@Elyse1384 Hoping for you and baby being in that 75%!! Try not to fixate on the 25%. @sls So happy to hear you are going back for a second scan.
I had my anatomy scan this morning at 18+3. Baby was moving a lot but was super comfy in one spot so it took awhile to get all the heart views, but they ultimately got everything. Everything looks good and healthy! Baby is measuring a couple days ahead and in the 80th percentile for growth. I have a low lying anterior placenta - which partially explains the lack of feeling movement which I already assumed from the previous scan. I will have to go for another ultrasound around 32 weeks so they can make sure it doesn't move any closer to the cervix. I'm not worried and if it does then I'm glad they're keeping an eye on it. It was a major relief to see baby and have good news!! My husband and I are doing a little sex reveal celebration tonight after work just the two of us. Can't wait!!
@danijo glad your scan went well! I had partial placenta previa which which eventually moved out of the way. Here is to hoping your placenta moves away from the cervix and remains a non-issue!
We had our Anatomy scan today at 20W. Definitely confirmed we are having a boy! DD (who is 3.5) wanted a sister, but she took the news well.
Our OB said there was one concerning finding. His head was measuring small compared to his body. I have to go back in and get another u/s with a specialist. Of course Dr Google is scary and now I'm worrying about microcephaly or something like that! My OB said it is likely nothing to worry about, that he sees this "a lot" and everything usually turns out fine. My DD's head was huge! She was off the charts at birth - over 100th percentile. Still she's in the 98th percentile for head circumference.
Anyone else get results about a small head? I feel like I spent 2 min with my OB and he brushed me off so I didn't get to ask all my questions!!
@elyse1384 I'm glad you got good news on the cyst! Hoping you continue to have good news and the baby continues to grow healthy!
I had my anatomy scan today. Everything looked good that they could see but the baby wasn't cooperating on the heart pictures so I need to go back next Thursday. We had her put the sex in an envelope for a reveal cake with family this Sunday
I had my a/s today. Everything was good, and no team green slips! I was feeling pretty anxious because of issues in past pregnancies and because I haven't felt this baby much at all. I just have an anterior placenta though, so no problem. And lo was sticking their tongue in and out and rubbing their cheek with their hand, which was super cute to see.
Had a great scan, the baby was moving around so much that the tech was hysterical laughing and said "Good luck with this one!", so I guess she's going to be feisty like her big sister. The doctor could see but couldn't get a pic of one heart view, so we also get to go back in 2 weeks. Yay for seeing the baby again!
Add another one to the "have to go back for a 2nd scan of the heart". My Mom might have had a congenital heart defect but there's nobody left for me to ask definitively. Plus, the tech couldn't get a good look at the heart on this scan.
Luckily my MW sent us to the local high-risk OB practice to have our AS so they have a fetal cardiologist on staff. We will get to have a longer scan with him specifically focusing on the heart. I'm actually really excited about this!
Good morning ladies! I had my scan yesterday and follow up appointment with Seattle Children's with a neurosurgeon. My scan in the morning went well. Adeline is in the 78th% for growth so that makes me happy. Given all of the issues we've had this far it makes me feel good to know she's growing well. They also ordered a fetal echo cardiogram because my husbands younger brother had a hole in his heart that didn't close up after birth so he had open heart surgery to repair it when he was a week or two old. The visit to Seattle Children's went great. Based on the MRI findings from last week and the scan yesterday morning her brain is looking good. Her cerebellum was measuring correctly for gestational age yesterday so hopefully we are out of the woods for that issue. The surgeon indicated that as long as nothing goes horribly wrong this last half of pregnancy Adeline should be fine to deliver vaginally instead of the C-section we were expecting. She does still have fluid build up/a cyst at the base of her brain which they are monitoring closely. The surgeon said based on what she can see right now Adeline should be pretty much normal like any other child. She may not meet some her milestones at the same time as other kids her age but she'll be fine. So fingers crossed the rest of this pregnancy is rather uneventful.
The fetal echo cardiogram was long but her heart is fine. They also did that while we were in Seattle yesterday. Sorry for the book!
@Wearmi1 that is awesome news! If I haven't said it , I think your attitude and approach to all the uncertainty you have been facing is really admirable. Your Adeline is a lucky little girl.
@Wearmi1 I am so happy to hear that you received such positive news. These have I'm sure been an incredibly stressful couple of months and finding out that everything is looking good must make you so thankful. I would also want to go back and punch the doctor that had asked if you planned to continue the pregnancy! So very happy to see this update.
Had our scan today and everything with baby looks good and measuring right on track! Very squirmy baby kept moving and putting their hands over their face. Also its a girl!
@Wearmi1. Phew, big sigh of relief. So happy you got good results.

Now to wait until next month...
Hoping you get good news on you next scan. Any extra chance to see baby is how I'm looking at it. I wish you didn't have to wait a whole month, they booked me next Thursday.
My scan got moved up due to abnormal blood results. Luckily everything appears normal! We remained team green and baby is actually measuring a little ahead. I had placenta previa at an earlier ultrasound which has resolved too. Finally feeling a little relief.
@email2ash Thanks! They want us to wait another 4-6 weeks to make sure the heart has grown enough it easy to see everything they want to check. They also said I have a low lying placenta so they want to give that some time to move up.
Normally my insurance only covers one U/S per tri... so this will be a medical need and covered. I just want to look again!
Everything looked great! She's perfectly average and still a girl. I have an anterior placenta which explains why I only feel her really low and in my cervix (which she had her foot right on top of).
They switched to a 4-D view and even though it's still really early she looks just like her brother. And has her Daddy's nose.
We go back in 4 weeks for a fetal echo and then at 32 weeks for a final structure/function check of her heart.
