@jayandaplus My back hurts back there and I was thinking it may be a rib out of place. A couple times ago at the Chiro I had 2 ribs out of place, though I didn't know it.
@nda_roxybabe if you think it could be that again you should go get it checked out. If your ribs are prone to being out of place it's easy to imagine that your uterus could be putting bad pressure on those same ribs. I would have someone look at it just to be safe. If your ribs are okay, back pain bad enough to think your rib is out of place is definitely worthy of a massage.
@laurapalmier Thanks, I made a chiropractor appointment for this evening. Even if I'm wrong about the rib, its something that could benefit from seeing the chiro.
It's nice to hear the nasal strip work! I've been sleeping like crap to begin with and then DH had started snoring horrible all night long. We've been together for 10 years and this is the first time he's snores and I just can't deal. I'll have to give those a try.
I found out today that I failed my one hour glucose test and am feeling kinda bummed about it. I failed it with DS as well, and then passed my 3 hr, but I think I'm just bummed about having to go for my 3 hr at all.
Is anyone else feeling the baby move in a different spot? For weeks I only felt movement on the sides of my belly and right around my belly button and now I feel it so low it feels like there's a foot in my vagina. I was kind of worried. I think she just flipped but I really have no idea.
@laurapalmier I've been feeling her in a different spot for a few days. It used to be right by my belly button and now I'm pretty sure her feet are right on top of my bladder, because I'm constantly feeling like I have to pee.
@laurapalmier: Nothing to worry about, it is totally normal to feel movement, flutters, and kicks in lots of different places. I figure, every place is fair game!
@laurapalmier Yep. A few weeks ago it was like a tap concert in my crotch and lately she switched it up and is apparently trying to break her way out by my right ribs. By the end of the week it will probably be something new.
@laurapalmier I'm feeling baby every where these days. Hiccups down low in my pelvis and then a few days later near my belly button, on the sides, something very hard (head? Butt?) in my ribs, above my belly button...
I feel huge. I'm pretty sure baby is in there going "I need to remodel, I need more space. I think I'll knock out this wall here *shove shove* and go into this little nook here....oh, whats this over here?"
thanks guys! @WombThereItIs definitely feeling the tap concert right now hahah. Just a tiiiny bit nervous about feeling this "lightning crotch" eventually. This already feels so unsettling.
@laurapalmier Thanks, I made a chiropractor appointment for this evening. Even if I'm wrong about the rib, its something that could benefit from seeing the chiro.
I'm currently dealing with this exact thing: rib popped out of place near my lower shoulder due to a car accident in October. Chiro and massage are definitely helping. Hope you get some relief!

Oh yeah since Friday. Before I could only feel baby on my right side up by my belly button but lately I can also feel it above my belly button to the side on my left side. I'm not the biggest fan and miss being unaware of movements! How Roxybabe phrased it definitely hits the nail on the head!
@RainyDays86 , yep...my boobs started feeling tender a few weeks ago. It comes and goes in waves, but it's annoying. I think I forgot how much I dislike the 3rd trimester. I just feel uncomfortable pretty much all of the time.
@MoshiMoshi7 , boo on failing your 1 hour test! The 3 hour test seriously sucks (as you know). With my last pregnancy, I barely passed the 1 hour, then had to do the 3 hour at 33 weeks because the baby's abdomen was measuring big (?!) and they wanted to double check that I hadn't developed GD, I failed one of the data points, so they made me do the 3 hour AGAIN at 34 weeks. It was pure torture. I'm going in for my second 1 hour tomorrow morning and hoping against hope that I pass...I hate this test SO MUCH.
My son made it through the whole day at daycare! Yippee!! Now I don't feel like such a terrible person for taking him in after his throw up episode this morning.
And, on the topic of baby movements, this little girl moves around constantly, but generally really low--like near my pelvic bone. Lately, she's been doing these weird shimmy movements that are slightly painful--I imagine she's twirling around on the inside because that's definitely what it feels like.
Update! I had my level II U/S and baby boy looks 100% healthy! The specialist literally said he looks perfect! I am beyond overjoyed!!! There is no EIF on his heart and he's developing right on track. I'm a smaller person so we were even able to see his skin folds on the back of his knee. I couldn't have asked for a better result, thank you all for your support! (:

