that there is a chance it could bring on preterm labor in some people.
Just like any herbal tea or supplement it's not for everyone. My midwife told me people with a strong family history of breast cancer shouldn't drink it; I'm not sure why, but I imagine something in it looks similar to s hormone, which is what makes it effective in the first place, lol.

Oh wow, I didn't realize that, either! I do have a family history of breast cancer and I'm positive for the BRCA1 gene mutation. I bought some and was planning on starting drinking a couple cups of it this week since I'm so close, but maybe I shouldn't.

• @longliveregina that is too funny. I haven't had too many cravings this pregnancy, but for some reason the little McDonald's cheeseburger has been the one thing that tastes amazing even when I'm feeling sick. I don't remember even liking them that much before!
• Seriously never want to eat Chinese food again.. still have a stomach ache and all last night I was worried irritating my bowels was going to put me in labor lol.. lots of BH this morning which makes my upset stomach feel great.. is it nap time yet?
• @SienaC Yeah... definitely annoying when you then think "But I still have 3 weeks 2 days left.. maybe 4 weeks.. maybe 4.5 weeks!"

I just had a major craving for french fries and a Wendy's chocolate frosty ... and got irrationally mad at my husband for taking too long to go get it while I sat on the couch and could have gone myself. I just can't move. Feeling like only people here will understand the struggle. :#

@SienaC I'm even more tired over the well meaning questions people ask since I feel like I'm asked the same set of questions a hundred times a day and just hope I can keep my hormones in check enough so I don't unintentionally flip out on someone.

@jenny0228 I did a similar thing with a bag of green grapes the other day...I was craving them and bought a bunch thinking I'd snack on a few while at work and bring the rest home...nope. Ate the whole thing over my lunch break.

• Sitting at the MFM after an hour and a half long sonogram.....

Also, my husband passes the Foreign Service Officers Test! It's only the first step in a long hiring process, but as it's supposedly one of the hardest tests a person can take I am so proud of him. And a little nervous that this time next year I could be married to a diplomat, lol.
That's so cool!!

And hope the sonogram results come back soon and look good. Did they say why it was so long?
• Anyone else constantly acting as if this trip to the grocery store will be the last? It's been out of control every week lol
• @longliveregina Is your husband currently in training to be a Diplomatic Security Special Agent? Or still applying? Asking because one of my best friends is currently in the training program and they may know each other which would make this a truly small world :)
• Gators&BoSox sorry about the hubs travels. Mine will be traveling overseas the last week of March. I've been balancing (internally) nerves but also being supportive for him.

We can do this!
• @vino831 YES about the grocery store lol. I try to just go every two weeks but it's been a weekly thing recently and I just buy ALL THE THINGS.

• @datalover13 okay good not just me! Hahaha today I was like OFC I need 6 boxes of granola (they were on sale)

He wants to work as a diplomat for the state department working under an ambassador....more diplomacy, less security. I would go anywhere to support him, of course, but as a homebody it is more nervewrack8ng than exciting to think about living in another country!

@kjd291 It was just a very detailed one. Everything was good. :) Longest appt ever though! Bp was high at the beginning of the appt (like 130/99) but was 119 over 70 at the end so she isn't worried. We blamed traffic. I do have to do another 24 hr urine test as a precaution and make an appt again for two weeks from nowbut

• @longliveregina good!! Was just worried about you since some of the last things you posted were about cramps and contractions! Glad all is good with babe and your BP came down at the end of the appt. good luck with your pee jugs ;)
• Guys!!!! I need help!!! My DH's birthday is on Monday and I have no idea what to do for him! He has never liked any gift I have bought him so now I just get him a card and let him buy something for himself that he wants. He wants to have sex which is the worst possible thing ever for me right now but he apparently can't function without it so I have "uncomfortable pity sex" and "romantic card" and "special meal" on the list. Anything else you can suggest that makes your hubby feel really special on his birthday?
• is there anything floating around on groupon that you guys could do? usually they have some interesting events or date nights on there for a reasonable price
• @Gators&BoSox good suggestion! Hard for us to find a sitter though, but we could try for a weekend event!
• @kjd291 I check every morning for your update!! Haha you are doing awesome! Maybe we will be labor buddies!
• realizing i really should pack my go bag lol 38 weeks today... i made a check list does that count?
• Anyone else checking this all the time? https://spacefem.com/pregnant/due.php
Part of me wants him to wait until the 2nd for my induction, and another part of me is hopeful every time I get a gas cramp that I am going into labour. Ughhh

@Gators&BoSox I have a very minimal hospital bag right now, and I'm 38 weeks today too! My game plan is to pretty much grab things when I start to have contractions, and then send DH home for anything I need after that.
