I went in today bc of bleeding on Saturday. Baby looks great at 7 weeks exactly and heartbeat is 147. Such a relief and praying I don't have a scare like I did again.
I am feeling pretty normal actually, I do get pretty nauseated in the morning upon waking up, but thats it.. so I think so far so good..How about you ?

Today is our wedding anniversary, and what better way to spend it than going to the OB and hearing our baby's heart beat for the first time?! It was the most beautiful sound and we both cried. And, we finally have a heart rate! 171 bpm! Knowing our little girl is strong and healthy is the best anniversary present ever.
Here she is, measuring 9 weeks, 4 days! The OB has my due date as 6/3/17 (based on LMP) but I'm going to keep 6/4/17 (based on FET date of my 5 day embryo).
@wifeinraleigh28 that's an amazing anniversary gift! Glad the u/s went well. Are you assuming/hoping the baby is a girl, or did you get to find out early somehow?? Just curious! I'm hoping for team pink- especially with how crappy I feel and the breakouts lol
Got a bonus u / s today!! They wanted to double check a few things, so I got to see my bean (seriously though, it's like a tiny teddy bear) 170 heartbeat again!!
@BellaO21 We did PGS (preimplantation genetic screening) to check for chromosome abnormalities prior to our IVF transfer. A bonus of doing so is getting to find out gender!

This was done at the Hope Center. Not sure how far alonh because of irregular periods but i believe im around 7 weeks but i go for my Dating Scan Nov. 9th..But i saw the heartbeat so everything is okay
@wifeinraleigh28 Isn’t it
the best anniversary gift?! We saw our
baby for the first time on our anniversary last week. Also, I’m so jealous you already know it’s a
girl!
Got our weekly ultrasound today! Gummy bear is measuring 2 days ahead of schedule with a heartbeat of 159. Just found out next week we will transition from our RE back to outbid regular OB and I'm so nervous. These weekly u/s have kept me off the ledge. Hopefully our gummy keeps doing what they're supposed to!
I had our first appointment today at 7 weeks! Baby's was measuring 3 days behind but we could see a strong heartbeat. The doctor said I could have another ultra sound next visit since the baby was so tiny and hard to see.
Here is my little bean at 6W 2D. EDD 6/07 HR 120 and measuring perfectly. This is my first pregnancy and I had severe pelvic cramping all through week 4 and 5, so they did an ultrasound early at 6 weeks to make sure it wasn't ectopic. Even though everything turned out well, I'm still so anxious about everything because of all the issues I had. Please tell me it is normal to be this anxious?! Anyways, I'm 9 weeks today and wish my next OB appointment was closer to help ease my mind!
@Knottie85164904 It is definitely normal to feel anxious. I think we are all feeling that way, especially in first tri. I do feel as though my anxiety is improving each week though. Hang in there! What a cute little bean!
@mrlight It really is the best anniversary gift! And yes, when our embryologist called with our PGS results and asked if we wanted to know the sexes, it was too tempting. We weren't even planning on finding out, just couldn't resist! Getting that testing done really helped ease my mind and my first trimester anxiety, just knowing our LO has no chromosomal abnormalities. Definitely worth it, what with all we go through with IVF to begin with, it sounded like a good idea to make sure all was perfect with our embryos!

Had my first ultrasound Friday. By lmp I should have been 7w1d. I wasn't tracking ovulation and I usually ovulate later, but I was still taken back when baby measured 6w4d. I only ovulate a couple days late. HB was only 117. I'm going for a follow up on the 23rd. PGAL brain is still in high gear...
It doesn't always mean something is wrong. A lot of it is also your doctor's preference. I had one today at 7 weeks because my OB likes to have a dating u/s.
Last time had my first u/s at 13 weeks, so I know what you mean though.
Nope, doesn't have to be early losses. I've never had a loss and had one today--just my OB's preference (as opposed to with pregnancy #1 where I didn't have one until 13 weeks).
Did our second u/s today because I am a fertility patient. LIttle bean was standing on his/her head. It was amazing to see the change from 6 weeks to 9 weeks. We have now been released to my OB.

Awwhh! My first appointment is today and I cannot wait! Although the couple of surprise twins in here have got me a bit nervous! They don't run in either family though. Cannot wait to share my picture later!
I love seeing all of these ultrasounds! I have my first appointment next Tuesday and I'm so scared. Last time we went into our first ultrasound in April we saw our baby with no heartbeat. Seeing these little beans gives me hope. I will update next week!

9w0d by LMP, measured at 9w1d/9w2d. The little heart was flickering and thumping away at 166. The MW said she saw some wiggling too.
