I also got a tentative date for induction, as my OB is going to Europe the week of my EDD, so since he was going to induce me at 39 weeks for GD anyway, we just went ahead and set it.
I went back today for my follow-up heart scan and the baby was in a much better position. They got all of the shots needed and everything looked good, so I am a happy momma tonight!
Had my anatomy scan today! Baby was super cooperative, and they were able to get all the pictures they needed (I had to go back twice with my last pregnancy). They said everything looked perfect, and was measuring right on schedule. I have to go back for another ultrasound at 28 weeks because of a low PAPP-A count, but other than that everything looks like it's right on track!
My anatomy scan was today, it's a girl! The tech said everything looked good and Shen got all of the measurements! I see my OB on Tuesday so I'm sure I'll get confirmation that all is well then.
Had my formal AS today, all looks good, tech was able to visualize all of the major organs this time around. And we confirmed that it's still a boy. Going back for placenta check in 8 weeks (I guess it was close to the cervix and they want to make sure there's no sign of previa) and growth scan in early 3rd Tri. Happy girl at work tonight!
Had mine yesterday. Ate right before with a Pepsi. Baby was moving pretty well and she was able to get all the measurements. It took some extra time to get the head measurements bc she was laying head down practically on my cervix. And I said she! It's a girl and healthy. I always wanted my first to be a girl.
@dolphinkates11 Congratulations on your healthy baby girl!! You may want to edit your picture bc it contains personal information for both you and your little girl.
Had my scan yesterday. They took extra pictures of her heart because of my youngest daughter's heart murmur. But Josephines heart looks great! Excited and relieved for sure.
Mom to Madison- 5 and Lillian 2....and now surprise baby #3!
Just got back from our A/S and all looks well! Baby is measuring right on track. He/She is currently breech, which is different than DS who had his head down right from the get go. I'll have to go back at 28 weeks for another US because my placenta is lying low. My OB isn't too concerned about it but wants to double check and make sure it doesn't turn into previa. And we managed to stay Team Green!
I had my anatomy scan this morning and it was amazing! I loved seeing the baby move and kick. Still team green until Saturday! Baby had hands up by its face and ankles crossed, so my husband thinks it may be a little shy but the tech had no problem determining the sex!
Dang it... I put this is the ultrasound thread forgetting there was a separate anatomy scan thread.
Everything looked good! Baby is measuring right on track, and we are having our second little girl! I am already so in love with her little button nose!
AW post within a designated thread... I'm having my a/s this afternoon at 21w1d and am soooo impatient.
I just want to know all of his little organs are formed correctly and he looks healthy!
For some background, DH and I have been thrown into the world of CHD and HLHS due to one of our closest couple friends having a son born this past October with HLHS and has already had 2 open heart surgeries since birth. You think these things are rare but then you notice how many people you know that experience some issues, some more severe than others... I'm just very anxious to have more information about the health of our little guy.
Had our anatomy scan Monday, and everything looks great. Still Team Green for both babies. Except I noticed her measure something in Baby B's brain. When I called the OB for results yesterday, they said all was great and babies are healthy, growing ahead of their dates, and nearly identical in growth (1 day apart). I asked her about what was being measured in Bs brain, and apparently B has a choroid plexus cyst. She said it's super normal and almost always goes away, but it's sitting in the back of my mind and bugging me. Ugh.a
@halfthetree my dd had a cyst in her brain and they freaked me out acting like it was a big deal. After going home worried and googling, it turns out it's very common. I kind of think everyone has them at some point and since we don't do scans everyday we only catch some. Dd is totally fine and perfectly smart and healthy now. It was gone when we went back 3 weeks later. I even found a thread talking about kids that had them and are now 10 or so years old and they were all really talented at something. Like gifted, athletes, musicians and such. So maybe you just have a little genius
Had our a/s today, baby boy 2 is growing great and looking healthy! Only thing is that they said I have an anterior placenta, glad I finally have a reason why I haven't been feeling him as much as I did my first pregnancy
Little boy is looking good! All 4 chambers present, and blood flow looking good... measuring about on schedule for my dates (some a few days ahead some a day or 2 behind but on avg. still ~ 21w) but apparently he is already measuring large/heavy... he's estimated at 15.6 ounces. Pretty sure it was the femur length that did it as DH, I, DS1, and DS2 have long legs so I think it could've distorted the weight.
The OB also confirmed that he is breech and an anterior placenta (again)... which matches the movements I've been feeling.
@Kylieslip24 That made me tear up, thank you! I've tried to stay away from google, assuming it would make it worse. I'll let it go and expect the best!
We had our anatomy scan Monday and fetal echo yesterday. Baby was head down at the A/S on Monday. At the echo he was breech! He kept showing us the goods at both scans to make sure we knew he was a boy. Which is funny because we were beyond convinced he was a girl until the NIPT said otherwise. He was pretty cooperative at the A/S except for his feet. He was on the run during the echo and the dr was pulling out every trick in the book to get the pics she needed
We had our anatomy scan today and everything measured perfectly. So thankful! I can not wait to kiss on this boy! Also we had the same tech as last time and she is wonderful! She spent extra time to find the sex last time and this time she let dd push the buttons to hear the heartbeat and watch blood flow.
Had the anatomy scan today! We are having a girl! We have to go back in 2 weeks because her stomach is on the high side of average. They said everything else looked good but wanted to make sure it is emptying correctly.
Little man was an active little thing today... but the tech finally got everything she needed after about an hour. Haha. He is measuring a week early (which is exactly why I knew I should land on this June BMB). This is going to sound ridiculously crazy because he is not even born yet... but I am so proud of this little guy. He makes my momma heart SO happy!
@EmeraldNC our little girl was not cooperating either! We were there about an hour and a half! I had to get up to pee, roll on my right and left and the tech was pushing and wiggling my belly! She finally showed us her girl parts though! I guess they also took extra pictures of the heart. We have to go back for another look at her stomach in a little over 2 weeks.
ETA: she is currently breech as well! Dancing on my bladder...
Anatomy scan was yesterday! Went well. Got some cute pictures. Everything is right on track and he's measuring perfectly. We already knew he was a boy (DNA test) and got the pics to prove it. He bahved for the first half then decided he wanted to wiggle around and wouldn't stop moving. They couldn't get the correct pictures they needed of the heart so I get a bonus ultrasound in 2wks!
Just got home from our anatomy scan, our little lady was stubborn yet again (same as the NT scan). We were in the scan for almost 2 hours and I still have to go back for a few shots of the heart she wasn't able to get. But everything looked good otherwise!

Had anatomy scan today. So happy everything was normal and baby is doing great and getting big, 1 pound 3 oz at 21w2d. Already knew 95% he was a boy from a previous ultrasound but did confirm today. I like how he is pointing his little finger in this picture.
So, need some help here. I got the paperwork from the agency for baby Kaitlyn's scan. the BPD (I guess that's overall size?) is 29%, but the head circumference is 7%? The summary said "fetal growth is appropriate" but 7% seems small (compared to the rest of the percentages, which are in the 20s and 30s).
Also, the 4 chamber view of the heart was sub-optimal...does that just mean they couldn't see everything due to baby's position?!
