@CarsonsMommy I've been feeling the same way about my son not getting enough time being the only one. In some ways I see the positives but I do feel a lot of guilt. I think we will end up being happy we took the plunge, though!
I was here during the great migration of '14 and I was hoping things would be under a little less control of the bump regime this time. It's better to let the boards manage themselves organically (as with any community, trust me I'm an anthropologist!). I realize the bump gods are just doing their job but @ams512 was an extremely active and kinda founding member of this group. Come on now y'all! @BumpAdmin
Sorry to change the subject but just wondering if there is, was, or should be an organized thread for sex announcements? Soon many of us are going to find out the sex of the baby and will be excited to share. I'm guessing a special thread for it would be a good idea.
@plumpous June has a thread like that (I'm a dirty lurker over there). Go for it. Anyone can start a board.

@plumpous I asked a long time ago in the NT scan thread and a few said the thread would be fine but please god don't pin it. (Based on that - I didn't start the thread, thought maybe it was also too early since most weren't having the genetic test.) Since anatomy scans are coming up - I say go ahead and start the thread (I would love to see what everyone is having in one place) and see what the consensus is for pinning - the BG's will respond accordingly. The only other consideration would be if the AS thread also covers sex declarations - then it would be a double post. $0.02.

They make big bags of popcorn, they make mini bags of popcorn. What about a 3/4 inbetween size. Sometimes the big bag is too much, and the little bag isn't enough.

@plumpous, you are an established community member, who wants to start a thread that would involve the entire community. I don't see a problem with this. You aren't some random starting an AW thread. That's where the problem comes in.
@MrsLa3 You're probably right considering yesterday I made myself two personal bags back to back right before we left to the musical where I then shared a popcorn with my mother. Yeesh. I'm clearly on a popcorn kick.

@maybeitsmadeline I'm not sure where you live, but you can order Garrett Popcorn online - their "Chicago Mix" is cheese and caramel combined. It is amazing!!!

That is where I got the idea! I think there are few things sweeter in life than a new nursery. It's just great inspiration and adorable all at the same time.
@LoveLee8, like to show off nurseries? We just finished painting, but I feel so far behind, I wonder how far other people are on their's.
Oh, I'm not anywhere with mine! Ha! It's great inspiration, and I love seeing everyone's ideas! I'm also interested if anyone else is throwing around the idea about sharing rooms with other LO's, and how they might set that type of room up!
@lovelee85, Ahhh. I'm a FTM but I am going to have to figure out how to keep the cats out of the nursery. I have these lithographs from Lilo & Stitch I am using as center point for the nursery design. Sorry if the gif are huge, I'm on my iPad.

@LoveLee85 it was early so it was mostly about where the space for the baby would be etc. but it could naturally evolve into a nursery share your pics thread. I think either way - bumping or starting a new one - it would be great! We are so much farther along! Personally, I'm waiting for the anatomy scan next month to buy anything big.
@Itsnotyourturn if it makes you feel any better we don't even have the baby's room yet because we're planning to move in a few months (haven't picked a place yet) >_<

With my DD we moved when she was 8 weeks old! And didn't set up her nursery for a few more weeks. In hindsight I wish I had more "nesting" to do in those last few weeks because I really couldn't set anything up for the baby, but my baseboards sure got scrubbed clean at 3am.
