Bleeding again. So I have an appointment tomorrow now. Supposed to take it easy today. Easier said then done. I'm a sahm of two kids one who needs to go to therapy today. But dh can be with me at the appointment tomorrow so I'm thankful for that.

Re: mat leave, I only got 4.5 weeks with DS before I had to go back to nursing school, so I'm looking forward to a full 12 wks this time around. For sure not a vacation, but I can't wait for that bonding time for me and babe and to have some extra time with DS so we can all adjust together.
I'm afraid I have a stomach bug. Tmi but can't stop throwing up and having diarrhea. This is the worst week that this could happen! On top of it one of my employees is being a jerk right now and has sent my some pretty nasty text messages. Good thing all be at the office tomorrow to show HR.
Well this mornings appointment was another rough one. The cyst on my little girls brain is growing with her. The perinatalogist has referred us to the neurosurgeons at Seattle Children's for further help/testing since there is nothing else my hospital can do for me. The most upsetting part of all this was being asked today if I planned to continue my pregnancy. I just wanted to scream at this doctor. How could you ask me that. This baby is beyond loved. Very tearful morning. I took the rest of the week off work. I need some mental health days at this point.
I did get my final amnio results back last week though and she does not have Turners. So that's at least a blessing.
Damn @Wearmi1 I'm so sorry to read your update about baby girl's cyst. I hope you get better guidance and insights from the neurosurgeons at the children's hospital

@Wearmi1 glad to hear the news on Turner's and that they are going to get you into the best hands over at Seattle Children's... but I'm so sorry about the news and the growth of the tumor, thoughts and prayers are continued to be with you!

@Wearmi1 I'm sorry to hear that you baby girl's cyst is still growing. Hopefully the specialists will have more answers and more compassion... how long do you have to wait to meet with them?

@Wearmi1 I'm so sorry to hear about the cyst continuing to grow. Glad the amnio came back negative! I hope the specialists are able to give you more information and a great treatment plan!
It's not possible to FEEL the heartbeat, is it? DH sent MIL a recording of the heartbeat and she texted me about feeling it quicken. What. Oh she just texted me back and she's just being old and using old lady words. Drives me nuts. Also, she said OUR baby. No, it's not yours. It's MINE. And DH's of course.
i know this was mentioned a page-ish ago but my personal PSA on GBS. i used to work in the ER and a 1 week old baby came in blue and ended up not making it just b/c the mother did not get tested and the baby ended up having it....please take this serious. this is an image and story that will never leave my mind EVER
Ugggh, sorry the cyst grew @Wearmi1 , but glad your tests came back negative to Turners. Hopefully a larger hospital has more ideas and positive energy for you!
Oh man, I'm just starting to get into the swing of things on TB again after the holidays and it seems like nothing but bad news today. I am so sorry to hear that the appt. did not go as well as hoped @Wearmi1 and especially for the doctor having to ask you such a thing after delivering that news! Do you know when they are able to see you at the Children's Hospital? FWIW, my younger sister has a rare condition (not a brain cyst however) and the Children's Hospital was the only one (after a year of trying) to figure out what was affecting her and offer any sort of treatment/solution. They seem to employ people who really know their stuff there so I hope they'll be able to offer a favorable game plan for you and your little one!