Congrats, I'm so happy for you guys! Congrats on getting to see your baby and of course creepy internet hugs on the great news! I'm sure you are so relieved!
Congrats, @OmegaRose3! I'm so happy you had a good U/S.
@laurapalmier, I've starting feeling baby all over the place, but he likes to stick to my pelvic area mostly. That's where I get the most kicks. I asked my doctor if it was normal for him to be so low and his response was "it's a free country" - haha so he obviously wasn't concerned.
@RainyDays86, I get stabby boob pains sometimes, and some days they're overall more tender than others. Sounds like a normal pregnancy symptom!
I was having a super hormonal day and feeling completely overwhelmed with potentially buying a house, DH's work getting busy, and all sorts of things. As soon as I walked in the door, DH said "Hi hun, are you okay?" and I burst into tears. Just stood there in the doorway and sobbed. He was the sweetest about it.

I'm trying to think of gift ideas for my Mom and SIL as a Ty for hosting my shower. I don't like anything cutesy though, so nothing for my Mom that says anything about her being Grandma. Anyone have any gift suggestions?
@nda_roxybabe how about a gift card for a massage or mani pedis? Or a restaurant they love?
My dad and step mom live in CA and she can't come to the shower, so as soon as I told her about my registry this weekend, she bought the car seat stroller combo and it came today! My husband put it together as soon as I got home! Makes everything a little more real!
@nda_roxybabe: I gave my sister a pandora charm as a TY for my shower a few years ago. Are they into that type of collectible jewelry? I think any piece of jewelry would be nice, as well as maybe a clothing accessory like a scarf or small clutch. Something they'd actually use.

I did cute pamper baskets for my host. Like a "shower" basket. I don't know if you mean that when you say "cutesy" but I did a candle and body lotion and a bath bomb etc.
I just want to share all the excitement from my appointments today. ETA: Mobile ate the rest of my post. Long story short we scheduled my RCS for May 1 and both OB and MFM say that everything is pointing to me making it to term this time around.
Congratulations to everyone that received good news today!
MH just got home a half hour early from work and my in-laws are here spending some time with DD. She has been nothing short of a terror today and wouldn't go down for a nap. They told me to go relax, so I am currently bumping from my warm bubble bath.
@nda_roxybabe - OMG your quote of "knocking down walls" totally had me laughing, which turned into a coughing fit, which almost made me pee my pants but any who... Today at work I swear Peanut (team green here) was lying diagonally and kicking my poor ribs.
@kns1988 YAY! for supportive husbands, my hubby has also dealt with my crying episodes quite well. Although to be fair I am a cryer (even when not pregnant) so he is pretty used to it
@OmegaRose3 so happy to read your good news!! Must be such a weight off your shoulders (insert happy dance - if I knew how to paste a GIF here I totally would).
@rosemarylaff Hahaha! It was actually H who originally joked about the baby remodeling in there.
Awesome suggestions guys, thank you! My mom loves Anthro and Ive got some ideas for SIL now too.
BTW, went to Chiropractor, had 1 rib quite stubbornly out of place. She finally got it back and taped me up. Found out it's baby's feet getting under my ribs in the front. Ouch.
@thistlenweeds what a contraption! Honestly though I'll try it if it will help...
After some serious forum-surfing I think it's either early varicose veins (I looked though and couldn't see anything out of the ordinary!) or my pelvis separating from the relaxin. I'm actually thinking it's the pelvis. I sit for long periods of time at work and it really hurts when I get up. It aches right there at the bottom of my pelvis and I guess the ligaments holding your pelvis together are stretching. Tried walking more today and it didn't "help" but it still felt nice to move around. Thanks for the tip on the belt! I might just have to try it

Haha when we got ours we put it together too! FTM excitement right here. Then of course we put the small dog in it and scared the big dog.
