@MrsDramaK - yes I did! I totally forgot lol. I wrote myself a note to do it tonight after work so I can post it. Between pregnancy brain, baby shower, and nesting...good call on reminding me lol, or I would have never remembered
We finished up last weekend and I finally got my camera out today to take some pics... I should have searched for a different lens though b/c it was hard to get everything in the shots (it's a tiny room).
Finally done too!! (Well need to iron the dust ruffle and get a little table for the glider.) The flowers I did with cardstock and a pattern off Etsy. Took forever and burned my fingers with hot glue like a million times. Needless to say, kid #2 is getting wall decals
Thanks and absolutely! And I LOVE your nursery! The animal heads and the tree are awesome!
I did one with three flowers, can't find the exact one though. She sends you a zip file with the templates and a YouTube link for directions. I had the templates laminated bc I knew I would be tracing them a million times. The smaller ones above the dresser are just the inner layers of the big ones, lost steam to do big ones on both walls!
We're done! The photos are small... but the important thing is this guy has safety glasses & industrial hearing protection on his pegboard... and Star Wars ABCs. because education is important, ya'll.
What to do late at night after you get home to take your mind off leaving your sweet babe in the NICU? Make sure everything is perfect in his nursery. Only thing left to do is put up the awesome telescope my ILs got him for Christmas.(sorry if the pics are giant, I only bump mobile)
So many of these nurseries are downright drool worthy! Here's my little contribution for my tiny 10x10 nursery - our changing station is finally done now that the rest of my CD stash has come in (CDs still need to be prepped/organized but we aren't using cloth for newborn so I have time)
I'm most pumped about the Keekaroo Peanut Changer and the drying rack for all my wool. Oh and the whale mobile, because the narwhal
ETA my comments keep getting eaten. I give up. Anyone have any ideas how to make the nursery seem less bland? It seems so cluttered to me, so I'm hesitant to add things but it doesn't really "flow"
@chef'swife I love your nursery theme and decor! I'm a huge fan of outer space and astronomy and you've done something so awesome with it! That mobile is great!
Thanks @BeckS13! The mobile is actually from Pottery Barn Kids. Seeing it in the store and then the constellation blanket on Etsy sparked the room concept. We wanted something that can grow a bit with him so this seemed perfect.
Okay, so since Monday ended up being the C-section that wasn't, I've had extra time to get the nursery together (and also sit in the glider for an hour at a time just because). Wall stuff still needs frames and the curtains are on the way, but I'm in love with the colors:
I have to get some frames for them but I finally got prints for the walls. Last thing to do is get curtains but since we won't be using the nursery right away I'm not that rushed to get them.
Getting there. Just finished her blanket she won't be able to actually use for a year+. But her nook in our room is coming together. I'm going to paint her a hedgehog pic tonight I think.
@WinchesterGirl i have a willow tree statue aswell but my husband knocked it over earlier this week & beheaded it. Have to get some superglue and fix it! i really love your nursery!
